when we hit an icon it keeps blacking out or returning to main page... camera wont change views either

Try #2 and #3 in link below. If neither work, you most likely have a hardware issue.

my ipod screen blacked out and wont let me see anything but it will play music. how can i fix it or cani get a new one?

    - A reset. Nothing is lost
Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
    - Restore from backup
    - Restore to factory settings/new iPod
If you still have the problem that indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.
If not under warranty, Apple will exchange your iPod for a refurbished one for this price:

A third-party place might be less expensive. Here is one. Google for more.

What FOB are you on? I'm trying to figure out if this is a local problem or theater wide issue. Another one of my Mac using co-workers is having the same problem.

If you try all these steps and you still have issues... Then a Visit to an Apple Store or AASP (Authorized Apple Service Provider) is the Next Step...
Be sure to make an appointment first...

  • The built in screen in my Macbook keeps blacking out, even though the computer is on.

    Hi
The internal screen on my Macbook keeps blacking out; when this happens the computer is still on - just no screen. This happens when unplugged after a few seconds, and takes a bit longer when plugged in.
If I close the lid and open it again the screen works again for a few seconds before the blackout returns. Obviously this is not the ideal work scenario!
It does not appear that this is a backlight issue (I presume) as I cannot see any image on the screen when this happens from any angle.
If I turn the brightness all the way down and then back up again the screen flicks on for a fraction of a second before anything happens again.
Any ideas what might be causing this? If I can fix it? And/or how much an Apple repair of the problem is likely to cost.
    Many thanks for your help!

Unfortunately it sounds like the logic board... happened on a MB I have at work. That's an Apple Store replacement, and can be expensive if your mac's out of warranty. Free if it's still covered...

  • I had some really good Injustice Gods Among Us characters, like Lobo Lvl 39 Elite 1, and the app began blacking out. It still is blacking out, and wont let me in. Can anyone help?

My app Injustice Gods Among Us is really being a pain. It started blacking out around a week ago, and it wont let me in to the game. I was told to delete the app, and redownload and rebbot my Ipad, but it didnt work. And I lost all my characters, like Lobo, Batgirl, Darkseid, and a ton of others. Can anyone help me? My neighbor got the app, and his works fine! What the heck.

It shows Peter's doing its jobs properly.
Anyway there is no more communication from Sony since awihle. If you can have any news.
    Anyway good job Zero!

I restarted my computer and that project ONLY wont open. It is saved and all, plus other projects will open. ANyone had any idea what to do?
    Thanks

I recall reading from another user who had an issue when nesting an MC edit, though I don't remember the details, or if a solution was found.  You might try a forum search.

  • Docking Station Screen keeps blacking out

So up until now, I've had no problem with the screen showing Time/charging status/Temperature when I dock the phone.  But yesterday the screen blacked out (okay, dark grayed out) and I don't know how to keep it from doing that...any hints?  Thanks

Okay...never mind.  New to this forum, and didn't bother to check the "solutions" list.  Found my answer there (brightness icon--that I couldn't see cause the screen was VERY gray).  Hope everyones questions are as easy to answer as mine was!!

  • Nokia E5 keeps blacking out the screen as I use it

i got my new nokia e5 a couple of days ago, and its been working great, only right now every time i press unlock and then go to use it 5 seconds later it will black out the screen. it doesnt go straight to lockout mode but sometimes it wont let me go back to see mode for 5-8 seconds no matter what button i press.
it did it the other night but only for an hour this is persisting.
I now tried to reset to factory defaults but that didnt work either sigh, i geuss its a faulty phone, ill bring it back to the guy, if anyone knows if there is some way to fix it because it is a looong way for me back to the shop

If you're going to take it back to the shop, it may be worth doing a hard reset, back up your contacts, calendar and notes, dial *#7370# followed by 12345and the phone will reset to out of the box, but you will have to set it back up and re-install any apps that have dissapeared, if this doesn't resolve it , you will have to return it for repair or replacement !
    Good Luck

  • MacBook keeps blacking out for a few seconds

I have a weird new problem. It started blacking out (I thought it had switched itself off but it hasn't, it comes right back as it was after a few seconds) around every half hour or so. But now, just a few days after the problem began, it is blacking out every few minutes. Luckily it comes right back on and I don't lose anything, but it is annoying and certainly not right! Any ideas what this could be related to and how to fix it?

It sounds like it is either the inverter cable or the inverter board. Probably the latter. You can find repair guides, parts, and tools on ifixit.com. If your computer is under warranty, take it to an Apple store and have them fix it.

  • My macbook keeps blacking out. What does this mean?

So ever so often my mac book pro blacks out on me. I cant log in or do anything on my mac for that few sec. I'm wondering if there something wrong with my system or its something i downloaded?

It looks as if there's a problem with your GPU. With a Retina machine, that would mean replacement of just about everything, except, perhaps, the flash storage drive.
Print you kernel panic when you go to your Apple Store appointment. I'm betting that it's a faulty GPU but they will be able to diagnose exactly where the problem lies.
    Good luck,
