I synch my iPad, iPhone4 and MacBookPro through ICloud. All calanders on iCal, except one, synch on my MacBook, although all others synch across all devices. I receive the following error message "The request (CalDAVAccountRefreshQueueableOperation) for account “iCloud” failed." with no idea how to remedy.

I've just noticed the same problem. My iCloud account had disappeared from the Calendar app. When I added it again, same error "The request (CalDAVAccountRefreshQueueableOperation) for account “iCloud” failed."

    Your documents were synched with iCloud when you logged in with your AppleID.   If you had a photostream before, you could access some photos using the stream.

    i had one for a long time, then when i got the ipad i didn't realize they would all still work under one so i set up the second one on that
    then when i got the new iphone i put in the info for the first and main one from my mac pro and it would not work at all, and i knew it was right, then it asked me to create a new one or i couldnt finish the setup
    hence why i have 3 now
    hard to believe you cannot combine into one
    oh well, i will just make them all accessible for all 3

    Thanks - I guess it is like there were two of me!
    I bought the iPhone first and it seemed natural to link it to the (work) e-mail address which was in constant use. The iMac for home use came next and it seemed natural to use my home e-mail address, particularly as I knew by then that I would lose the work address after my imminent retirement. The same logic went for the recent puchase of the MacAir. I am not sure what happened with the iPad (also a recent purchase) - iTunes seemed to puch me towards the same ID as the iPhone.
    It is not a huge problem - just makes my persona look schizoid! Otherwise very happy with everything Apple.

    Welcome to the Apple community.
    If you are unable to remember your password, security questions, don’t have access to your rescue address or are unable to reset your password for whatever reason, your only option is to contact Apple ID Support, upon speaking to an operator you should explain that your problem is related to your Apple ID, this way you will not be charged for assistance, even if you don’t have an AppleCare plan.
    The operator will take you through some steps you may have already tried, however they need to be sure they have exhausted all usual approaches before trying to reset your account, so you should try to be helpful and show patience with the procedure.
    The operator will need to verify they are speaking to the account holder and may ask you some questions that only the account holder could know, and you will need to answer them if the process is to proceed.
    Once the operator has verified your identity they will send a message through to your device which contains an alpha numeric code, which you will need to read back to them.
    Once this has been completed they will send an email to your iCloud email address after a period of 24 hours, so you should check that mail is enabled in your devices iCloud settings.
    Upon receipt of the email, use the reset link provided to reset your password, after which you should be able to make the adjustments to iCloud that you wish to do.

    Welcome to the Apple Community.
    Connect the device to iTunes on your computer (you can do this with a USB cable or by wifi if your software is up to date). Select your device from the 'Device' list in iTunes (Top right corner in iTunes 11) and navigate to the 'Photos' tab. Ensure that the 'Sync Photos' checkbox is checked, select the items you want on your device and click apply/sync.

    I just bought a used Macbook Pro to replace my Powerbook G4. I was hoping to be able to finally synch my iphone 4 to my computer, as well as run current versions of all my software etc, however... I'm having some problems.
    When I try to plug my iphone into the macbook, neither will detect the other.
    The macbook will detect other USB devices (midi controller etc) in Audio Midi Setup
    The phone does not get any power out of the USB (not charging)
    ITunes is the most current version (no updates available) 11.0.1
    Any suggestions?
    I've tried restarting the computer, then my iphone, while both are connected.
    I've tried several different iphone/ipod cables i have. All of which have worked with my Car's Audio System's USB input, and with my iphone wall charger, and even at least sent power to my Iphone via my powerbook g4 even though it couldn't connect to itunes with the older version.

    Possibly either damaged pins in the iPhone socket or a faulty USB cable.  Also, some computers do not provide enough power via the USB port to charge an IOS device.  What is the battery status indicator (top right of the display) showing when connected to your PC?
    Do you have access to another cable or a mains charger?

    You will need to do this via iTunes to start with as you need to copy your iTunes files to the new computer.
    If you have everything on your iPad you can select "transfer purchases..." when plugging your iPad into your new computer and in iTunes (right/ctrl click the iPad icon) after telling iTunes to not sync this iPad.
    Once the items are in the new iTunes then when it asks if you wish to sync to this new iTunes your items will be copied to the iPad again.
    However if you do not have all iTunes items on your iPad, then you will need to follow the instructions on to move iTunes first, then deal with your iPad.

  • I have an iPad 3 and Apple TV 3rd gen - all software up to date.  I can use airplay but there is no mirroring option available from the iPad 3.  Why?

    I have been able to get Airplay to work with my iPad 3 and 3rd Generation iPad TV, however there is no mirroring option when I hit the airplay icon - hence I can get audio, but no video.
    iPad software:  iOS 5.1.1
    Apple TV software:  5.0.2 (4250)
    Any thoughts as to what's going wrong?

    Are you enabling Airplay mirroring properly?
    Double click the Home button, scroll to the leftmost screen and under Airplay look to turn mirroring On.
