I think I was just bought by ruby.

I have been looking mostly into learning python as my first real language, mainly for webbased stuff and a few mostly cli apps I am interested in making. After looking at ruby though, I saw ruby on rails, and downloaded the video on making a blog engine, my main interest in learning to program. Needless to say the speed and usability of it impressed me greatly. I never thought any language could look so good, and seem so simple.
The main program I am interested in writing is a simple flat text file blogging engine, for use with the website I have in development. After that, I want to extend it with a ruby written web app that makes a photogallery from uploaded pictures with automatic thumbnails and resizing. And after that, probably a very lightweight and simple webforum, supporting image uploading, registered only posting, personal messages, membergroups (for sensitive or paid for information) and simple skinning, along with basic features like avatars, postcount+rankings and titles, and signatures. A lot of work I understand, but with a language liek that, how can it not be fun?

I don't like traditional languages, and until ruby (which I am progressing with quite well) I was never able to get the concepts to stay in my head, ruby makes me feel better
I have used several application built with rails and ruby, and they are very fast, so I don't get what you are saying about slowness, it's like people calling python slow. It is slower when executed as a script usually, but when compiled to byte-code there is usually no visible difference.
Ruby writes mah scripts! I am working on one for filetypes (like the coding challenge, but I probably won't have a good enough level of completeness by then to enter) It seems like it'll be just as fast as bash scripting.
I suppose you should edjumacate yourself before you go spouting words of anti-rubiness (hehe, I'm a defender of it already )

To add to what Stonerock has mentioned, you can either create Playlists in your iTunes Library, containing exactly what you want, and then Sync them to your iPod, or you can use the iPod Classic's On-The-Go feature.
Reading between the lines, I'm going to assume for now that you want to be able to create your preferred listening list while "out and about" - so not near your iTunes library. (You have posted in iPod Classic, after all.) You can do this with the On-The-Go Playlist.
Look in the Playlists menu on the iPod. It probably contains the Recently Added, Recently Played and other pre-made Playlists that you see in your iTunes Library. At the bottom of the Playlists list, is the On-The-Go showing 0 Songs. Scroll down to it and press the Select (centre) button. The screen will give you instruction on adding songs to the On-The-Go Playlist.
Basically, if you press-and-hold the Select (centre) button, while highlighting a song, the song title will blink as it is added to the On-The-Go Playlist. Try it, then go back to Playlists/On-The-Go and notice that it will now say 1 Song. (Note, you cannot add a "now playing" song to the On-The-Go Playlist.) Repeat this for every song you want to have in the list. You can also look in the Albums menu, highlight the album title and press-and-hold that to add the complete album to your On-The-Go Playlists with one press. So if you add the two albums to your On-The-Go Playlist, you can then listen to just those two albums.
To shuffle the songs, turn on Shuffle on your iPod. Either, go into Settings/Shuffle and press the Select button to toggle between Off/Songs/Albums, or on the Now Playing screen, press the Select button three times to reach the Shuffle option, where you use the scroll wheel to move between Off/Songs/Albums, press the Select button to activate it.
Having added songs to the On-The-Go Playlist, go into it and notice the list of songs and options to Save Playlist (New Playlist 1) or Clear Playlist. If you use Sync to manage your iPod (and that really is the best way by the way), the next Sync will transfer any unsaved On-The-Go and any New Playlist Xs that you have, back to your iTunes Library. You can even remove any song from the current On-The-Go Playlist by highlighting it (in the On-The-Go, obviously) and press-and-holding the Select button.

Have not heard of that but here is what I would do - test after each step to see if the problem is solved
1. Restart or reset your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support
2. If that does not work - back up to iTunes and restore to factory settings
3. Check to see if the problem is resolved before restoring from backup

The App Store will permit you to purchase Mountain Lion regardless of whether your MacBook Pro already had it installed when it shipped from Apple.
If you bought Mountain Lion from the App Store, you will be able to install it on as many additional Macs as you may have. If you only have the one Mac and have no plans to acquire any others that did not ship with Mountain Lion, then there was no need to purchase another copy.

I just bought an album but the music is no where to be found yet the money was from my account like if it was purchased. How do i get my music?

I just bought an album but a screen came up saying that i need to verify my account through security questions. Initially I didnt get the answers right to the questions so itunes locked me out. When i went to see if the music downloaded, it didnt. But from the amount left on my giftcard, it's clear that the album had been bought. I looked in the "downloaded" section and cant find this album. I even tried rebuying the album to see if it would resume its download but it was going to completely rebuy it.
Please help me receive the music I bought.

Contact iTunes Customer Service, and request an exchange. Nobody wants the Clean versions, and everybody knows it. The Clean versions are only in the Store to give parents of young kids a warm fuzzy feeling.
The stats may show that some people buy the Clean versions, but in fact 99% of those cases are people who got it by mistake, just like yourself.

If a restore to factory settings did not resolve the issue, it's a likely indicator of a hardware fault, meaning you'll need to or want to set up an appointment at your local Apple Store/Genius Bar.

I ended up smashing my phone and could update all other stuff on restore but cant sync any music. It is all grey at the top of the screen. Ive re installed itunes and cleared all phone data. I'm having a similar problem. I had previously (over a year ago) purchased 2 episodes of Law & Order. Then about 2 months ago, I purchased the 3rd season of Sons of Anarchy. When I downloaded these episodes to my iPad, about a dozen full seasons of various shows popped up, too. Yes - I connected my phone to my computer / Itunes and went into the apps section, but from there I have no idea how to manage the push notifications. I even tryied going into itunes that is installed on my phone. I still cannot find anyplace to manage these popups. That's only for the iPhone 5. On the 4 and 4S, they can repair the back glass in store for $30. They will not replace the display on a 4 or 4S. They must replace the entire phone. Replacing the display on them requires disassembling the entire phone, which they will not do in store.

I just bought a new Macbook Pro 15" with SSD 256 Gb and its almost a brand-new (the 4th time to use the device) a while ago i was trying to connect to my home wireless network it said that the connection is timed out so i clicked the airport sign on the top it said that your airport is not configured then I restarted the system but it didn't restarted it showed the grey screen with the apple logo and the spinning wheel for more than 10min so I tried the force shutdown by pressing the power button till it switched off I waited for 5min then pressed the power button to start or boot the system and again the grey screen with the apple logo and the spinning wheel, I waited for more than 20min nothing changed, any solution please?

Thanks a lot i followed the instructions for safe mode (i found out that i was pressing the C button after restarting) i did whats written there but the repair couldn't be performed so in addition i needed to re-formate the HD so i erased the volume and then repaired the disk--> quite disk utilities --> start the installation from the installation DVD.

I am assuming the phone was working prior to you installing IOS 6? Did you use itunes to install IOS 6 or just run from the phone?
When I tried to do the Over The Air update to IOS6 on my iPhone 4, it errored out and I had to connect it to iTunes and select "Restore" from the summary screen after iTunes finds the phone is connected. If this works for you, it will go through a couple of reboots that take a few minutes to complete. It should then give you the option to start with a fresh new phone or to use one of your previous backups to load your contacts and other information, provided you have backed up the phone previously.
