I think someone might be hacking into my account. I changed my password a few times, but I am not entirely sure what I should do next...
Does anyone know what I can do next and what I should do in the future?
Thank you so much!
Turn off any option to 'auto' save or enter you password. Remove your billing info from iTunes.
Follow the rules as 1 capital letter, lower case letters, numbers, and symbols for your password. Generate a good solid password using those suggestions.
ie: I am a tree hugger can be - Imatr33hu66er! - an no - do not use this suggestion as a password.

<E-mail Edited by Host>It may well be a fake. One such phish claims that some purchases have been made and asks you to sign into your account to confirm or report the problem. If that's what the email you received says, it's almost certainly a fraud. To see what's really been purchased through your iTunes Store account, check your purchase history:
http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2727
If these purported purchases don't show up there, then the email is a scam.
For future issues, please be aware that you are not communicating with Apple when you post in these forums. These are user-to-user support forums, so in almost all cases the only people who will reply to your posts are, like me, your fellow users.

My hotmail email account has been hacked into. I've changed my email password and hope this fixes the problem. Will my iMac system software now be infected and if so what should I do about it? Everything appears to be working ok. Is there a free to use software package available on the web, totally secure and reliable, which can scan my iMac for viruses and fix them if any are found.
Unless you have installed anything, you are fine.
You may find this User Tip on Viruses, Trojan Detection and Removal, as well as general Internet Security and Privacy, useful:
https://discussions.apple.com/docs/DOC-2435
Bear in mind that from April to December 2011 there were only 58 attempted security threats to the Mac - a mere fraction compared to Windows malware:

(I have ClamXav set to scan incoming emails, but nothing else.) -
So someone seems to have hockey my browser and has changed all my settings in my Firefox someone seems to be able to uninstall my firefox browser and change all my settings and pair my mobile phone to a computer through Firefox to sync all my information my mobile to computer that I have not done I don't own a computer just think my information to sync my information. Do you have any suggestions about what I should do on this ? I don't know where to go or turn on the security issue. thank you
Is your Firefox for Android currently connected to a Firefox Sync account? If so, you should find a Firefox account in your Android accounts list, and you can remove it. Please see the last section of this article: https://support.mozilla.org/kb/how-do-i-set-up-firefox-sync#w_remove-an-android-device-from-firefox-sync
I'm not sure whether this is one of the settings that is part of your Google account, but if you are not sure how secure your Google account is, you definitely should change that password and/or check Google's suggestions on next steps. -
I downloaded a free game last night and since then under the shared tab in my finder it says "hp002655a82ea0" and the only info I can get about it is that it is a pc. Then under console I see several "stealth mode connection" attempts ti TCP 192.168.1.107:##### from 74.125.225.82.443. The second number has jumped around and sometimes starts with 192. I dont really know what those numbers are but how do I stop them from attempting to get through my firewall and kick them out of my shared tab??? I encrypted all my files and made sure all sharing is turned off so I don't know what they are doing. Thank you very much.
Mac OS X versions 10.6.7 and later have built-in detection of known Mac malware in downloaded files. The recognition database is automatically updated once a day; however, you shouldn't rely on it, because the attackers are always at least a day ahead of the defenders. In most cases, there’s no benefit from any other automated protection against malware.
The most effective defense against malware is your own intelligence. All known Mac malware takes the form of trojans that can only operate if the victim is duped into running them. If you're smarter than the malware attacker thinks you are, you won't be duped. That means, primarily, that you never install software from an untrustworthy source. How do you know a source is untrustworthy?
Any website that prompts you to install software, such as a “codec” or “plug-in,” that comes from that same site, or an unknown site, is untrustworthy.
A web operator who tells you that you have a “virus,” or that anything else is wrong with your computer, or that you have won a prize in a contest you never entered, is trying to commit a crime with you as the victim.
“Cracked” versions of commercial software downloaded from a bittorrent are likely to be infected.
Software with a corporate brand, such as Adobe Flash, must be downloaded directly from the developer’s website. No intermediary is acceptable.
Follow these guidelines, and you’ll be as safe from malware as you can reasonably be.
Never install any commercial "anti-virus" products for the Mac, as they're all counter-productive. If you need to be able to detect Windows malware in your files, use ClamXav -- nothing else. -
Someone has hacked into my account and sending emails (iCloud) pretending to be me. I've changed my icloud password. Do i need to do anything else?
You should consider enabling two-factor verification on your Apple ID, to further protect it. Without doing that, it's entirely possible that a hacker who gains access to your account in the future could take control of your Apple ID away from you entirely.
You also should consider whether any confidential information might be stored in iCloud. If you have made the mistake of putting a list of passwords in the Notes app, for example, that list should be considered compromised, and all passwords should be changed (and removed from the Notes app).
If you used the same password as your old iCloud password for other accounts, you need to change the password on all those accounts.
You should also alert your contacts that your e-mail was compromised, so that they are cautious about trusting any attachments supposedly coming from you. Keep in mind that the spammer can continue to "spoof" your e-mail address on the From line of new e-mail messages, even without access to your e-mail account. -
I think my mac was hacked into last night using my Terminal application
Not sure - but I think my mac was hacked into last night when I downloaded the wrong version of handbrake application. I noticed on my screen that my Terminal Application opened and has some "darwin" code in it with my name and a $dollar sign after it. Should I be worried?
If that is your only symptom, I wouldn't be worried.

