I think I've locked my VI !

I wrote a VI and I changed the settings to startup when runned.
The debug, run, and other buttons are all removed.
I have only an EXIT knob programmed that exits LabVIEW completely.
I think, I cannot edit my code (block diagram) anymore since I open the
VI,
it automatically executes, end when I press the exit know, LabVIEW is
shut down.
Is it possible, that I can lock myself out of the block diagram in this
way??
Kristof

Yes, it`s Control period (or control fullstop if you`re not american)
Perhaps you mave mistakenly tried "control +" instead of "control ." ?
It works for me always.

Hi, Ahmed..., and welcome to the Community,
Simply stated, if your device's IMEI is locked, nothing will work - please contact your carrier to resolve this issue, first.

When I go to my iTunes icon it comes up and goes away think I'm locked out

I think that being signed into your apple.com account but with Safari first and foremost would be better as that would allow an Apple cookie to be set down onto an integral proprietary application (yes the Safari browser - go figure). Then (that is secondarily) you should sign into iTunes and have (more reliable) fun.
Google's motto was "Do No Evil" was it not? So do you honestly believe that their primary business interests and application performance jives with that of Apple? Sometimes yes, other times...no. Sorry, just sayin.

  • Time machine thinks disk is locked

I am having a significant issue.
Earlier today I was trying Chronosync which was backing up to my extreme harddrive.
In this time, time machine decided to do the same to the same drive and threw up an error saying the disk was locked.
After chronos finished I tried time machine again and now its not having any of it. It takes about an hour of saying 'preparing disk' before eventually deciding the disk is locked (It absolutely is not locked.)
Any ideas how to fix this one?

Are these backing-up to the same partition, or different ones?
If the same partition, that's not a good idea (see #3 in the Frequently Asked Questions *User Tip* at the top of this forum).
Either way, try turning off both TM and Chronosync. Eject, disconnect, and power down the drive for a few moments. Then reconnect and run +*Repair DIsk+* (not permissions) on it via Disk Utility (in your Applications/Utilities folder).

  • I can't remember my password and I think I have locked myself out.

I was sick for several days and was on medication that made me forgetful. I tried to log in to my email account and I think I used several different passwords because I could not remember mine, or I typed in errors. Now I am not able to log in and get my emails since October 23 or 24. I need to get my emails, and I need to reset my password.

Contact your email provider about resetting your password. Thunderbird has nothing to do with administering email passwords.
Go to your providers help page and look for a link to to reset your password.

  • My iPod Touch is locked and frozen. Can anyone help me? :(

So I have an 8gb iPod Touch 1 generation. My ipod touch has a frozen screen and all it shows is the iTunes logo with the small white arrow and usb cord. I also think it is locked, plus I forgot my password . Anyways I connected my ipod touch to my pc (window xp) and itunes says that "iTunes could not connect to the iPod Touch because it is locked with a password. You must enter your password on the ipod before it can be used with itunes". The reason i connected it was to see if i can restore it but i guess it didnt work. Oh and one other thing my home button is not working, I guess its stuck.

to put it in dfu mode power off the power off the device by any means necessary. Once turned off, you should first press and hold the Home Button. Then, while holding the home button, connect the dock conector to the device and keep holding the home button untill an iTunes message appears that says "iTunes has detected an device in recovery mode."
With DFU mode, the steps are the same except, you would also hold the sleep wake button and the home button before connecting the device to the computer. Then connect the cable to the device and let go of only the sleep/wake button at the top of the device.
This method differs depending on the device and the person you talk to, but for me, this works when needed if the above steps are followed.

  • 30 GB recognized by itunes, new 80 GB locks up itunes...help please

i have a 30 gb video ipod, works great no problems at all. i connect it to my computer and it connects with itunes just fine. ive downloaded the updates, and everything is perfect. i got a new 80 GB video ipod, and i try and connect it to itunes, my computer recognizes it, itunes begins to think, and then locks up.
i then restart itunes by ending the program (ctrlaltdel)
then reopen itunes, plug in the 30 GB works fine, coneects perfectly, plug in the 80 GB itunes begins to think, then locks up.
i took it back to the store thinking bad hard drive on the ipod. return home, try plugging in the 80 GB, exact same thing! these lockups are driving me nuts!
    any suggestions?!?!?
gateway   Windows XP   brand new works great!

oh also. i forgot a few things. first, itunes completely stopped recognizing my ipod, so i can't change my name back to what it used to be.. every time i try to plug it in, the same error message comes up.
and, also, when i said "it had me download the software updater, but that didn't do anything and it still doesn't register" i mean that its still not being recognized by itunes.
when i looked at the link for restoring factory settings, it didn't make sense to me. i couldnt do the first steps because itunes isn't recognzing anything... i downloaded the updater it told me to, but it wouldn't let me do the whole "start" "run" thing, and i'm not really sure how to do that or how its relevant to what i downloaded, so if whoever helps me out on this could either clarify those instructions or give me different ones, i'd appreciate it.
    sorry this is so long-winded.
I just got this last week, i'm kinda sad/annoyed that i'm having problems already.
thanks for any help in advance.

