I think i just decided I hate my iphone what is up with photo options??

I am having such a hard time with the photo album, deleting, creating new folder, trying to delete pics outs of the cameral roll and I have transported a briefcase from my computer to iphone and now i cannot edit or delete it, also I am not able to view my pictures on my iphone in itunes also where is icloud on the web? no url

You'll have to reduce the size of the data you're trying to backup to iCloud, mainly photos inside the camera roll, I got the same "out of capacity" message after I imported all my photos from my Canaon 50D to my iPad. After importing them to my computer I was able to back up to iCloud again without buying additional space.

AIrplay to digital or analogue devices like speakers or hifi system is only available in Express. Or Apple TV.
The TC or Extreme will pass airplay protocol just fine to your ATV.
The Extreme and TC and now identical apart from the TC having an internal hard disk.

If i factory reset my ipod touch(5th gen), can i reset it as the option 'set up as new ipod', and then i can just go into the app store/itunes store and restore my music and apps and not icloud with photos and ect?

The reason i asked this question is because i have been wondering this a lot ever since i got an exchange on this ipod (and ive only had it for a few weeks now) because my last ipod had a lot of problems. so after i restored my ipod with my computer/itunes, i downloaded apps that i wanted, and then when i went to the storage to see how much storage was left, it said 0 bytes. i was freaking out because i didnt know how that could be, i mean, cause like, that is impossible when i just 'purchased' it, that the space was full but i looked and all my pictures were on this ipod and i already put them on my computer so i dont need them anymore thats why i wanna reset it now so there is nothing on it so i can have more space for stuff to do and download on it.
it is updated to iOS 8 but that happened when i purchased it, so i didnt have a choice to update it even though i didnt want to update to iOS 8...
and i hope you understand my problem..

Hey Sierra, You can do just what you have stated. My question, what is your "other"? If it is over 1.5 GB you most likely have corrupt files. Doing a Restore to New, Factory restore should correct it. Just make sure you make a full backup of all information on your iPod to your computer before you restore, so you don't lose your stuff, contacts, videos, pictures, non-iTunes music, etc, use the cable and connect with your computer. Then, via cable, connect to your computer, run the Restore to new, don't use your backup. Treat this iPod as if it was your first one ever. When restore is done, set up and add what info you wish to install on this iPod. The music apps etc you purchased should be on your computer, if not you should be able to retrieve purchased apps and music from iTunes. Any music, videos, apps not purchased from iTunes will be lost to you if you do not save them to your computer or the cloud first. When your done, make a current Backup and you should good to go. Try a system reset. It cures many ills and it's quick, easy and harmless...
Hold down the on/off switch and the Home button simultaneously until the screen blacks out or you see the Apple logo. Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it appears. You will not lose any apps, data, music, movies, settings, etc.
If the Reset doesn't work, try a Restore. Note that it's nowhere near as quick as a Reset. From iTunes, select the iPad/iPod and then select the Summary tab. Follow directions for Restore and be sure to say "yes" to the backup. You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finishes, you will be asked if you wish the contents of the backup to be copied to the iPad/iPod.

- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try another cable
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

It is NOT a bug. You provided a password. If you can't remember it, you can't restore your phone from backup. Very simple.

If by reset you mean you wiped the disk and reinstalled it, your only hope is a backup unless you had some things stored in iCloud. You could get the iCloud stuff back.

EMERGANCY! i think i just broke my ipod by changing the settings

Hi, im a little stuck with something.
I bought a laptop and my music is in iTunes on my home computer and alot more is on my laptop. I don't want to have to upload all that music on my new laptop as there is tons and some of it I don't have the CD to anymore.
ok so i followed itunes suport instructions by making my ipod not automatically upload songs from my home pc...so then i tried to connect it to my dell laptop and it didnt work so then i kinda gave up and then i pluged it back into my home computer and it didnt register that my ipod was pluged in either... its the original 15gb no click wheel and it took me forever to work and save up enough money to buy it... im stuck and i definately cannot afford to buy another one....i feel as if im gonna die...
my ipod is my life and i think i just messed it up
please help me!!

Go through the 5 R's on this page:

retest after every step and stop once you get it working. Post again if that does not fix your issue.

My MAC mini looses the wi-fi connection to a Belkin N wireless router when it goes to sleep or shut down. I have to re select the network when restarting or waking the computer up. I think this just started with Lion. My iPod and iPad have no trouble.

Thank you BGreg. That is what I have been doing, and then it works just fine. I think it was doing the same thing in the previous version of Lion. I may be incorrect about that. I upgraded to 10.7.3 a few weeks ago, and then last week I reloaded the combo update, hoping it would help. Not so. Thank you for letting me know it is a common problem. I have tried permissions in Disk Utilities, and in Macaroni, both at least 4 times, plus numerous restarts. Nothing Improves. It still can not find the internet when it wakes up or gets up.

Hi everyone, I had this problem but none of the solutions above worked. What happened with me, and with others in other forums, is that a particular thread or message was causing the problem. I'd go to open the message and all I'd get was a white screen with the blue bar at the top. So, I went into contacts, pressed 'send message' to a contact whose message wasn't causing the problem, then I pressed back to messages. You then swipe to the left on the thread that's causing the problem, and delete it. Sadly this means you will lose all that person's messages, but you can try opening it from there and deleting it on the thread. Didn't work for me though. Hope that helps! It was the only thing that worked for me after about three days of total frustration and resetting!

If u want decent HP laptop get either probook or elitebook , and dont go for amd/radeon they are junk.
If u want laptop which will run forever , buy Intel I3/I5/I7 processor and Intel HD graphics version.

i was strolling through my email on yahoo and saw an .exe file...i ran the virus scanner that comes with yahoo and accidentally clicked and downloaded it while on my safari browser, apparently it came up clean but you never know because .exe files can stay hidden for days. The file was sent from an android phone i believe. it was supposed to be an image file from the looks of it im not too sure. But i just deleted the file as fast as i could and then emptied my trash can hoping it would be gone for good. i tend to use paypal a lot on my computer and i want to make sure that it is 100% safe to use and my password wont be compromised. is there any advice anyone would have for me? Can an .exe file compromise a macbook computer? Is my computer safe to use?

A small correction to wuzradioman's notes.
.exe files don't just load software onto PC computers. An .exe is a Windows program application. Just as if you were launching a Mac program in the OS X Applications folder.
An .exe can load software onto a PC, but that's just a program to install the actual program you want to use onto the hard drive. Macs do the same thing. A .dmg is just a container. It doesn't do anything after opening it until you either drag the application out of the .dmg to your hard drive (doesn't have an installer app), or you run the installer in the .dmg to get the actual app onto your drive.
Getting an .exe to run on a Mac takes a lot more than "a few conniptions". You need to be running Windows on your Mac in order to run a Windows .exe program. Without Windows itself, an .exe is completely useless on a Mac and can't run in any way. Just trash it.

Pretty much. Except that Apple will replace it for a fixed fee that is far less than the cost of a new phone. In the US the replacement cost for an iPhone 4 is $149. It is comparable in the UK. Unless you can prove that the fault was present at the time of purchase. A switch wearing out would probably be considered normal wear and tear, not a "fault".
