I switched email servers and when I synced to the new server, all my old emails erased... HELP

I previously had 1&1.com hosting my email addresses ([email protected] & [email protected]) and I recently switched to Weebly/Gmail to host these email addresses...
I enabled IMAP forwarding in gmail (which in hinesight I think I should have selected POP) and when I updated my server settings in Thunderbird - all of my old emails disappeared. Theses emails are for business and I may have dramatically hurt our business by doing this.
Are emails backed up anywhere where I can restore from? I do have the option selected to store all emails on my local computer - please help :)

With IMAP all mail is managed on the server. By simply changing the server of an existing account you virtually start from scratch. I.e. the new server knows nothing about the mail on the old server.<br>
What you see in Thunderbird is basically a mirror of what's on the server.
What you should have done is moving messages off of the old server to your Local Folders account.<br>
Alternatively you could have created a new account with the same email address on the new server.
The Thunderbird IMAP synchronization option basically is a local offline copy of what's on the server. The offline copy got wiped out when you connected to the new server. It isn't an equivalent for a proper backup of your messages.
I don't know if you still have access to the old server. If not, then you can only restore a backup of your profile folder, assuming you've created one at some point.
It is grossly negligent not to backup your business email.

Connect the iPod to your computer and look at the storage used by the various categories as shown in the colored bargarph in iTunes.
Come back with the results.
An "other" larger than about 1 1/2 GB indicates corrupted files.

Next, usually restoring from backup eliminated the corrupted files. However, sometimes restoring to factory settings/new iPod is required.

HT1766 i have backed up my iphone 5 and have a 5s I want to set up from that backup file. I have gone through the process once, and when I next connect the new AND the old phone to the mac and open itunes, restore or create new phone comes up not synch??

Just brought a new 5s. Went home and backed up my 4s and when I plugged in the new phone it identifies it as a different devise, it won't sync it to replicate the old phone.

I just brought a new 5s. I went home and backed up my old 4s. When I plugged in the new devise and hit sync, it took about 5 seconds. It appears as a second devise and isn't updating the old phone to the new devise. I phoned Apple Support and they want to charge me $120 to complete the request, very annoyed as this should just be standard when you get a new devise. All I want to do is take all the old information from my old phone, and put it on my new one.
Would appreciate any help.

I suggest you start your iPhone 5S setup over from the very beginning.
Do that by erasing the entire contents of your iPhone 5S. Do Settings > General > Reset > Erase all content and settings. That will, in fact, erase your iPhone 5S. You will then start with the "Welcome" screen. Enter your WiFi and Apple ID information. You will then be given the opportunity to set up as new or to set up using the iPhone 4S. That is what you are looking for.

HT1212 Restoring on a new computer that the ipod has never been synced to is not working. Old computer is broke and trying to sync to the new one is not working. Help!

Passcode has been disabled and the computer it was synced to is no longer working. We have tried to sync to the new computer and it is not possible. Exactly what are the steps to do this. All our apple products are on our account, therefore, apple support should be able to see that there is nothing "suspect" going on. It is driving me insane not being able to reset/resync, whatever it's called when your locked out.

Place the iPod in Recovery mode and connect to the computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased. You can redownload iTunes purchases by:

Cisco SPA525g2 Date and time Not Synced with the PBX server

We have a couple of SPA525g2 phone connected and registered to our PBX server. We were able to configure 3 extensions on different lines of the phone. However, at times we were encountering issues with the other lines configured on the phone. There are times wherein 1 extension configured on the phone is having one way audio issue, but the other extensions configured on the same phone is working fine. and we have to reboot/reset the phone several times for all the extesions configured on the phone to work.
Also, whenever we reset the phone, the date and time will be way way behind the current date and time, eventhough we have already set the correct date and time before we reset the phone.
How can we resolve the one way audio issue on 1 or 2 extensions of the phone, while the other extensions configured to it is working fine?
How can we make the phone sync the date and time with the PBx server?
Any input and help regarding this issue is greatly appreciated...
Btw, date and time issue not sync with the PBX server is just happening on SPA525g2, we have other phones like SPA303, SPA504, and SPA232D/SPA302D. All other phones' date and time is in sync with the server even though we reset them except SPA525g2.

Losing music and movies while syncing with the new itunes 7!

Several times I have lost my movies and music when I have connected my ipod and it synced with itunes. I synced earlier in the day (or the day before in other cases) and it worked fine. I didn't change any options on the ipod. After I lose the files I click on my ipod in itunes and the sync check boxes have been unchecked. when I recheck the sync boxes it will reload all of my stuff but it is a hassel, especially if i'm in a hurry. I never had this problem with the earlier version of itunes. What is making it lose the files when I sync?

Are you syncing it to more than one computer? If so it is operating normally. If you want to sync to more than one, you must opt to Manually manage your music. If you opt to do this, then be sure you have a backup of your music somewhere other than your iPod as you might have to restore it.

I-pod classic 8Gb and synced with the new notebook. no artwork was transferred? Help please.

I have win7 64 bit, and when I tried installing the new update, it failed. I tried reinstalling and still no joy. I have attempted this several times. This is first time experiencing this. Is there a fix in the works?

I believe the update is flawed and should be re-evaluated by Apple and this update re-issued with different version #.

I just bought the new iPad over the weekend. Restored from the old iPad backup - got everything moved onto the new one gave the old one to my daughter - wiped my 4 email accounts off of the old device and then she proceeded to delete all but about 3 apps from the thing. It had no effect on my new iPad.

You are always at risk of losing your music. If you are worried about it now too it means you don't have a backup. Get one. Soon.

We have no way of telling from the information you give.
There are 9 different versions of iPhoto and they run on 10 different versions of the Operating System. The tricks and tips for dealing with issues vary depending on the version of iPhoto and the version of the OS. So to get help you need to give as much information as you can. Include things like:
- What version of iPhoto.
- What version of the Operating System.
- Details. As full a description of the problem as you can. For example, if you have a problem with exporting, then explain by describing how you are trying to export, and so on.
- History: Is this going on long? Has anything been installed or deleted? - Are there error messages?
- What steps have you tried already to solve the issue.
- Anything unusual about your set up? Or how you use iPhoto?
Anything else you can think of that might help someone understand the problem you have.
