Why do i get this message when trying to 'authorize computer': E_AUTH_NOT_READY? Is there anyone out there who knows?

In the Grid View go >View >Show Filter Bar (or shortcut; \).
In the 4 columns select <Text> and in the menu below <Filename> and <contains> and <jpg>.

    I have recently picked up an Apple TV. When I go to the movies tab, there less movies available there than what is available in my i-Tunes library. I have 38 movies showing in my library but only 23 are showing in the Movies tab on the Apple TV. After researching this a little, there are only 23 movies showing under Purchased in the Quicklinks of my i-Tunes account. The majority of my collection are digital copy downloads that came from DVD purchases. Some of the missing movies were added in the past couple of months, the rest are a year-or-so old. I have done some looking around at questions from others, but I have not found an answer that will fix my situation. How do I update my library to get ALL of my movies to reflect that they were "Purchased"(as it says they were in their Properties)?

    Thank you for that post, and the advice. I just happen to be one of those who it does work for. I've been around long enough to know that CC isn't going to work for everyone(the large publishing/radio/web company I work for isn't upgrading to CC because of the costs involved). But it does for me as I potentially venture out into the full-time freelancing world and away from the more structured big office environment. I can't make decisions based on what is best for anyone else, or what will hurt or help Adobe. Just what affects me, and that's all.

  • Apps Refuse to Open - I haven't found an answer to this anywhere else :(

    Hey,
    I have recently had trouble with a few apps made by the company Voltage Inc., it seems similar to a lot of problems seen with apps on the iPod touch, when I touch the app to load it, it starts up but then after a few seconds it shuts off again, in some cases a message appears 'Close App' and the only option is to press 'Yes'. I have tried all of the fixes for it, including:
    Turning the iPod on and off
    Turning the app off
    Installing the app a new from the app store
    Installing a new app from the store
    Updating my iPod to the newest iOS
    Every other app on my iPod works, so I don't understand why these aren't, I don't believe it's got anything to do with my iPod as my other apps all work so restoring it wont do much good. I have bought over £40 of in app purchases from this company and as of yet I have found nowhere I can submit a complaint to, or even go about getting my money back if this glitch isn't fixed.

    well this is how it is.... i recently recieved a replacment ipod. this new bugger worked beautifully for a few weeks until one morning i awoke so see that all of my music was gone....i plugged in into the computer to see that itunes would not recognize it... however windows would, after a long wait, and see it as a disk drive.... upon closer inspection my music was still on the darn thing, possiably courrupt i thought. but there, so perhaps a problem with the software or firmware on the device.... i now have tried everything in the trouble shooting section to remedy this, and a few of my own solutions... but the ipod still seems as if it is fine, just completley void of data. but this my freinds is an illusion. my warrnty is up and i do not wish to pay so much money for a replacment just a little over one year after my initial purchase.... any ideas or help at all would be appreciated.

    ah but you see, it would not let me restore, it would not recognize the device... and my music is from cd's and vinyl that i have encoded....but i am with you on the ipod virus tip... i can't be for certin but i think there are a few.....but new revalations....after the 4th time of un\re - installing the original software (i thought that it couldnt hurt) volia...it let me format the bugger....now the installation screens were a little buggy (it probally doesnt matter).....and then i left it all night to place the songs on there.....i arose to an ipod that seemed to work.....updated the software and blah....if i try to play a song it automaticly goes to number 2, 3, 4, 5, ect. and is finished.....so i am hoping to see if just leaving the orignal software is the only way to make it work, if so, so be it....but why wouldnt the new software be compatible.....hmmmm i think capitalism may be to blame.....

  • Still haven't found something that works properly

    OK, I can't get the iTunes store to work. I have not found one thing in this entire iCrap program that works right.
    My internet connection (T3 wireless) is perfect, iTunes is updated, DNS is reset, no firewalls are active. I am using windows XP and have checked every place I can think of for support except here.
    When I open the itunes store, it goes to the home page just fine. Anything I click on or when I do a search, it acts like it's on a very slow dialup and then times out after downloading one or two pictures. Sometimes it just gives the time out error message.
    I can't believe how frustrating this program is. Every time itunes has an opportunity to be useful or convenient to me, I end up wasting hours of my time trying to get it to work right and getting really frustrated.
    Any help would be appreciated.

