I think I just screwed up my ipod please help
All right I recently bought an external usb hard drive since my computer was almost ouot of space. I moved my ipod library over to it and for some reason every song was duplicated ,some multiple times, and about 1,000 songs are missing. Also now it says i have t o erase and sync because my ipod is synced with another library. I still have all my songs and playlists on my ipod so how can I just restore my ipod library to my hard drive and have that be my itunes library that will sync with my ipod?

did you make sure that no one else is using your connection to the internet, or maybe you just had another program working?!?!

Hi, I have just bought another ipod, I have now a 60GB video ipod and a new 8GB ipod. Does it pose any problem when synchronising ? Can they have different names ? ThksYou can name your iPod whatever you like. If you are connecting a second iPod for your own use, just connect it to your computer and it will update from your existing library. Depending on the size of your library and the type of iPod you choose you can have it update the whole library, selected playlists or you can manage it manually.
When using a small capacity iPod like the Nano with a large library, you can choose the update option "automatically update selected playlists only" (called Sync Music - All songs and Playlists in iTunes 7). This would allow you to create a playlist specifically for your Nano and drag the tracks you want into it. If you tire of the list and want to change it, you just add or remove the songs you don't want. The ones you take out out remain in the library to be used by the other iPod. Make your playlist a Smart playlist and limit the size to just below the advertised capacity of your iPod Nano (around 3700MB for a 4GB or 1800MB for a 2GB). My iPad has been stolen. Someone broke into my house on Tuesday. I have already tried locking it through icloud. I have reported this to the authorities but they cannot do much unless I give them the serial number to the iPad. With the serial number they can put it into a database and send that inormation to pawn shops, so i the theie tries to pawn it, the pawn shop employeee can convscate the iPad and hand it over to the authorites. I need the serial number to report it to the authorities. I dont have the box it came in or the receipt and its not on my itunes on the computer because I didnt use it or music, just pictures. Can someone please help??? btw, some words are misspelled becasue the letter that comes ater the letter E, doesnt work on my keybord.

I am trying to sync my songs in iTunes to my iphone4S, its running on IOS 7.3( the recent update) it just does not sync. I can see the songs in my library but they just don't transfer. Please help!

click on the store tab on the top left of iTunes. Scroll to where it says "Authorize this computer...". Click on that and enter your apple id and password then click authorize. The reason iTunes says that your computer needs to be authorized is because it is to be sure that iTunes knows can trust your new computer

The reset link will only send reset info to your rescue email address, an alternate email address is not used for account security. If you don't know what your rescue email address is (you won't be able to view/change it until you can answer your questions) then you will need to contact iTunes Support / Apple in your country to get the questions reset.

Just bought new video ipod need help
Hey everyone...
Yesterday I bought a new 30gig black video ipod.
Using some programs i bought on the internet, i was able to convert the movie "Animal House" to MP4 and put it on itunes.
The computer I did this on was my brothers computer since my computer does not read DVDs... I thought once the movie was in his itunes and in his library, I could simply drag the movie from his library to my ipod but it is not working. I do not know how else to get the movie onto my ipod.
