I think someone put Spyware on my wifes Phone called Ownspy
We woke up this morning to a text message. It was a text message from the culprit but he obviously didn't send it. It said "Ownspy Interception Momcell". I am assuming the program was telling him that his phone was making a call or something because it was his moms phone number. The person has had remote access to the phone so I am worried that he has put something on her phone. I've googled the Ownspy stuff and have not found a way to get rid of it. The only way I can think of is restoring to factory defaults, but will that even do anything with this kind of program? Were willing to restore if we have to. Her phone is not jail broken in anyway, unless he jailbroke it without her knowledge, so I don't know exactly what's going on. Her phone connects to itunes but I cannot find anything about that program listed anywhere. I don't know if its even there but getting that text message this morning makes me think that her phone is in his ownspy network. Can anyone help me please?
The whole point behind software like this is to insure a user cannot find it on the device. Otherwise it wouldn't do much good.
If you even suspect this has been installed, you need to completely wipe the phone. However, depending on how the phone was jailbroken, this might not work. This software is designed to be removed remotely, by whoever installed it.
Look, doing something like this, may very well be illegal. I suggest you contact the police or your local district attorney's office.

Even if someone put the disk in backwards and clipped it in, it should still eject. If it isn't, do you see a little hole (about the size of a pencil point) next to the eject button? If you do, just use a paperclip and insert into the hole. This should eject the disk.

Skype Call Put on Hold when another Phone Call com...
Why does my active Skype call automatically get put on hold when a standard phone call comes through on my iphone 6? I would prefer to manually switch between calls and I hold many conference calls through SKYPE.

Please check if you enable conferencing in topology builder, you can check on the Standard edition topology below “Feature and functionality”.
Please also try to re-run the Lync Server Components install from the Deployment Wizard and check services again.
If the issue persists, you can use the Lync server logging tool on FE server to test the process of conferencing.

Wifi, phone calls, nothing works after IOS7. I got this phone a week ago!!!
The title says it all. I got this phone (4S) as a replacement for a damaged one. I upgraded to IOS7 straight away and can now not make phone calls and my wifi is blanked out. What the **** are you people playing at? I need this thing to work and you come out with an operating system that doesnt do fundamental things like make phone calls or download data.
This indicates corrupt files.
A restore should resolve. -
I missed my calls sometimes when I am on wifi connection. The phone didn't ring and the call is forwardws to my voicemail directly. Anyone has this experience?
To my knowledge, there is no setting that would cause this and phone calls should not be impacted by WiFi connections one way or the other. (Messaging is another matter, as is FaceTime.)
Try a reset: Simultaneously hold down the Home and On buttons until the iPad shuts down. Ignore the off slider if it appears. Once shut down is complete, if it doesn't restart on it own, turn the iPad back on using the On button. In some cases it also helps to double click the Home button and close all apps from the tray before doing the reset. -

Does anyone know of a 3rd party app that uses your current Verizon number to make wifi calls? I heard Verizon is making the move to wifi calls, but it is not here yet and the coverage in my neighborhood is spotty at best.
iPad is NOT a cell phone. You can use the Skype App and I'm sure there are others, but if you bought iPad thinking it would work like a phone, it DOES NOT.

The security questions and rescue email address is there for account security. If you don't have a rescue email address then contact iTunes Support using the link on the HT5312 page that you posted from.

Are you talking about an unlocked version? If an iPhone is locked to AT&T in the U.S., anyting is fair game outside of AT&T's network. (You can always use WiFi, though.)

Hi I hope I am in the right area my ipod touch was recently stolen and although I am reporting it to the police< I think someone is trying to download apps. What can I do to shut this down. I am not sure I downloaded cloud.

If you previously turned on FindMyiPod ins Settings>iCloud and wifi is on and connected go to iCloud, sign in and go to FIndMyiPhone. You can then find its general location and wipe it. If the iPod has been restored it will show off-line forever.
Change the passwords for all accounts used on the iPod. -
What is the best family plan option. Currently have one smart phone with 30gb of data and 3 basic phones. Also have home phone for $20/month. Current plan is 700 shared minutes and unlimited texting. My bill is close to $200/month, looking to lower if possible.

Great Advice given earlier by SuzyQ - I believe the question not asked of you is ---what do you want to pay for the services that you need. I think that it would narrow the groups suggestions if you could narrow your needs.
For example: I need talk and text on 4 phones and some data say, 2 Gig, on only one of the phones. what plan is the best cost for me? You may also need to ask what the cost may be to switch to a different plan. I suspect that there will be no cost within Verizon-but ask anyway.
I do not think that you can have a smart phone on any Verizon plan unless you agree to buy data for that phone. Also, you said that wifi is often available-however, I do not believe that Verizon allows talking over wifi without consuming airtime minutes-only data over wifi avoids your allowance to be impacted.
As most here already know, several other service providers offer wifi-friendly service (talk/text/data) that will provide home/business/restaurant service without impacting your allowance- just not here.
After getting some suggestions here, call 611 and confirm availibility and price.

Not a PC in the house., Ideas? do they have access to my computer? Has someone broken through to my wifi?When you turn on your Mac is will search for any computers that it's possible to connect to. You can't connect with any of them unless you and other computer user set up a sharing network.

They couldn't do it without physical access to your phone, so ask yourself if you've let anyone use your phone recently.
Otherwise, ask the person involved.
Also check whether you have apps, music, contacts etc, on your phone that aren't yours. -

Yes, the iPhone 5S is a global phone. However, Sprint will only unlock phones for use on GSM networks outside of the U.S. In the U.S., that phone can only be used on Sprint's network.
