i cant remember how to shut down open apps - i did it last time my phone wasn't working properly and it solved the issue
Your phone is not overloaded by open apps. Very few, if any, of the recent apps list you are thinking of are open.

If you restored to factory settings without help, your phone has a hardware problem or was hacked/jailbroken at some point. Take it to Apple for evaluation. There is nothing further you can do.

Forgot pass code so I backed up, updated and now won't restore because icloud is open. I cant get in to turn it off! Help

After getting a new phone, I backed up my old one and then started the new one as a restoration of the backup. Can't use any apps. I've tried deleting, syncing, restoring, purchasing a new app, still doesn't let me open an app.
Firstly, you will have to check what was the iOS version that you had during the backup of your old iPhone. Please let me know if you are not able to open default apps or all the apps? Also, let me know what happens if you are trying to open apps?

Iphone 3gs will not open apps after upgrading to ios 4.3.3
I upgraded my iPhone 3gs to iOS 4.3.3 last night and now it won't open apps that aren't original iPhone apps. The apps open for just a second and then it goes directly back to my homescreen. Any suggestions?

Iphone 6 plus - phone opens apps and loses screen sensitivity
I purchased an Iphone 6 plus 128gb. I have setup the phone and it has a habit of opening random apps, loses keyboard sensitivity and generally does what it wants. Is this an issue with the software, hardware or both. I found my Iphone 5 much more stable. I have completed a full reset to try and sort the issue out but it appears to remain. why does the phone seem to have a mind of its own. It will open apps even when I am not touching the screen.
I would back it up to iTunes and then restore to factory settings and see if the problem recurs before restoring from back up. If it does then I would bring the phone into an Apple Store for service.

You don't. Either remember it or delete all of your existing iPhone backups, as you won't be able to use any of them.

If you set your iphone to manually manage on the summary screen, you can drag and drop what you want to the iphone and delete directly from the iphone.
The option to manually manage is on the summary screen when you connect the iphone to itunes.

On start-up, my bluetooth opens up on the taskbar. It has never done this before. I dont use any wireless devices. How do I shut it? It keeps popping up on start-up.
