I've got a mac apps giftcard as part of the student discount purchase. After I get my mac, I still haven't got my card. What can I do?

  • Ovi charged me twice, still haven't got app

    I bought this app called 'gravity.' When using the 'phone bill' as the main payment method, I got the confirmation sms message, but for some reason ovi store crashed. So I reloaded ovi store and checked my download list. Gravity app was not there. So I did something silly and tried downloading 'gravity' again. Instead, I ended up purchasing the app twice (received sms confirmation again). But ovi store crashed again and I still haven't got my app.
    So I got charged twice by the look of it and I'm very annoyed because this is the most expensive app on ovi.
    What should I do now? I have the reference numbers from the sms messages. Please help!

    You may try thru' the 'Contact Us' tab at the top of this page and inform Nokia / OVI providing all purchase details.. This may solve the issue..

    Same here...plopped down >$2700 USD on a new Retina MBP a few weeks ago with the promise of a free upgrade to ML when it was released.  Now, I have no doubts that I'll get the upgrade but I'm not crazy about having to wait behind scads of others who are shelling out a mere $20 bucks.
    I was given the same 72 hour speech by Apple Customer Support.  With my Up-To-Date claim reference number in hand, it seems like they would/could provide an instant turn-around to those of us who are excited/eager enough to call in.
    Apple does a lot of things right but people...especially the clientele that gravitate toward Apple products...expect excellence across the board.  It's like a "nearly" perfect date....beautiful night...best table in the restaurant...delicious dinner with a fabulous bottle of wine...your date is smokin' hot in a little black dress.  On the way back to her place, she unbuckles her seatbelt and leans across with a hand towards your leg and then lets a gigantic, tear-demanding **** that makes you want to gag.  The next day somebody asks, "How was your date?"

    After 5calls and 1 Verizon store visit, I was able to get the final bill. It was crazy complicated annoying since it seems they didn't want to care about old customer. Some representatives just hung up the call when I asked more about the detail. I think I made really good choice I escaped from their service after I had been with them over 10 years.

  • Could I still use the "find my mac"-app if I downgraded from OSX Lion to Snow Leopard?

    In the beginning of 2012, I had the great misfortune of getting robbed and all my recording equipment was stolen, including my macbook pro 17" running on OSX Snow Leopard.  I was able to buy a new macbook, same as the old one, but with the OSX Lion.  It didn't take long before I noticed that it wasn't running as smooth as the previous OSX.  At first I thougt it was the hardware; Steve Jobs had just died and I thought the people at Apple felt like they could finally ditch the high standards that were once enforced upon them and go Windows on our *****.  But I soon learned it was the software.  After re-purchasing my recording-software and trying and failing to install it, time after time, I got to a point where I just wanted to smash the whole thing and throw it out the window...  Fortunately I managed to get a hold of myself.  Now, I still want to get rid of the osx Lion and downgrade, but I don't want to have my stuff stolen again at some point and then find out that not only will Apple not pay out the insurance I payed for, but also I can't find my macbook anywhere, because I don't have this stupid application anymore because I downgraded.  So, I was wondering if there's any chance to have the best of both worlds. (or the best of one world and then just the other/previous world)  The only thing that's good about Lion is the "find my mac"-app.  All the rest utterly ***** ***!!

    "Find my Mac" is an OS X Lion feature and is not available in Snow Leopard. So if you want Find My Mac in yor MacBook Pro you'll be stuck to OS X Lion.
    I don't know what else to tell you other than consider buying Lo-Jack for laptops.

  • Still haven't got my order confirmation email...

    It's been 36 hours since I pre-ordered my iPhone 5 and still haven't received my confirmation email. Anyone else having the same problem?

    I spoke to a verizon representative today, and they sent me a text with order number and confirmation number, and Deliver by 09/21/12. Call them on monday. We spoke for about 5 min, I think  they spoke longer than they should have. They are very tired from taking so many orders. . As long as you have your order # and conformation #. It has to say 9/21/12. They also know when you put the order in by your verizon #. If it says 9/21/12 you beat the rush hour, those were the exact words. They stated you will receive an email, and tracking number when it ships next week. I hope this helps everone.

    No Email for my 1 Year Ceative Cloud Membership
    I purchased my Adobe MAX Full Conference Pass on the 24th of January. Its been about 14 days since then and i still have not recived my 1 Year Adobe Creative Cloud Membership from buying the pass. I have had to just through 4-5 of live chats and 2 phone calls, to no avail. All of the people that work at Customer Support just trasfer me somewhere else cause they don't know what to do, so I'm kind of stuck.

  • 3 billing cycles over still haven't got port in credit

    I ported in my number from ATT in Nov 2014 during the 150$ credit port in offer. It has been 3 billing cycles and so far i haven't received the credit. I called in 4 days ago and i was promised by customer service rep (5th person to talk on that day) on the phone that it is being applied to my account on that day... 4 days later nothing changed called in again today and i was told they have no record of anyone applying any credit to my account and they have to submit a form to see why the credit hasn't shown up on my account even though everything is good on my account for which i need to wait another 7-14 days to get an answer. Is Verizon ever going to give the credit or going keep giving me a run around and keep saying wait another week or 2 every time i call in?

    all the best Spalding1028 . I don't think they are going to give the credit that easily. They keep saying the billing system is the one does the credit and they cannot do anything to fix it. I called again today i was told wait for another billing cycle so each CSR have their own version of what is going on (basically noone seems to have a clue). My friends warned me about Verizon's tactics they are just proving it right. Almost 48 hrs since i asked the question nobody Verizon has responded.

    Did he say where it had been refunded to e.g. your iTunes account or was the purchase made on a credit card and it's been refunded to that ? And have you tried logging out of your account and then back in to see if it then shows on your account ? If it hasn't appeared within, say, 24 hours, then you could try contacting iTunes Support again, referring to your case number (if you have one) and/or the conversation

    user want the time bucket can set to 5min, 1 hours, 1 day
    and the data can be refreshed every 1 min. Is there some way we can get live rolling time bucket like
    if currenct time is 3/18/2006 11:07:23 am, the interval(Time bucket) send to 1 hour. Results like following

    Question can the number of required buckets that are brought back be limited to say 12? If you can limit the result set to a fixed number of buckets then you should be able to just use a group by on a case statement with a little date/time math in it. That is you would be able to calculate the time boundries from the present and then compare the row data timestamps to the boundries.
    With a variable number of buckets you would need to find the difference in the desired units (5 min, 1 hour, days ? 24 hours) between the current_timestamp and the oldest timestamp in the data. You would then need to calculate the boundries and compare the data. Doing all this would be more resource intensive than the group by the case test.
