I STILL can't get Bridge to work, Help

I have had Photoshop CS2 installed and activated for months. However, I have never gotten Bridge to work.
I get the apparently common, "Adobe Bridge cannot be used at this time because of licensing restrictions. You must have installed and launched at least one other Adobe application to use Adobe Bridge." I have consulted TechNote 331871, and have tried its suggestions. Solution 1, Photoshop CS2 IS activated. Solution 2, everything IS in its default location. Solution 3, removing and reinstalling Bridge doesn't help. Solution 5, I have removed and reinstalled Photoshop CS2 twice. (I have not removed the activation)
Which leaves Solution 4. Whenever I try to rerun the Common File Installer, I get "Setup has detected that a newer version of this product is already installed. Setup will now terminate.", and it does.
I have had uninstalled Adobe Premiere Elements 4, thinking that might be the problem. I also have Elements 3.0 and 6.0 installed. I have tried uninstalling 6.0 to no avail.
Anyone have any idea what may be going on, and what I might do next?

Have you seen the topic about 2/3 down this page "Premiere Elements has broken Bridge"? May provide some clues.

Your profile indicates you are running v10.5.7. If that's the case, you need to update your system software to v10.5.8 which is the minimum requirement for the iPad.
Click the Apple () menu then click: Software Update...
And make sure Bluetooth is not enabled on either the iPad or the iPhone. Tapping Settings / General / Bluetooth.

In the Desktop Manager > Sync > Configuration, make sure the calendar options are set to override Outlook.
Set it also to notify you of the changes, so you will have to approve any changes.

So I reset my Apple ID password. Which then stopped my MobileMe account from working. Hang on - these were 2 different accounts a while ago, with different passwords!!!
So I have logged back in to MobileMe with my AppleID, and that's working again. After a short wait I can now create Home Sharing again.
Folks, I think we have just had our Apple IDs merged with our MobileMe accounts!! With no consultation or warning.
My guess is that this is the most seamless way for Apple to do it, as the vast majority of people use only one email address and one password for everything. Only those of us who had the same email adress but different a different passwords for MobileMe and Apple ID will have noticed. Annoying for us few, but a clever strategy on Apple's part, becasue we have been driven to fix the issue ourselves by chaning the password, and in doing so we have realised that our mobileme account is now the same thing as our Apple ID.

Tried both ways in the Wiki, still can't get network printing work

I have tried both the client and server ways following the Wiki, still could not get network printing work.
For the first way, I tried to put either the host name or the ip address (starting with 192) of the remote printer into /etc/cups/client.conf. But both Okular and Evince failed to see the printer in the dialog.
For the second way, with cups-browsed running, it only managed to discover printers in my local network (ip starting with 137) which I have no access. I tried to manually add the printer using its ip, but it still did not work.
What can I do? I have spent hours trying to work it out but failed. I would appreciate a lot your help. Thanks.

I can't get CS6 to recognize R3D files. I put the plugin and the server files in the proper spot and I used 64 not 32 like it said. I still can't get it to work

The only thing to do to get the R3D files working is download a plugin pack with 2 files in it. one goes in your plugin folder the other in some other folder. I found both original files and replaced them with the new ones. I have rebooted twice... nothing. it won't recognize R3D files. The Camera is a Red brand Epic Dragon and it puts our R3D files. R3D's are easily manipulated in Redcine, but I can't add my .mov files on it so I need to be able to work with these files in PP.

Good thing I have a PC with 32-bit windows!
Now, I can only assume apple is working on a 64-bit

Activated phone but still can't get it to work.

I have spent all day activating my iphone, set up an account, etc. and now it when I send a text or someone tries to text me it tells me "recipient has insufficient funds to receive message". I have tried to call customer service only to be disconnected every time by your automated service. How in the world can I get some help with this?????

No Password Keeper on 9100 - spent hours on forums, still can't get it to work! HELP!!!

Guys, before you ask me to search the forums etc, believe me I've exhausted every possible avenue to try and find out where the hell my password keeper has gone to!
So here we are, this is the situation;
1. Have an old Pearl 8110
2. Bought a new Pearl 9100
3. Backed up the 8110
4. Restored everything onto 9100
5. Where the password keeper? It's not there!
So what did I do next?
1. Factory reset/wipe - still not there.
2. Downloaded the OS6 from the website and reloaded that - still not there?
I've used the application loader and all I see in the application manager is the email set up. All the forums are saying that I can select/deselect applications to load and unload, but I can't see the password keeper anywhere.
Isn't there just a simple binary or something which I can download which I can then use the DM to upload onto the 9100?
Surely someone out there knows what to do and get this working again?
Anyone?

then I think the OS you installed on your PC for 9100 is incomplete. I suggest you download it once more entirely,
uninstall the previous one, install the new one and at one point while using loader.exe you will be able to select financial dictionaries as well as applications including the Password Keeper.
In any case, you cannot use the ALX file for one specific model with another model.

