I-Support and Service integration
Hello,
I would like to install I-Support and Service together. However, I would like to switch on I-Support functionality little later in the project. Are there any licensing or any other issues with it?

Verizon technical support and services
I don't even know where to start but first I couldn't find place to provide feedback to Verizon on thier websiet about my terrible experience.
I came home yesterday afternoon to find out that my entire verizon service was out. No TV, No internet, No phone. I called tech support and got very rude attitude guy telling me to be quiet so he can help me when I was asking him a questions. Because I didn't udnerdatnd what he was asking me to do. I'm not a technical person so I asked him to speak to me with the way I can understand then he didn' like that. He keep saying the same thing. I really think he didn't know what he was talking about. Probably he was just reading thier manual so that is the only way to say it. Anyway after we went throught everything, he told me that he'll have to send someone to my house. O.K. then when would that be? He said that Thursday. I said you kidding me. Today is Tuesday and I work from home meaning that I will not be able to work for 3 days? I asked him to speak to his supervisor then he came up with several excusees then finaly he put me on the hold for 10 minutes before I was able to speak to his supervisor. However, you guested, there were no help here. I've chceked with my neighbors and I'm the only one having this issue so it is verizon's equipment issue but because my issue is not consider as a medical emergency so I'll have to wait for 72 hours. In the mean time, we are expecting incremental weather tonight and tomorrow. So I'll be lucky if I get someone to fix my issue tomorrow after 3 days without any service. And by the way I'm paying for these days.
By the way, I got a new phone in January and there are some set up that Verizon did, I wasn't getting 4G connection until I complained that I can't send and/or receive pictures. Then I recieved my bill yesterday and found out that there are error on the bill for $250. I'm just so disappointed and frustrated about Verizon and luck of service and integrity of service personal. This is a perfect storm for me and there are noone there to help me. Every issue that I have, I had to spend mor ethan 30 minutes to talk to someone. And most of the time you'll get run around between departments. In the mean time, I really don't know what to do because I can't work. They are expectimg me to camp out at Starbacks.......
It is not fair that because Verizon can bully us around, we as small consumer has to pay for it.Your issue has been escalated to a Verizon agent. Before the agent can begin assisting you, they will need to collect further information from you.
Please go to your profile page for the forum, and look in the middle, right at the top where you will find an area titled "My Support Cases". You can reach your profile page by clicking on your name beside your post, or at the top left of this page underneath the title of the board.
Under “My Support Cases” you will find a link to the private board where you and the agent may exchange information. This should be checked on a frequent basis as the agent may be waiting for information from you before they can proceed with any actions.
To ensure you know when they have responded to you, at the top of your support case there is a drop down menu for support case options. Open that and choose "subscribe".

Is there a way to actually open a ticket with BB support and get an answer?
Ok, so I haven't been here long, and only a few times, yet I see a lot of posts with no actual answer, or help, or information on specific problems. I am having trouble, created a post, and there are no responses. Does BB actually have a support team, or trouble ticket process, or is this the only avenue?

FYI -- these forums are a user-to-user support channel, not a user-to-RIM conduit. Front line support for BB's is, by contract, not provided by RIM. The carriers and authorized resellers are responsible for front line formal support to end users. It is possible to bypass your carrier and seek assistance direct from RIM, but such involves fees since you are bypassing your support agreement with your carrier. The "Support and Services" tab toward the top of these forum pages provide information about that. But, if you do go through your carrier for support, they can escalate into RIM at no fee to you if they so choose to.

BI Publisher and Presentation services integration
Hi,
I have configured BI publisher and done the presentation services integration also. When I try to build a query by connecting to RPD, I am able to generate a query and design the report.
But when I select BI Answers as a data source, I am not listed out the reports. When I click on browse button, it opens the popup window and dispays BI Catalog and nothing else. when I check saw log, it has authentication error.
We have enabled LDAP authentication. I have used Administrator user to configure BI publisher. I have enabled the BI Publisher security type for BI Publisher authentication.
I have used the Administrator user while executing the cryptotools utility.
The following is the error.
Odbc driver returned an error (SQLDriverConnectW).
State: 08004. Code: 10018. [NQODBC] [SQL_STATE: 08004] [nQSError: 10018] Access for the requested connection is refused.
[nQSError: 13024] Successful completion of init block 'LDAP Authentication' is required. (08004)
I am loogin in using administrator user and trying to use BI answers as a data source.
If anyone have any idea on this issue. Kindly help on the same.

