I think my icloud has been hacked and someone is seeing my text messages

I think that my icloud or iphone has been hacked.  I think that someone is seeing my text messages that shouldn't be.  How can I tell or how do I fix it

Text messages are not sent to Apples icloud so not possible there.
If you are using Verizon's messaging there may be a way to view your text messages from a computer and another device on your account. But you have to turn on Verizon's integrated messaging and the person must have your password to view them from the web.

    I just got my first iPhone. I use iCloud. Today my mother said she started receiving emails with my name from a Yahoo email addess. I don't have a Yahoo account. Also, the only way they'd know that I send emails to my mother is through iCloud. Has this happened to anyone else. I've immediately changed my Apple User ID password.     The note is a little confusing but:
    This sounds like phishing and has nothing to do with your Apple ID or iCloud.
    Any one who knows your mothers email address or guessed at it can set-up a yahoo account using your name.

    I have been getting fake FB msg via my cloud although it says its coming from gmail.  I have changed passwords on all email and icloud accounts but the msgs keep coming if i turn the icloud mail back on my phone.  I have checked to see if anything was set up to forward but I can't find any trace of anyone.
    Please help!

    The msgs only show up on my iphone not on my icloud mail account, gmail or hotmail accounts when i log in on my laptop.  They only come through on my iphone. I have no way to block them if its just spam but I can't imagine how it could be spam.....

    Because of the inaccessibility to the web. Also, my Verizon account has someone else as the account owner. It just seems that something else has control of or access to my phone. Being asked the way you did really made me force myself to put to words what's wrong. That's just it, I can't put my finger on it. I must sound nutty.

    I think my iphone has been hacked ... how can I know for sure... I believe they may have gotten my contacts.... who knows what else?

    I was also hacked this week on my 4S.  As improbable as everyone at Apple may say, it did happen.  I am pretty good with technology.  My kids had my iPhone 7 years old and they went to a website that without my knowing, allowed so done to take control of my device.  I had the phone on charging and connected via wifi.  I heard in the middle of the night someone talking and then a fax machine but thought I was dreaming. I turned over and went back to sleep not looking at my phone. 
    Next morning I wake up and the screen is on maps?  I panicked and realized a bunch of SMS txts and also some emails went out. In checking my call log, bingo... A bunch of calls over a 4 hour period.  I started to delete anything suspect but really didn't know what to do. I then called all my banks and credit card accounts to out them on high alert.
    I called apple and they begin to say that this is a software glitch, clearly they were not listening.  I went to the apple store and spoke with a supposed genius who suggested the same thing.  Finally, I explained it to a level 2 person and they suggested wiping the phone clean by resetting it and reinstalling everything fresh.  I still have no way of knowing what was accessed or downloaded and more scary, neither does apple.
    When I asked if there was an app, they couldn't suggest anything saying that by default the iPhone is secure and encrypted yet here I am with a remote accessed situation on my hands.
    Any ideas... Anyone?

    If you are unable to remember your password, security questions, don’t have access to your rescue address or are unable to reset your password for whatever reason, your only option is to contact AppleCare (or Apple ID Support), upon speaking to an operator you should explain that your problem is related to your Apple ID, this way you will not be charged for assistance, even if you don’t have an AppleCare plan.
    The operator will take you through some steps you may have already tried, however they need to be sure they have exhausted all usual approaches before trying to reset your account, so you should try to be helpful and show patience with the procedure.
    The operator will need to verify they are speaking to the account holder and may ask you some questions that only the account holder could know, and you will need to answer them if the process is to proceed.
    Once the operator has verified your identity they will send a message through to your device which contains an alpha numeric code, which you will need to read back to them.
    Once this has been completed they will send an email to your iCloud email address after a period of 24 hours, so you should check that mail is enabled in your devices iCloud settings.
    Upon receipt of the email, use the reset link provided to reset your password, after which you should be able to make the adjustments to iCloud that you wish to do.

    Unless you are using a very simple password that might be easy to guess, the chances that someone has cracked your network are very small.
    The password is changed using AirPort Utility, an administrative application for the AirPort routers.
    What device did you use to set up the AirPort Extreme originally? If you have a Mac, we'll need to know what operarting system it is using if you want step by step instructions on how to change the password.
    Click the Apple icon in the upper left corner of the screen, then click About This Mac. Post back with the OS X Version number that you see there.

    Have you contacted your card issuer to cancel that card and changed your iTunes account password ?     My account has been hacked and my credit card charged by the hacker and all Skype has to say about it, is that I need to wait 72 hours for them to look at my query? I cannot log into my account. I have filled in the support form, but I haven't received an email notification from Skype that I have submitted it. I'm guessing that's because my account is now in the use of someone else, as the hacker changed the account over to his email address. I know he did that, as I got a notification of changing the email address at the same moment as I was logged out of Skype.  I use Skype professionally and this issue is causing me a world of trouble. The fact that Skype is a paid service ought to mean that there is better support than 'we will look at it within 72 hours.' 

    So nearly 24 hours later, and still no information either in this forum or via email notification from Skype.  Does this mean that Skype is instead communicating with the person who hacked my account? Since the hacker now has my account registered with their email address, It seems that's the most likely situation, given the unparallelled course of incompetence I'm experiencing from them.  If Skype had taken action on this right away (the moment I made the complaint, which was minutes after my account was hacked) the charge that the hacker made on my credit card would not be lost due to his usage of my account. But apparently, stopping fraud is so low on Skype's agenda that this can go on and on. If I had not been on Skype when it happened (prompting me to instantly block my credit card) there would have been nothing to stop the hacker from making multiple charges to my card, potentially running into the hundreds of dollars.  Instead of action to deal with my problems, I'm receiving notifications that I have earnt 'a new rank' in the Skype community. Whoop-dee-bleedin'-doo!

    What they do is up to them, but loss prevention may include suspending that Apple ID for purchases until such time the fraud is rectified. They may pursue the thief for chargebacks and fines from the issuing bank and take whatever other legal action they deem appropriate. In any event none of that involves you, presuming it's not your job to investigate criminal activity. As long as your payment method continues to be accepted by Apple, you don't have to do anything else.
    Changing your Apple ID password once in a while is a good idea though, and if Apple wants to compel you do so you will find out when you attempt to log in here or make a purchase. Be wary of "phishing" and never click on any links in an email that may appear to be from Apple, as authentic as it may seem. This is a popular way of stealing Apple IDs and all that it entails.