    As you state you're on a wireless connection I'd be very surprised if your router wasn't running some type of firewall, or protection. It would be extremely insecure if that were the case.
    Also are you on a real T3 connection (44.736 Mbit/s) that is connected to a wireless router, or are you using the T3 wireless company?
    You may wish to contact them, as several companies have been known to install antivirus applications that have conflicted with iTunes.
    I also recommend using MSCONFIG to disable all non essential programs and attempting to access iTunes that way. The following article will show you how.

    If iTunes functions after disabling these other programs, you should be able to narrow down the culprit. If not you will definitely need to check your wireless router.

  • I've read a whole bunch of forums about printing from the Ipad2, I think I understand that, but I haven't found anything answering this:  I'm hesitating to buy an Ipad because I can't find an answer if this will work.

    What I want to do:  Set up a (non-gmail...Mobileme or another recommended) dedicated email account on my ipad2 (or ipad3) that does nothing but send e-mails and attachments to my gmail account.  Once sent, I can turn off my Ipad and put it away.  Then I can go to any computer that can open and print out my received gmail and attachments.  (Like, duh, any computer with an internet connection -smile-)
    A year from now, I might try setting this up to go thru google cloud/ cloud print -- do you know if apple is doing anything that willl prevent this?
    For now, just e-mail and attachments, sent to my gmail account from ipad. The ipad account is to use a unique e-mail address, password, username, login.
    Know if this will work?  If a work-around is needed, do you know of one?  I'm real vague about what a 'push' is in e-mail speak.

    If you can access the email, why would you need to resend it to the same account?
    Anyway, its not a privacy issue, but rather a work-around
    Don't understand/know what you are working around...
    Access the email then send to your landlord or nephew and have them print it.
    If they have an AirPrint printer available, you can print it yourself.
    Use their computer to access your email though webmail and print it on their printer.
    Again, I don't understand what forwarding the email to yourself will accomplish.

    When I connect my DV cam (Fire Wire), iChat shows it's name in the video window (application recognizes it), but the screen is black (yes, the lens cap has been removed and camera-enabled is selected).
    Any suggestions?

    Click the column header labeled DATE. This makes that the primary sort column. Click DATE a second time to reverse the order.
    This works on any column in any folder.

    You have the iPhone 3GS, not the 3G. The last update to support the iPhone 3G is 4.2.1.
    iOS 4.3.3 includes bug fixes etc. There is nothing really special about this update that wasn't introduced in iOS 4.3. iOS 5 is the one to wait for - it will be released in the Autumn/Fall and includes over '200' new features/improvements.
    The additional text tines and ringtones were an iPhone 4-only feature.

    My son has a 3 month old laptop with a touchscreen.  Unfortunately he cracked the screen.    The actual picture is fine, but the screen cover is cracked.    After much searching we found the replacement cost…..all in is some $500.  I am trying to find out if the screen can be replaced with a non touch screen.  This will save him $250.   I cannot seem to get the answer from HP, despite having been a client for many years. 
    He ordered the HP Pavilion dv6t Select Edition customizable Notebook PC. The product number is XC102AV.
    It also shows a product number ww146av .  The connector is on the bottom left of the screen. 
    I am pretty sure that the part number, per the manual, is 631019-001
    I had been getting helpful replies from “Erico”, but have not heard back on this issue.

    I am still in the return window but i really do not want to return my mac as i know it has the ability to do what i want, my problem is just finding the software that will work as i know there has been a lot of complications with OS X Mountain Lion with softwares that caim to be compatible but then later turn out not to be.
    I have been a windows user for years and this is really my first mac but apart from the hole software issue i find the mac 10x better than any windows computer i have ever used. For example i bought a HP laptop 4 weeks ago and has nothing but problems. At first the fans stopped working and making weird noises and then it began switching off when ever it felt like it and freezing like mad when i was trying to access the smallest program. I have found that now a days you dont get what you pay for with Windows especially since Windows 8 was released. Also Laptops such as HP now are just crammed with cheap parts, they dont take pride in their systems like they once used to unlike Apple. I know i will get more than a year or 2 out my mac (hopefully a lot more) but with windows systems it just seems to break all the time costing more money on extending warrantys. Also i like mac because i dont need to send it away if i ever get a problem, i can just take it into the apple shop half a mile down the road and they will fix it in store. Where as with windows i am waiting 2 weeks+ to just hear back from them.

    You do the opposite of how you got them on your phone, you unsync the pics using iTunes.
