I still have my iPod Nano 3rd generation, but my old computer crashed and I did not have itunes backed up, so I lost my library. Is there a way to get the songs from my old ipod to new computer library and then on to the new ipod?

Save all the photos from your Droid into a folder on your computer.
Connect your device to your computer. On iTunes left Pane, select iPhone under 'Devices'; then on the right Pane, select PHOTO tab. Make sure Sync Photo box is checked, and "from" box selected the folder that has Droid's photos. Then click the SYNC or APPLY button on the lower right window.

Is there a way to get my songs from my old ipod to my new one?
i was just wondering if there is a way to get my songs from my old ipod nano to my new ipod nano because some of the songs i have are not in my itunes... so if there is a way to get my songs from my old ipod to my new one can someone tell me how please
You can't copy directly from one iPod to another. If the songs on the old one aren't in iTunes you need to copy them back and update the new one from there. If you have any iTunes Music Store purchases the transfer of purchased content from the iPod to authorised computers was introduced with iTunes 7. You'll find details in this article: Copying iTunes Store purchases from your iPod or iPhone to a computer
The transfer of content from sources such as songs imported from CD is designed by default to be one way from iTunes to iPod. However there are a number of third party utilities that you can use to retrieve the music files and playlists from your iPod. You'll find that they have varying degrees of functionality and some will transfer movies, videos, photos, podcasts and games as well. Have a look at the web pages and documentation, this is just a small selection of what's available, they are generally quite straightforward. You can read reviews and comparisons of some of them here:

There's also a manual method of copying songs from your iPod to a Mac or PC. The procedure is a bit involved and won't recover playlists but if you're interested it's available on page 2 at this link: Copying Content from your iPod to your Computer - The Definitive Guide
Whichever of these retrieval methods you choose, I would also advise that you get yourself an external hard drive and back your stuff up, relying on an iPod as your sole backup is not a good idea and external drives are comparatively inexpensive these days, you can get loads of storage for a reasonable outlay. -
I was hoping i could just sign in on my new one and get all the songs to it with out redownloading them.
It is a reasonable question - we increasingly see the ability to access "my data" through the cloud rather than relying on local storage. In the case of iTunes:
You can, in most cases, access and re-download previous iTunes Store purchases
If you subscribe to iTunes Match, your complete library - within the 25,000 song limit imposed by the service - will be available to you,
That being said, the most complete and reliable method is still to copy your complete library (database, media, artwork, ...) from the older computer to the new one. If you've configured iTunes so that all your music, etc., is stored within the iTunes Media folders then you can just copy the C:\Users\username\Music\iTunes folder and all its contents from the old computer to the corresponding location on the new one. Depending on the size of your library you can copy it across a network, using a thumb drive or an external (USB) hard drive.
If you have media stored elsewhere on the old computer the process is a little more complex. -
My iPod Mini 3rd Generation isn't recognized in My Computer or iTunes. I can't even restore it without iTunes. The same thing happened with my iPod Nano 3rd Generation, but that one worked for a while, and suddenly went unrecognized.

I would like to know, on the ringtone page, where you can select songs out of your music library, is there a way to remove a song from the list after its selected? I would thin there would be a way to "delete" the songs from the list. (Clock app)
Let me explain:
In the clock app for ios 6.0.2 I am a little confused. It allows you to go into your music library, and create a ringtone using any songs you choose. However, I cannot find a way to remove a song from this list, just like I cannot delete one of the preset ringtones (which I'm not trying to do, but just as an example)
Thanks for your time! If you need more information just ask.
(I believe both my iPod and iTunes are up to date)I believe you just are able to delete them from iTunes.
Hope it will be helpful -
Is there a way to get my music from my old library which is located on a crashed computer - to my new computer so I can sync that librabry with my new purchases?
You can only transfer Purchased music over to Itunes on your PC.

As for you own music, you may have to use a third party software. A good Free one is called Sharepod which you can download from Download.com here:

I have ran the diagnostics test on iTunes and iPod. The diagnostic says there is an iPod, it is identified with the correct name, but it says there is no sync ability. What can I do? iPod nano 3rd generation. All updates are current.
It had not been used for awhile and most of the songs that were on there were gone when I turned it on. I was trying to sync to update the library.sklshrnk wrote:

Weeks, months, years? It's possible your battery is dying. Take the iPod Nano to an Apple store or an AASP. Whichever is more convenient for you.

Is there a way of getting your songs off your ipod?
Okay, so i have my ipod synced with a computer that i'll never see again. It was my ex boyfriends...is there a way of getting my songs off my ipod and on to my new computer or am i basically screwed if i want to add new songs?
Connect your iPod to your computer. If it is set to update automatically you'll get a message that it is linked to a different library and asking if you want to link to this one and replace all your songs etc, press "Cancel". Pressing "Erase and Sync" will irretrievably remove all the songs from your iPod. Your iPod should appear in the iTunes source list from where you can change the update setting to manual and use your iPod without the risk of accidentally erasing it. Also when using most of the utilities listed below your iPod needs to be enabled for disc use, changing to manual update will do this by default. Check the "manually manage music and videos" box in Summary then press the Apply button: Managing content manually on iPod
Once you are safely connected there are a few things you can do to restore your iTunes from the iPod. There is also a manual method of accessing the iPod's hard drive and copying songs back to iTunes on Windows or a Mac. The procedure is a bit involved and won't recover playlists but if you're interested it's available at this link: Two-way Street: Moving Music Off the iPod
Whichever of these retrieval methods you choose, keep your iPod in manual mode until you have reloaded your iTunes and you are happy with your playlists etc then it will be safe to return it auto-sync.
