Hi all.
First post but it might be an easy one to solve.
I have recently moved to a new house where the exchange was upgraded to 21CN earlier in December.  I think I have been connected on ADSL Max but as I am pretty close to the exchange I think I would benefit from ADSL2+.  The BT sales site says I should be able to receive 17Mbps but as you can see I am getting around 7 Mbps.  The 10 day training period completed on 27 December.

I called BT on 151 who said that it initially it would be possible to  change to a faster product but then after being on hold for about 30mins came back to say that it wouldn't because I have 2 numbers at my address - this is not the case.  I did change numbers due to nuisance calls but do not have 2 lines. I have therefore hit a bit of a brick wall.
I should also add that I am pretty sure the exchange upgrade took place before I was connected - therefore not sure why I should need to re-contract (if that is an option).
Does anyone have any advice?  Is this perhaps one for the Mods here on the forum?  I would like to get what I am paying for!!
Many thanks
Ed

It can take several weeks to several months after an exchange is upgraded before all lines are moved over to ADSL2+ you have two choices wait your turn in the Queue and get a free upgrade or recontract to jump the queue
