My daughter has a new Iphone 5 and we share an ITunes account. She logged on to my Icloud Account and deleted all my contacts this morning. Can i restore this as I now only have her friends as my contacts?
No, data like Email, Contacts, Calendars, Reminders, Notes are only synced between devices and not included in icloud backups, so unfortunately you won't be able to restore them. Please see also: iCloud storage and backup overview: http://support.apple.com/kb/PH12519/

Not sure what you mean by "reset" your iCloud account, but if you want to clean up other data, just delete it from the apps on your phone that are syncing with iCloud, or from icloud.com. They will be simultaneously deleted from iCloud and any devices syncing with iCloud.
Similarly, if you delete photos from your my photo stream album, they will be deleted from your photo steam and any devices connected to your photo stream. If you want to save them first, open the my photo stream album, tap Edit, tap the photos to select them, tap Edit, tap Save to Camera Roll. -
My company runs Adobe Acrobat XI on a PC. Our PC went down and we replaced it with a new one. We need Acrobat XI on it and have bought it already. How can I get it put onto our new computer without having to buy it again?

I checked with your account but could not find any order history so you might be using another email address on forums.
You will first need to deactivate Acrobat from old machine and then install Acrobat on the new machine by activating with the same serial number.

If you have single user license, then remember that the software can be activated on maximum two computers, say your desktop at work and laptop at home.

This is how I do it: With all the video & still's in the time line, I click on each (even if I have to use the command key and click on each file). When each file is active I go under SHARE- go to EXPORT MEDIA- I use the Apple Pro Res codec 4:2:2. If you do not click on each file in the time line it will not be exported out.

I have never been so disappointed with an Apple Product such as the Iphone 4s. When I signed up with a new 2 year contract, I received my iphone 4s. I charged it fully the night before, then it didn't even last the day (with minimal usage). I turned off Location Services, Wi Fi, and Bluetooth, this helped a bit. But what is the point of turning these services off, when I NEED THEM!!! The wonderful new Siri doesn't work properly without Location Services turned on.
So I upgraded to the iOS 5.0.1. version - that did absolutely nothing to assist the battery life.
Apple, what are you going to do about it? My new Apple phone is a LEMON!
If I had of known how bad the battery life is on the iphone 4s, I would have got a Samsung Galaxy 2!!!!!It doesn't really matter whether I am talking to Apple or not (and I'm sure they monitor these comments), I want everyone to know how bad this new iphone 4s is, and all of it's problems.
Apple have already launched an upgrade to the software - it obviously did not help, as many around the world would concur.
As far as being patient and waiting for another "update in the works" is concerned, it is just not satisfactory. This is not a cheap phone, and those who are experiencing these problems, should not have to be paying a substantial amount of money, for a very smart phone, that obviously, has some serious problems. -
If your iphone is defective does Apple replace it with a new or refurb?
I have an appointment with the genious bar today at the Apple store. If they have to replace it will it be a refurb? If it is a refurb will it look used etc or will it be in new condition. Just don't want to get something worse then what I have or I will just live with the probs.
They don't have refurbs in the store, so if they replace it in the store it will be new. If they send it away the can repair it, replace it with a new one, or replace it with a refurb. However, have no fear: Apple's refurbs are pretty top notch. They wouldn't send you one that wasn't pristine. My first Intel Mac was a refurbed iMac, and I just bought my dad a refurbed iPod (cause I can't spend money on something I know he's going to run over with the lawnmower).
Don't live with any problem. Keep taking it back until you get a perfect model. That goes with any product. You paid for it, you should get one that is defect free. -
I am trying to access tax forms from the IRS. I download them to my comuter and they read fine (version XI). However, when iItry to open them on another computer (version 4) they will not open. Version 4 opens all other pdf documents fine, just not the ones from the IRS. Any ideas?
Version 4 is oh so old.
The IRS and many other providers of forms are using products like LIveCycle which require at least version 7.05.

If you've been using your phone as recommended, you've been keeping your contacts safe on your computer in Outlook or Address Book, or safe with a cloud service like Google.
Your contacts should be there safe and sounds ready to synch back to your iPhone.

It has always been very basic to always maintain a backup copy of your computer for just such an occasion.
Use your backup copy of your computer to put everything on the new one.
It sounds like you have failed to do this, which is not good at all.
You will have to transfer your itunes purchases from your iphone. Authorize your computer for your itunes account
About iTunes Store authorization and deauthorization
Open itunes, plug in iphone, do NOT sync, click File>Transfer Purchases
When you do sync you will lose your pics ( photo library - synced from your old computer), your itunes content ( music, apps, videos,etc) , your contacts and your calendars. So do NOT sync yet. This is why a backup copy is so important.
Enter one unique contact and calendar entry on your computer.
When you first sync, you should get the option to merger the data. Choose it.
If you want your pics, then you will need to e-mail them to yourself before you sync. They will not be of the original quality as they are reduced when synced to iphone.
When all is as goos as it can be, then backup your computer, and always maintain the backup. -
My iphone broke, the screen is not working so i can not get into my phone. i have around 800 photos and they were backed up regulary on icloud; i signed into my icloud account on my ipad and backup up to hopefully find that the photos will appear. They haven't! How do i get my photos back?
Updating is not suppose to wipe any media or apps.
It may happen because sometimes things just go wrong.

Go to settings\General\About\Diagnostics and Usage\Diagnostics and Usage Data- scroll down the logs to the bottom of the list and check if you are getting many low Memory logs being generated. Also look for Sprinboard Logs which report crashes. A high number will indicate problems.
When a crach occurs next time, go to your home screen (probably will already be there if an App has crashed) and double Tap your home button to reveal the Apps in background bar. Hold your finger on one till it wiggles then tap the '-' icon in the corner of any Apps you are not using to close them down.
Try uploading/downloading your photos again.
if the problem persists you may need to either do a reset or a restore. Come back for details if your problem persists.