Yes Seriously , the documentation at this link http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E15586_01/fusionapps.1111/e20838/jdev.htm shows clearly there is a out-of-box region called "BI Publisher Region " to be integrated with ADF UI.
But after installing the extensions also I am not able to find that option.
I have installed "Oracle Fusion Applications Companion 11g (11.1.1.5.3) " updates as mentioned here "https://blogs.oracle.com/jdevextensions/entry/setting_up_a_fusion_applications"
After installing we see "BI ADF Components" in Technology Scope but If we open a jspx/jsff we don't see "BI Publisher" region option in component palette. Looks like there is something seriously missing.
One thing to note is I installed Jdev 11.1.1.5 downloaded from OTN and installed the updates from "http://edelivery.oracle.com" will that be a problem?
Any body from ORACLE ACE directors pls help us. We need this region looks like it has more options to save the document etc..

When you buy an iPhone in the U.S. it's locked to that country with the carrier you bought it for.
If you bought the device unlocked in the U.S. it's unlocked, you can use it on any carrier. Even one's outside the country.
If you want to do a repair on a device you bought in the U.S. and your using it in another country, you must send it back to the U.S. Why? That's where you bought it from.
AppleCare Protection Plans and AppleCare Limited Warranties are registered to your hardware.
Your hardware is your iPhone.
Wherever hardware that was bought then that's the country it was designed to be used in and that's where it was manufactured.
Apple is very localized - if you call U.S. tech support, you'll speak to somone in your country.
So, what does all this mean?
In order to do a repair, you need to send it back to the country you got it from.
And we're all customers like you. We understand that you're upset, but Apple isn't gonna bend the rules to one individual.
Policy is policy. Get over it. -
Report Server WMI Provider Error: Invalid namespace

the sql server reporting services service application and applications Proxy are installed and started (SP2013 Sever)
the sql server PowerPivot system Service and SQL server Reporting Services Service are Started (in Services on Server)
in sql server 2012 sp1 reporting service configured (web service URL and Report Manager URL are configured and tested, the database report server mode is native) (SQl 2012 Server)
under general Application Settings .. trying to setup the "Reporting Service Integration" give us the above error message (Report Server WMI Provider Error: Invalid namespace)
I was looking for all blogs and TechNet material but without success.Follow these steps:
1) Uninstall SSRS from the Database Engine server (MSSQLSERVER instance).
2) Install SSRS on the SharePoint server using the "Reporting Services - SharePoint" install option during SQL Feature selection, no other services are required (e.g. you do not need to install Database Engine services).
3) You should then see SSRS as a Service Instance in Central Admin -> Manage Services on Server, at which point you can also create an SSRS Service Application.
While this guide (http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/jj219068.aspx#bkmk_install_SSRS) walks you through it, this is for a single server install where the Database Engine is also installed on SharePoint, not something you want to do.

We are designing solution for asynchronous and synchronous scenarios integration between OSB and SAP using web services.
Can you please provide some pointers which tells about how OSB and SAP integration works.
For an example:
If we are designing the above scenario between SAP PI and SAP ECC, we know the below communication protocols are avilable:
1.Proxy
2.RFC
3.IDOCs
And also we know how adapters will get connect.

business connector has both IDOC and RFC adapters so it can
receive data from SAP (IDOC, RFC), send data to SAP (IDOC, RFC)
and pull data from SAP (RFC only)

This makes no sense. You don't configure a listener nor a tnsnames.ora "in a database". I hope this is just a language issue and not reflective of a fundamental misunderstanding of how tns works.

BPEL web service and siebel integration
We are trying to deploy a web service in bpel - the web service takes xml as an input and calls a pl//sql api in a database to execute a piece of code.
We deployed the wsdl file - in siebel (creats a new business service and 2 integration objects) - and are trying to call the web service (business service) by passing an xml file from siebel (using EAI Siebel Adapter business service).
We are able to call the web service but - unable to pass the input xml -
Any help would be apprieciated.

We are doing similar kind of POC where Siebel team will expose a WSDL at some URL and it need to be called in an ESB or BPEL. We are facing a problem in validating the provided WSDL and not able to generate XSD out of it. Can you tell me how u r able to call the webservice in an ESB(in detail) ??? Siebel and oracle fusion are at different locations.
Quick response would be appriciated.
