I took a video on my ipad 2 its around 50 mins long. I want to transfer it to my pc and then burn it onto a dvd and cant figure out how??

I have taken a 55 minute video with my ipad camera and now want to burn it to a dvd. I've managed to transfer it to my pc but cant seem to get it into a format to burn it to a dvd. Help?

You have to "activate" it with a computer having iTunes loaded. (Or have the apple store activate it for you)
You would connect the iPad to the computer's USB port with the supplied cable.
The itunes will walk you through the process with messages.
Then, you can explore and add music and apps with itunes or download them from the itunes store.
One way to get good training is to find someone with an iPhone or ipod touch and let them give you a few minutes of training.

well, i got an ipod video for christmas, but i still havent been able to put any videos on it. i haven't figured out how. i've got a few videos downloaded on itunes, but when i try to drag them over to my ipod, it says "selected files ... bla, bla, bla ...these cannot be played on this ipod" or something to that extent. and i also herd that you can rip DVDs to your ipod, but i cant figure out how to do that either. can anyone help me?

ok listen. forget everything that you've tried to do so far. what you need to do first is download a program called Videora iPod Converter (my recommendation). If you have LimeWire, you can just get it off of there. And if you don't have LimeWire, I'm sorry and I don't know where to get it, but i'm assuming that you can get it off of the videora website.
ok when you get there, click convert, and after that, there should be a "transcode new video" button on the screen. click that and open the file that you want to rip. and then push start. after it says transcode complete, go to your videora ipod converter folder (which you get when you download the program) and you'll find that file in the folder. double click that file and it should open up with itunes. after its in the library just update your ipod and itll get on there!

You have to go to Settings>iCloud and tap Delete Account, then sign back in with your updated credentials. This deletes the account and your synced data from your device, but not from iCloud. Provided you are signing back into the same account and not changing to a different account, your data will be synced back to your device when you sign back in.

Let's be clear on one thing here. The manual setting is an iPod setting, not an iTunes one. So, once you've set it to manual (and you appear to have done that correctly), then you can connect it to any number of computers without changing that setting.
"The grey thing occurs on one pc only"
This is the thing that I don't understand, if your iPod is set to manual, then it shouldn't happen on any computer. If you connect the iPod that is set to manual to this pc, and then click on it in the source listing, then you would be looking at the songs on the iPod, and they should not be greyed out. When you connect to the "other pc" under these same circumstances, they are not greyed out?

You can't do that in iPhoto. You'll need a video editor like iMovie for the job.

Cant figure out how to allow an app to save video

Hi i have an ipod touch 4th gen ios 6.1.5. I downloaded an app called gunbuilding. It lets you see through the camera and pretend to shoot stuff. You can also record your video. I recorded a video and it said "allow acess to photos" or something like that. I acidentally hit no. Now it wont let me change that. It says "user media access denied" or something like that. The app has no settings for it. I whent in the ipod settings and the app dosent come up in the list. I deleted the app then redownloaded it. It still wont let me save the videos? any ideas?

Try going to Settings>Privacy. You should be able to turn it on there.

Thanks for that. Much more constructive than the last comment. It's only the restriction code I can't recall, not the access passcode. So I can currently access the device, just not age restricted content. Does that's make a difference? I also wondered if anyone knew how many attempts you get to try to get it right. Now tried 21 times and so far nothing bad has happened but I am concerned I'll eventually be completely locked out of the device. That doesn't seem in the spirit of things though. Surely it's foreseeable that a child could repeatedly try to guess the code so I can't see that it would be right to lock the device down completely in that circumstance, particularly if the access code is being typed in correctly every time.

Have you tried a reset ? Press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider if it appears), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

Hello, I'm trying to figure out how to use a video's alpha channel to define its hitspace for a button. I would greatly appreciate anyone's help with this.

Currently I'm doing an image sequence inside of a movie, and putting the movie in the button. I hope that's what you're asking. Not sure if I entirely understand your question. (Been a little while since I used the interactive side of Flash)

Im just guessing but it seems like you would have to get your movie into the correct folder on a computer then use iTunes to sync it to your iPad. If you've synced to a computer and have movies then on your computer should be a folder with the movie in it. You could export your iMovie to something like Dropbox then download from Dropbox to the folder you think it needs to be in the sync your iPad again. Again this is just a guess. Others may have a better answer.