  • Differeence between Lock object and enqueue_e_table

    Hi  ,
what is diff between Lock object and enque_e_table.  Where to use enqueue_e_table and where to use lock object.
I think with a lock object i can lock more than one table (passing tables  in secondary table). Please correct me.

A lock object does not really "lock a table" though most of lock objects refer to a database table.
    I explain:
The principle is that when 2 programs lock at the same time with the same lock object, only the first will succeed.
If you have a program which does not use the lock, it may update the database table without any problem.
All programs which update a table have to use the same lock object. Note that users are always able to update this table via SM30 as they don't know the lock object to be used.
enqueue_xxxx is the name of the generated function module used to lock the xxxx lock object. E_TABLE lock is ONLY used by SM30 if I remember well, so that to prevent one table from being updated via SM30 by 2 persons at the same time. But it is not related at all with programs which would also update this table.

  • Enq: TX - row lock contention in AWR reports

    Dears,
One of my friends asked me to give him a help on analyzing a performance problem they are experimenting from time to time. First of all I am sorry to tell you that he didn’t gave me a lot of information. I will share with you all what I have been sent and would like to have your precious advice according to the available information.
It is a third party software installed on oracle data base 10.2.0.4.0. He said that from time to time the application hangs. He sends me an AWR reports supplied by the local DBA. Unfortunately, the local DBA send only the AWR information he thinks are most important to be looked at (he did not include the load profile and the instance efficiency Percentages part in this AWR for example).
Here below is the available information I can share with you

    UPDATE xxxx.table1

           col3 = :3,
           col4 = :4,

           ON t1.id = t4.id
    WHERE t1.col1 = :1
AND   t1.col2 IN (:2,:3, :4);And finally in the Segments by Row Lock Waits part of the AWR I have this:
Owner      tablespace name    object name   object type   row lock waits   %of capture
xxxx          xxxx          table1         TABLE          54       100    There are no bitmap indexes on this OLTP data base. There are no unindexed foreign keys and it seems that there are no selects done over a dblink.
I am waiting to have the table table1 script and its indexes
Given those information I think that the locking problem is due to this update on table table1 which is not followed immediately by a commit or a rollback. But, instead, several selects that might be taking a long time are done before reaching the commit that ends the lock on the table table1
What do you think about the possible reason of this lock?
    Thanks in advance

  • Locking PCA Posting

    Hello experts,
One of my manager is asking to lock postings for PCA (Profit Center Accounting) on periodic basis. He is asking just like OB52 in FI and OKP1 in CO locking based on the periods.
Just like if you check for month Jan, Feb ,March etc automatically it locks for posting respective transactions. I have checked the transaction code which SAP is provided. But there is no transaction code like that to provide such functionality. This requirement is for audit purpose.
I have  checked the options  like Validation and Substitutions to lock the posting fecility for PCA on periodic basis. Can any body come across the same situation like this ? Please throw some light on this. For right and correct answer award of points will be provided immediately.
Please dont think this is locking Profit center. This requirement is to lock PCA Profit Center Accounting on periodic basis.
    Solution and help is appreciated.
    Regards,
    Mark Simpson

    Hi Meenakshi,
Thanks for your help and i would like to ask you one question on this .
I have found one table TKA00PCA  which is not having two additional required fields for our client purpose to use new fields date from and date to to restrict PCA poisting based on month basis ( example: jan,Feb etc...) .
We have an idea to append structure for above table with fields
    (1) Date From
    (2) Date To
and restrict the PCA posting using transaction code 1KEF .
Please let me know if appending structure to table TKA00PCA is going to impact on any other areas ?
Right now i am not able to lock PCA postings based on monthwise but only year basis using transaction 1KEF .
Is there any way to do above requirement to lock with months and as well as year ? Please let me know on this and appreate your help .
    Thanks & Regards,
    Mark

  • [SOLVED]Lock screen in Gnome freezes X

Hi, everyone. When the screen locks on my laptop it freezes the entire X. It tries to dim the screen before the lock and in the middle of the process it freezes. The desktop stays "half visible". The mouse works, but Gnome doesn't react to anything. I need to enter the init 3 level and go back to 5. This is really annoying since it makes it impossible to work normally and I have to constantly think about not locking the screen.
This is my VGA controller according to lspci:
VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation 2nd Generation Core Processor Family Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 09)
I tried to check for errors in .xssession-errors but it is impossible to find anything of importance there since it's full of davmail errors etc.
I've searched the forums but only found some issues regarding old kernel versions and I'm on the latest (3.4.4-2).
    Any ideas?

I'm experiencing the same issues, on a desktop, since this morning.
I have an NVIDIA Corporation GF108 [GeForce GT 440] (rev a1)  (as stated by lspci), and I have all the new updates for nouveau, X, and libdrm. I had my PC up for a long time and had to reboot, so I'm not sure which kernel I was running before I started having this issue, but I'm on 3.4.4-2-ARCH now. I suspect it was from the update from 3.3.8 to 3.4.4.
Is rolling the kernel back a good idea? Thanks for any help.
I'm not sure if kernel downgrade would help you since we still haven't identified the problem (we don't know if it's kernel related). But you could try and get back to us with the results...
