I think my iPod 2nd generation was stolen. What can I do to locate it?
My iPod is sort of old and I couldn't sign it up for, find my iPhone. So is there any other way I could use to locate its location?
I don't think it has "Find my iPod"
So it's probably impossible to locate it.

If you set up the Find My iPod service prior to the iPod going missing, then there is a chance that can be tracked, though it depends on a number of factors (the iPod is turned on, connected to a WiFi network, and has not had the Find My iPod service disabled). The only way to track your phone is if you had find my iphone installed and activated, then you go to icloud.com log in and track your phone.
If you didn't set it up then there no way to track it.
Not sure what facetime has to do with your stolen phone. -

For Find My Phone to work, you must first turn it on in Settings > iCloud before the iPhone is stolen, and the iPhone MUST be turned on and connected with the Internet. If not, it is not possible to locate it. Report the theft to the police, change all passwords associated with accounts on the iPhone, contact your carrier in case the can blacklist it.

The cleaning staff stole my ipod at a hotel that I was staying in. The manager will not cooperate because he is not happy that we are indirectly accusing his staff of stealing my ipod. Is there anything I can do to track the ipod? It is a 2nd or 3rd generation touch.

i just recently upgraded my phone and got the iphone 5C and three days later someone stole it, the worker my mom got it from didnt ask her if she wanted insurance since it was packed, and iv waited three years to finally upgrade and when the cops said they couldnt do anything i was ******.

Thanks in advance.If the carrier has blocked the IMEI, all that means is that the iPhone will not be able to connect to the cell network. That does not prevent someone from accessing the data or trying to hack the iPhone to work around the block. If you set a passcode on the screen lock, that makes it more difficult for someone to use the iPhone without erasing your information, but it's not impossible.
In any case, there's nothing you can do about it now, not unless you set up Find My iPhone and it can locate the iPhone in which case you can let the police know the reported location and, if you wish, wipe the iPhone (note though that if you wipe it, you will get no further location information). Change all passwords to online services you had set up or used from the iPhone.

You can only locate your device when it is logged into iCloud and 'Find My Phone' is enabled, additionally the device will need to be switched on and connected to a wifi or cellular network.
Unfortunately, you cannot activate iCloud or 'Find My Phone' remotely.
If the device is wiped by you or another, you may not be able to locate the device (although some have reported they can)
If the device is unable to connect to a cellular or wifi network for whatever reason then all you can do is physically look for it.
You should also change the passwords on any Apple ID's you have in use on the device. If the phone is suspected to have been stolen, report it to the Police (if you have insurance ask for a crime reference number). You should also contact your provider to have your number locked. -

Nope - AppleCare is for a specific machine. When you purchase a new one you'll need to purchase AppleCare again.
I would also recommend getting (if you don't already have) homeowners/renters insurance which will cover stolen articles.

Yes. If it was signed out from iCloud, it will disappear from the Devices list in Find my iPhone.
