I stopped being able to open Adobe CC and Adobe CS6 Master Collection after installing Adobe CC

I have uninstalled and reinstalled Adobe CS6 Master Collection and Adobe CC multiple times only to have them a few days later fail to open any programs. Adobe CC also starts prompting for Adobe ID, but will not accept the ID and loops back. Has anyone seen this before? Win 7 Enterprise 64 bit.

2 days ago both mine and my daughter's macs stopped being able to open up the apple start up page, search google, yahoo, facebook and many other sites. Have you tried another browser (chrome, firefox, and checked your router for blocked websites?) and also quit Safari and reopened? Also reset your cookies (Safari > Preferences... > Privacy ), or reset Safari (Safari > Reset..), or Empty Cache (Safari > Empty).

I life 06 has stopped Safari being able to open this page and my bank?

I am having to write this from IE as since installing I Life06 Safari has not been able to go to my internet banking sites. The message unable to establish a secure connection comes up. IE still works fine. Also I can't log onto the apple discussion page for the same reason?

The next thing I would try would be to quit Safari and to delete Safari's Preferences file. It is named "com.apple.Safari.plist" and it is in the Preferences folder in the Library folder on Finder's Home Page (~Library/Preferences/com.apple.Safari.plist). Restart Safari and see what happens.
Also, did you repair permissions after installing iLife?

Always enjoyed being able to open new windows in a tab. However, after upgrading found I was no longer able to do this.

Have search all over web and tried every solution I could find; explored addons, restored, even reinstalled 19.0 but I am still unable!
It is very frustrating.
Would appreciate suggestions (never thought I'd say this but Safari is looking good!).

Let me see if I understand the original problem. You can checked the preference on the following tab to divert new windows to tabs instead:
Firefox menu > Preferences > Tabs
And that was not working correctly, either on all sites or a few particular sites.
Note that by default, sites that open a new window with particular specifications, such as the size, bypass that setting. To force even those windows into a new tab, you can use the about:config preference editor.
In a new tab, type or paste '''about:config''' and press Enter. Click the button promising to be careful.
In the filter box, type or paste '''link.o''' and pause while the list is filtered.
Double click these and set the value as desired:

Hey , I Have a Mac OS X Version 10.6.8 , everytime i try to install the program i keep getting the same message.
your installation encountered errors.
Installer failed to iniialize. this culd be due to a missing file.
More troubleshooting tips:
1.restart your computer
2. exit all applications including start up items, etc
3. Launch the installer and reinstall your aplications.
did this about 20 ttimes already , what is going on , can you help me please,

Back up all data. Don't continue unless you're sure you can restore from a backup, even if you're unable to log in.
This procedure will unlock all your user files (not system files) and reset their ownership and access-control lists to the default. If you've set special values for those attributes on any of your files, they will be reverted. In that case, either stop here, or be prepared to recreate the settings if necessary. Do so only after verifying that those settings didn't cause the problem. If none of this is meaningful to you, you don't need to worry about it.
Step 1
If you have more than one user account, and the one in question is not an administrator account, then temporarily promote it to administrator status in the Users & Groups preference pane. To do that, unlock the preference pane using the credentials of an administrator, check the box marked Allow user to administer this computer, then reboot. You can demote the problem account back to standard status when this step has been completed.

Yes, you have to find the catalog file from the CC trial (use your operating system to search for it, the file name ends with .LRCAT), and then once you find it, open the LR5 trial and open the catalog you just found using File->Open Catalog

I am running Windows 7 (64-bit) and I have OCRd several hundred pages of test over the last 5 months, but receintly I get a "Some of the pages couldn't be OCRed" and "Acrobat could not perform recognition (OCR) on this page because: Unknown error"
I've tried "Repair Acrobat Installlation" 3 times and no improvement.
Any ideas on how to fix?

Win 7 stopped being able to see CP2025dn

Since yesterday my Win 7/x64 system has stopped being able to see my CP2025dn. So far I have tried disconnecting and reconnecting the printer; reinstalling the HP software (upd-ps-x64-5.3.1.10527.exe); connecting the printer to a new USB port; rolling back all system changes since before the last time the printer worked (and rebooting, or course). None of this helps. The printer remains invisible to Windows -- it does not appear in the Devices and Printers window. My other printer (a Brother HL-5350D) has no problems.

I have an R100 and I lost my SD2 card and the computer tech gave me an SD3 to replace it. I found the SD3 version more stable as I had some of the same frustrations as you in the past. It sounds like you have done the logical things, but give a complete uninstall / reinstall another go. That is what I did several times. Also, scrub your device manager to make sure all the BT devices are gone (it may be helpful to display all the hidden ones and uninstall them one by one). Finally, make sure the BT Manager is loading when you reboot, or at least that you can manually load it. Sometimes you just have to be patient with device discovery, there were times when it could not find a device and then I would try it a few hours later and there it was. If all else fails, try an SD3 card and the 4.20 stack because that combination cured all problems.

Mail abruptly stopped being able to connect with my .mac account. It will download from other accounts.

A week or so ago while I was not at home Mail stopped being able to connect and download email from my .mac account. I can still use Mail to download email from my Gmail and Comcast accounts, however. I can still download .mac email from my iPad and after installing Thunderbird I can download .mac email on my Mac. I downloaded PostOffice, but it won't download .mac email either. There has to be something that has gotten corrupted. Any ideas of what could be wrong and what I can do to get it corrected?

I am not being able to open two of my spreadsheets in my Ipad. It starts the process & then quits. At first it was one spreadsheet, and now it is two, and the ones I use the most. What can be happening? What can I do to correct? I tried copy, the copies do not open either.

I'm having the same issue. Cannot export the file in any fashion, not from iOS devices, via email, or even from the iCloud web interface. I can copy the file, but the copied file cannot be opened/exported either. Very unhappy about this, I have a "backup" but it's a version of the file from before Apple launched iCloud.

My iMac and MacBook Pro have stopped being able to find one another.

I have been sharing files between my iMac and MacBook Pro. Recently they have stopped being able to detect one another. When I look in the sidebar of the Finder window, neither computer shows the other. I have file sharing enabled for both computers. This is a recent problem, and I'm not sure what has changed. I may have updated software - but don't remember what or when, as I tend to automatically do so when an update becomes available. I would appreciate any help that you can give.

Thank you. I had all my settings right - I had checked and double checked. The one thing I had failed to do - which is the one thing that often helps - is to shut everything down and restart. I shut the router and the computers down and restarted them one at a time. They are once more talking to each other.
