I've seen a few other people who have also had this issue, and their problem turned out to be some kind of camera flex thing, or a main logic board. I have an iPhone 5C iOs 8. I get that weird error message when trying to turn my phone on, after it randomly turned off this morning. Recently, I did have the screen replaced (for the second time) by a THIRD Party. Yes I know, I've voided the warranties, blah, blah blah, please don't crucify me. Now, the phone will bring up the apple logo on a black screen, but it does nothing. I'be tried to restart etc, and may have accidentally wiped out my phone by putting it in recovery mode. But oh well. Also worth noting is that my front camera hasn't worked in a few months, but I did nothing about it. Could the front camera problem be related to this? I also dropped my phone in the sink last night, but it was in its life proof, dried immediately and kept working fine. I have had nothing but problems with this phone, and if anyone has any advice, PLEASE HELP. Thanks.

I don't believe any of us here can do anything to help you other than to suggest that you take the device back to the third-party that did the repair and have them do the repair correctly.

It's always risky opening an iPhone, which is why Apple considers it serious enough so they won't fix a phone that has been opened. This error means that the SSD memory control has detected a failure. It could be a flex not inserted fully, but it could also have been a static discharge when the case was opened because whoever did the repair did not do it on a copper ground plane and/or was not properly grounded him or her self. It's really pretty much impossible to diagnose a hardware fault without proper test equipment. If the front camera problem occurred before the phone was opened it is unlikely to be related to this newest problem. You can check for water damage by removing the SIM card and looking in the empty SIM slot with a bright light. If you don't see any red dots then water probably did not get into the phone, so that would be one less concern.

Hi, my ipad 2 just got the same problem and after reading all relative post, finnally i figrue it out, that is no software issue at alll just hardware,
I did attemp replace the power button cable on my ipad so i must disconnect the back camera cable so there is my problem. Because the connect some how not exact in place, i took the camera out and the issue is gone. So, in your case, if you did try to replace anything look at them again or you just take them out one by one and reboot ipad until it work.

Have you tried resetting it? I.e. Hold down the sleep/wake button and the Home button simultaneously until you see the Apple logo appear, then release them and see if the iPad will startup okay.

Paragon even has non-destriuctive conversion utility if you do want to change drive.
Hard to imagine using 3TB that isn't NTFS. Mac uses GPT for default partition type as well as HFS+

Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Restore from backup. See:

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem, make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

Hard drive read write speeds are too slow

I was having an issue with 17inch macbook pro. was getting 4.0mb/s read write speed tops. and smart status failure.
So i replaced the drive. The new drive is a 7200 RPM 500GB WD drive. I'm getting 12.0mb/s on top speed. Computer feels a little quicker but still slow overall.
I ran this test on a fresh install of snow leopard.
Is it just me or do those read/write speeds on the new drive still seem slow?
2007 17inch macbook pro with 2gigs of ram.

It has never happened before. In Fact I never had issues with the Ipad. this is Ipad 2 and It has been with me since 2011.
I looked online people are saying that this is a manufacter defect and something internally caused it that can't be done by users.

I just finished doing that and now I am getting the 1603 error.
I looked it up and it says

the thing is I do not have any security software on this PC to begin with I am uninstalling iTunes and renstalling it again before trying one more time.

It was erased and reset to default settings then after a month or so, the error came back.

Findflashmediaandkeepout 601 physical nand block offset 1

A couple days ago, my phone got slightly wet. I soaked it in rice for a day then let it sit in a fairly warm room/area to air dry for most of the next day. The tird day, I looked over my phone and saw that it appeared to be completely dry so I allowed it to charge. When I plugged it up, I saw the usual Apple logo then 2 seconds later an error message popped up at the top of the screen. This is the main phrase: "findflashmediaandkeepout 601 physical nand block offset 1"
Seconds later, the message would disappear, but the Apple logo would remain for a few moments, disappear, reappear, etc. The phone is unresponsive to the pressing of just one button (home or power), and shuts off for a maximum of 25 seconds when pressing the buttons in unison.
I know I should take this to the Geniuses but I'm in desperate need of answers now.. Can anybody help me fix my phone or even help me understand what this error code means?????

This is a "call to arms" for all of you Canon customers who have had this problem and have had their printers disabled because of it. Please respond with the model of your printer and if you were able to fix it, what you did to fix it.  We need to put pressure on Canon to respond this product defect. It appears to be bad firmware that does not allow the user to override the problem and to continue to use the printer even in a degraded mode. From my investigations the problem is NOT a printhead issue - no way one can be printing fine and then have this error alert without having changed the printhead or ink cartridges! Canon, PLEASE take this issue seriously and provide a solution across the affected models. If nothing else there should be a trade-in allowance for those printers that have been affected by this product defect. I have had many Canon printers because they have superior functional specifications. I want to be able to continue using Canon products but only if I can have confidence that this product defect will not destroy my investment. If Canon is unresponsive our next step should be to aggressively publisize this product defect on social media and on major product vendor outlet sites as negatives reviews. MX892 Where is the Canon Product Quality Assurance Department? This product deficiency should be investigated and a robust solution provided to the thousands of affected Canon loyal customers. What is your response Canon? Doesn't this warrant a firmware update to correct this product deficiency? Is it time for a class action law suit?

Why can I access Internet, and get my email through yahoo, but can't access email when I use the mail icon on the front of my tablet. It just started doing this today.

Why can I access the Internet, even get my email by going through yahoo, but as of this morning I can not access my email from the mail icon on my tablet screen. It just started doing this today. When I try to get my email by going through the icon, I am asked to enter yahoo password. I do this, then the box just pops up again, and again and again never letting me get signed in. Don't know what I am doing wrong. Need help!

Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)
Or this - Delete the account in Mail and then set it up again. Settings->Mail, Contacts, Calendars -> Accounts Tap on the Account, then on the red button that says Remove Account.
