I subscribed to PDF Pack, seems like a waste of money since Adobe CreatePDF Desktop Printer fails. Please advise.

subscribed to Acrobat Pack because my Acrobat 8 professional is no longer supported in Windows8.1. I can not create a PDF on my HD using Adobe CreatePDF Desktop Printer. My different tests do not even appear on cloud...My.files... How can I make this work and return to my positive experiences with Acrobat 8 ??

    If the file is already a PDF, you can upload it directly to Acrobat.com. Just log in to your account at https://cloud.acrobat.com using your Adobe ID and password, and click the Upload File icon (the cloud with an arrow), navigate to your PDF file, and click OK!
    (Once a PDF, no need to convert to PDF again!)

  • Adobe CreatePDF Desktop Printer makes a PRN not PDF

    Trying to print a worksheet from Excel. Excel sees the the Desktop Printer, a file is printed, but it is a PRN file.

    Sorry you had problems. As indicated, you were apparently printing to file rather than letting Acrobat complete the process. When you print with the print to file unchecked, a PRN (actually PS) file is created and then opened in Distiller (AcroTray does this automatically) to complete the creation of a PDF. When you get the PRN file, you can also open that in Distiller to create the PDF file yourself.

    When you create a PDF using CreatePDF Desktop Printer, your files are stored in your online Acrobat.com account. You can find them by logging in to https://cloud.acrobat.com.
    I should let you know, however, that CreatePDF Desktop Printer is being retired very soon, and will no longer be available. Please see Adobe CreatePDF Desktop Printer is no longer available.

  • Reader XI Subscribe to PDF pack

    Hi, When I try to open an e-mail attachment on my Samsung S2, I get the option to view with Adobe or Polaris, I always choose Adobe. But since the update to Reader XI I get an 'option' to subscribe to a PDF Pack at a cost. I have no option to 'decline' the PDF Pack and no option to view (without downloading) the attachment. Now I must use Polaris to 'view' attachments. Adobe Reader once worked on most 'letters' type files as did Polaris. Is there a fix to this problem or can I revert to an earlier version of Reader??

    Thank you for contacting us. Adobe Reader is still a free app for viewing , annotating and form filling of existing PDF files. With the latest update users now have the option to use our paid online services.
    As it appears from your post you the email attachment you are trying to open is a non pdf document. Adobe Reader on Android can only be used to read and edit pdf files.

    , I have a subscription for Adobe’s PDF Pack since October 2014.
    Sorry to say that this is of microscopic use to me:
    Before I ran Vista with a perfect working Adobe Pro 8
    Since a few months, I run Windows 8.1;
    It appears that PDF Pack is not compatible with Windows 8;
    dragging files to the www-interface is of no help to me since I mostly want to print selections of xls-sheets and drawings.
    Adobe Pro 8 is not compatible with Windows 8;
    So I had to forget about PDF Pack and back / upgrade to Acrobat Pro.
      Therefor my request to refund me the 64.99 €, billed with invoice IEE2014001172320 dated 07/10/2014 and paid per Visa.

    The same thing has happened to me, I have been charged and paid two upfront line rental fees.  Subsequently BT also want a monthly rental fee.  I have called customer services three times for a refund and realised I am wasting my time as they only see one payment as with you.
    Today I have written a very detailed letter to the Address given on the BT web site for complaints in Durham, which is;

    BT claim I will recieve a reply within 10 days, if I don't get one I will copy this letter to OffCom and to the MD of Customer Services, Warren Buckley and let them deal with it.  I will get the necessary postal details for Mr Buckley from Off Com. 
    Like you I want my money back pronto and I intend to use whatever means that are available to achieve it.
    I did pay by credit card so I also intend to get my bank involved becasuse frankly BT Customer service is a complete shambles.  I have only been a customer for 12 days and am regrettiing the move already.  I have also contracted for vision services so we will see how this goes.

    Contact your "friend." Have him set up the MBP for your with your own account, settings and passwords. You are not running IOS 5.1. That is for iPhone and iPad users. What OS are you running? Did he give you the OS installer disks?

    It sounds like iMessage may be activated with the wrong phone number. Let’s see if we can resolve this. First, go ahead and sign out of iMessage and FaceTime:

    Sign out and back in to iMessage and FaceTime
    Go to Settings > Messages > Send & Receive, tap your Apple ID, then tap Sign Out.
    Go to Settings > FaceTime, tap your Apple ID, then tap Sign Out.
    Afterwards, turn iMessage and FaceTime off and restart your device:

    I am using an iframe on my Muse site to display a multi page pdf document. It works perfectly on any desktop, but it doesn't scroll on the iPads. Can some one advise, perhaps I need to add a code in the html or use a different widget.

    All you need to do is create 2 partitions on the hard drive. Format the Mac partition as GUID Mac Extended (Journaled) NOT case sensitive. When that's done, connect the drive to your Windows machine and format the other partition you just created with NTFS.

    What version of Premiere Elements are you using and on what computer operating system is it running?
    If Premiere Elements 13, please be advised that it does not support DV or HDV capture firewire. And, any USB devices
    have never worked for that purpose for Premiere Elements (any version).
    As for the burner not being recognized in the Burner Location field of burn dialog of the program, please consider
    (if you are dealing with DVD CD burner rather than a Blu-ray DVD CD burner.

    Depending on how matters progress, you may want to do an uninstall reinstall using the following scheme
    Uninstall, the usual Control Panel way
    Do a free ccleaner run through to get rid of leftovers from incomplete installs reinstalls

    Reinstall with antivirus and firewall(s) disabled.
    We might even involve later a deletion of the Adobe Premiere Elements Prefs file and, if necessary, the whole Folder in
    which it exists. More on the latter later.

  • Adobe pdf pack monthly subscription not working

    My adobe pdf pack monthly subscription has never worked. I can see 'Adobe createPDF desktop printer' as a printer option but when I click print I get the following message (for a split second) Printing..... now printing page 2 of Microsoft Office Outlook Memo Style on the Adobe CreatePDF Desktop printer - though nothing then happens. I am not given an option of where to save the pdf and I canot see that it has just automatically saved the pdf on my hardrive or desktop.
    Any help appreciated.

    What is the version of Acrobat installed on your machine. Adobe PDF printer gets installed with Acrobat.
    Have you tried to install latest updates for Acrobat.