Dear Wendy Ott,
Your Apple ID, [email protected], was just used to download 胡莱三国 for iPad from the App Store on a computer or device that had not previously been associated with that Apple ID.
If you initiated this download, you can disregard this email. It was only sent to alert you in case you did not initiate the download yourself.
If you did not initiate this download, we recommend that you go to iforgot.apple.com to change your password, then see Apple ID: Tips for protecting the security of your account for further assistance.
Regards,
Apple

I need help hacking into my ipod i forgot the password and i cant factory reset it because the power button is broken?!
If your iPod Touch, iPhone, or iPad is Broken
Apple does not fix iDevices. Instead, they exchange yours for a refurbished or new replacement depending upon the age of your device and refurbished inventories. On rare occasions when there are no longer refurbished units for your older model, they may replace it with the next newer model.
ATTN: Beginning July 2013 Apple Stores are now equipped to do screen repairs/replacements in-house on iPhone 5 and 5C. In some cases while you wait. According to Apple this is the beginning of equipping Apple Stores with the resources needed to do most repairs for iPhones, iPads, and iPod Touches that would not require major replacements. Later in the year the services may be extended as Apple Stores become equipped and staffed with the proper repair expertise. So, if you need a screen repaired or a broken screen replaced or have your stuck Home button fixed, call your local Apple Store to see if they are now doing these in-house.
You may take your device to an Apple retailer for help or you may call Customer Service and arrange to send your device to Apple:
Apple Store Customer Service at 1-800-676-2775 or visit online Help for more information.

Is anyone here?
I think someone bought intunes merchandise with my account. How can I see what they bought to make sure? There are fellow users here, you aren't talking to Apple on these forums. You can check the purchase history on your account via the Store > View My Account menu option on your computer's iTunes - not sure whether that shows in-app purchases as I've never made any. You can also check to see if you have any auto-renewing subscriptions . If you don't recognise the charge and you haven't added or changed your credit card details (when you do then a temporary store holding charge may be applied to check that the details are correct and valid, which should disappear within a few days) then you can contact iTunes support via this page : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Purchases, Billing & Redemption

Hi, I recently received an email which I believed to be from my bank but it turns out it was from someone trying to hack my bank account. I accessed the email on my phone and I wanted to know if I need to restore my iphone back to default settings? I am a bit worried about losing everything on my phone if I do this but at the same time I don't want them to get any other information. Any ideas?
Did you log in with your bank account via the link included with this email?
If not, you have nothing to worry about.
Accessing or viewing the email alone can't provide your bank account info or the log in for your bank account.

Hi all, When I send a short message (2 to 4 lines) on my iPhone 4S and I press the stand-by button while the message is still being sent, I hear the 'woosh' sound a few seconds later. So no problems for that. But when I send a longer message (10 line
