I stored all my music on laptop, but then had a problem and lost music. If I try to sync ipod with laptop, will I be able to re-install music on laptop, or am I likely to lose all of it?

I have stored music onto my laptop, in i-tunes, and then used this to sync to my ipod.
Unfortunately, a while ago, I had a problem with the laptop and lost all my i-tunes info, music, etc, including some purchased TV series.
My question is - if I attach my ipod to the laptop, can I reload all the music from it onto the laptop, or am I likely to lose all the music off my ipod too?
I think it is an ipod touch, but I am not 100% sure on this - it's about 18 months old, is all I can tell you.

Hiya, Im thinking of buying my first ipod the Ipod Touch 32gb model. Will I be able to transfer the music I currently have stored in the form of CDs and already on my laptop onto the Ipod and if yes, how would I do this? I have heard from some friends that Apple and Itunes is notoriously limited in the types of formats that are accetable? Many thanks JEM24 for your help. Ive just spent the best part of six hundred pounds on a new Sony Rx100m2 compact camera, so I have no interest in the Ipods camera at all really. I doubt Ill be watching many videos on it as Im very lucky in that I have a good Android tablet. Its more as a stock music player that Ill be buying the Ipod for, if indeed I do end up buying one. I dont like the idea of paying the exorbitant amount added for more memory space that Apple along with most other companies charge. In fact I read an article on this very subject just yesterday in the tech section of Flipboard. It stated in the article that in the case of the Iphone the actual cost of each additional gigabyte of storage to Apple et al is something in the order of 60p.. This is certainly not reflected in the price us the customer has to pay at the till.. Its for this reason primarily that Apple in particular, because their products do not allow adding expandable memory of your own in the form of cheap to buy cards, that nobody in their right mind buys the 64gig etc Iphones..I am aware that we are discussing my potential purchase of an Ipod Touch here but you see my point. So, I was downloading Mountian Lion to my mac.... It was taking a while but I thought possibly that was normal. When I checked back, Mountain Lion was gone, not even downloading anymore and I thought to myself, It couldn't be downloaded already. So I went to the app store and it now says an error has occured... I have no idea what to do now...... Can someone help please?

Firefox worked before, but one time my system crashed. When I rebooted, Firefox won't start anymore. All I got is a pop-up window, saying We're sorry. Firefox had a problem and crashed. We'll try to restore your tabs and windows when it restarts. Problem is it never restarts. When I press Restart Firefox button, I get the same message. I tried to reinstall Firefox, to make a new profile, rebooted the system, nothing works. What can be done ? Thank-you.Of course I checked firefox crashes. I searched and haven't found my problem. I used Firefox 5 when it happened, then, seeing it doesn't work no matter what I do, I upgraded to 6. The same problem. So it's not 5 or 6 related. Computer probably wrote something to hard disk when it crashed and now the file is corrupted and prevents Firefox from starting. I don't know what file (or part of the registry) is. I could erase everything, but that would mean I will lose every Firefox settings and I don't want that. Now I am using Google Chrome to write this. I miss my Firefox. :( What else can I do ?

Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try another cable
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

Try another USB cable if available.

I tried to update software on my Iphone 3 from Itunes after i managed to sync phone to laptop but then i had a message (error 1015) after completing saying itunes has detected an iphone in recovery mode, i am now unable to do anything with my phone, please help!!
You generally get that error code on a jailbroken phone ?

MY hard drive crashed and I had to replace it. Now when I try to sync my iPod with iTunes it says that I have to replace the old library (that is lost forever) with the new library to sync. I do not want to lose all the songs on my iPod! What can I do?
Copy all the content on your iPod back to your PC and into iTunes. Then go ahead and sync the iPod with your new library.

I'm going to quit iTunes match for other streaming services, all my music is in the cloud (non on my computer). When I come back to iTunes Match: will I be able to acces my music?
I'm planning to not renew my iTunes match ending soon.But when I change my mind in, say, a year, will all my music be available to me. I really don't feel like donwloading and backig up :-)
Thank you!I don't know if Apple keeps a record of what music you had in the cloud. I am assuming that after the subscription lapses, after some amount of time the music in the cloud is deleted. So, after a year, if you sign up again you'll need to go through the process again.
iTunes Match is not a backup, and if you don't pay the subscription fee Apple is under no obligation to keep the data around. -

Normally you can find your serial registered to your AdobeId. To find it please login to the Adobe website and check if you did register it to your account.

In general you will go true a educational verification afterwards you get the serial. So its in your email or account. If you still have issues get in contact with the chat team to get help.

Correct. it does not magially appear in other places. It will only be where you put it.

Correct as well. Iphone will sync with one computer at a time. Syncing to another will erase the current content.
You need to copy everything ( itunes library/contacts/pics/calendars/files/docs) from the old computer, or your backup copy of the old one, to the new one. -
My iphone 4s wont sync when I connect it to the pc( not apple). It is connected as it comes up on itunes but when I try to sync it with apps/ music etc it wont. I am doing something wrong or is it a mistake with the phone. I am still able to download apps and music from itunes on my phone though.
I already restored it but that didn't help.

If you sync to a different computer, all your music will be replace with the music from the new computer's iTunes. If the music were purchased from iTunes, you can re-download them again otherwise the music on iPod touch will be deleted. Do you have iTunes backup?