Still can't get Epson driver working....any help?

Hi all, I've posted elsewhere and this site and am new to mac so bear with me. I really cant seem to get my epson 3800 (and my old 830U) to work, even after downloading what I thought were the most current drivers. Am I missing something... I've been at it for so many hours now, and would love to love my new mac after swapping (from a very functional) PC system. Forgive me if I'm asking already answered questions but I've followed all the advice I could find and still no luck. Al i get is a single, generic printer dialogue with no options worth speaking of... what happened to all my printer functions...I really need them for my work, and can't bear the thought of having to re-install my PC to get me through.
Any help much appreciated.

Thanks for you help...sadly I have done this several times now with no luck. After deleting all drivers, I download the latest version direct from the Epson site (pro 3800), I then delete any printers in print menu, re-add the new printer driver, navigate to select the driver again. I check the details are correct (driver version 6.1).
Still no luck...what am i doing wrong? Is there something I am missing here?
I am just about at the end of my teather here...Is it possible to revert a previous version of OS x...I've not done this before but I just have to get working and I've been trying to solve this problem for nearly a day now...

I have a Macbook (original 1.1) and it's in good condition. However, the mouse -selector- doesn't work. I can't click on anything. I've tried to reload the DVD and I still can't get it to work. Suggestions??

I have done the following:
1. Turned it on. Workes fine, screen comes up, programs appear to load normally.
2. Can drag the pointer on the glass touch pad, but cannot click at all. So cannot select ANYTHING. Not ANYTHING. The only thing I can do is turn the power button off and on.
Things I have tried: Plugging an external mouse in. Display response: does not recognize the keyboard, however the pointer does move with it. However, still, cannot select or accomplish anything with Enter.
Please help! There definitily is a click when I touch the mouse button below the glass, but maybe it's the battery? I don't know. Please advise. I have the set up discs but without being able to click select, I can't reinstall.

Can you play the song in iTunes?
If you can't the song file is probably corrupt and needs to be replaced.

A possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.

I started with a brand new iPhoto Library and I still can't get it to work.

Eventually I simply resigned myself to not being able to use iPhoto and started using a program called Lyn. (http://www.lynapp.com/index.html)
The only problems are that now there is no way to synch photos with my iPhone and now I have no way to use iCloud.
So I decided to create a brand new iPhoto library on my laptop and use it *only* for (a) dealing with iCloud and (b) managing the (copies of) photos I want to synch to my iPhone.
I opened iPhoto and created a brand new iPhoto library. This new library is completely empty.
As soon as I connected my iCloud account, iPhoto started using 250% of my MacBook Air processor, 99.9% of its RAM, and absolutely punishing the laptop fan. My entire computer basically becomes unusable; and remember -- this is a completely empty library.
Also fun: iPhoto was downloading every photo from my iCloud account to my laptop.
Am I the only one suffering like this?
Does anyone have an alternate way to synch photos between iPhone and computer?

Does Lyn put the image files in a special package or just accesses them in their folders on the hard drive?
You can sync photos to your iPhone using iTunes. Put copies of the photos you want on the iPhone in a folder on the hard drive and select it in iTunes to sync with the phone.

My scrollbar on my mouse pad on my laptop won't work since I downloaded the 4.0 version. I tried what some other people tried but I still can't get it to work.What can I do to fix it?

I just download the 4.0 version and my scroll pad on my laptop won't work. I have to use my arrow keys or the side bar on the side. The scroll pad works with Internet Explorer and anywhere else just not with Firefox's newest version.

This one is easy. The shortcut is for the old iTunes, that is why it won't work.
I assume you are using Windows.
If so, go to the bottom left of your screen and click the start button. Go up to programs and hold your cursor over it. A list of all your programs should pop up to the right. Move the curso over to iTunes. There should be an "about iTunes" and an iTunes logo there. Right click on the iTunes logo and click create shortcut (you can also just drag it out to your desktop). That will give you a desktop shortcut for your new version.
