I tried buying a pre-ordered album but didn't download at all. Now when i go back to see if i can purchase it again so it can download but it just shows up as purchased so i check icloud by the way its all on my iphone because i dont have a computer.
It wont show up on my recently purchased, nor on my not on this device

I have purchased a pre ordered album, however I cannot download it to any of my devices at all! I've tried using the various links given to me but nothing happens, and I've tried downloading it ion my laptop using the function 'check for available downloads' but it tells me that all my downloads are up to date!

To pre-order an item, click the Pre-order button next to the item. When the item is available for download, you receive an email notice. You aren’t charged for the item until you download it.
To download a pre-ordered item, click the link in the email notice or open iTunes and choose Store > Check for Available Downloads.
To view, cancel, or see the expected release dates for pending pre-orders, choose Store > View My Account, and click Manage Pre-orders.

I just downloaded a pre-ordered album and one song is corrupted and stopping just after a minute in. Can I redownload the song for free?
If you delete the song from your PC you can redownload it. Make sure you actually remove it from the computer, and not just from the library (select "Move to Recycle Bin" when deleting). To redownload you can go to the itunes Store->Purchased-> Download Previous Purchases. Within there you have the option to view all songs purchased, as well as all songs which are "Not In My Libraray".
If you don't feel comfortable deleting the song, you can just move copy/paste it somewhere else so that you've got it backed up in case the re-download doesn't work. -
When I buy a pre order song how do I get it to play with the rest of the CD?
When I buy a pre-order song from i tunes, and then purchase the CD the song was from it will not play with the rest of the CD.
Example: Tori Amos's new CD Unrepentant Geraldines
I purchased the single Trouble's Lament when it was released, before the CD.
I just purchased the CD and the song should be #2 on the CD, but its not there, it is listed separately, and will not play with the CD.
Also, other issue... Free U2 CD, it says its in my Library when I clicked on the CD add in the store. It's nowhere to be found in my library!! I really would love to listen to it since I have several of there CD's and am a big fan
If anyone can help with either of these issues , I would greatly appreciate it.For the single, if you select the track in your library and do 'get-info' (control-I) on it and select its Summary tab on the popup are its details (e.g. album name and artist) the same as for the other tracks on the album ?
For the U2 album you should be able to download it into your library by ticking the 'show iTunes in the Cloud purchases' tick box on the Store tab in iTunes > Preferences - it should then show in the Music part of your library with a cloud icon against it for downloading (downloading the booklet for it this way may not work, you may get a 'corrupt file' message when trying to open it, though that might have been fixed by now).
Or go to the Purchased link under Quick Links on the right-hand side of the iTunes store homepage and you should be able to download it from there.
A third option is to sign out of your account (Store > Sign Out menu option), find the album in the store and then click on its free 'price' button - you should then be prompted to sign back in and the album should download. -

I would be eager to download and listen to a pre-ordered album as well. I found a couple of resources that might help with downloading this purchase.
First, I recommend checking to see if the download was interrupted. You can use the steps in this article:

If the album does not download after following the steps in that article, I recommend trying to download the album from the list of past purchases. As long as you are signed in with the same Apple ID you used to purchase the album, you will not be charged again. I made a purchase of an album on iTunes...somehow I deleted the whole album from my iMac and now when I go back to my purchases it does not give me the option to download the whole album again, instead it gives me the option of plaing them...please help!!
Where are you looking to download them from ? You might be able to redownload them via the Purchased link under Quicklinks on the right-hand side of the iTunes store homepage on your Mac's iTunes. If that album shows there but doesn't have the cloud symbol against it for redownloading then that implies that it's still in your iTunes library

My iPhone 4S had the iOS 6 update and I have been trying to download all day but it won't work and now when I go to software update of says iOS 5.1.1 is up to date. And I cant restore my iPhone becuase when I go onto iTunes it says that it can't find my iPhone. I bought used iMac 2007 with Mavericks installed but iPhotos was missing. I reinstalled Mavericks but didn't get iPhoto. Now if I want it I have to buy it? Is there a way to install it without having to pay for it?
If you own any verson of iPhoto '11 then there is a free update to version 9.5.x in the App store
If you own a previous version of iPhto (iPhoto '09 or earlier) then as always an upgrade to a new version (in this case iPhoto '11) is a paid upgrade and you purchase it in the App store
and no OS update/upgrade contains a version of iPhto - it is a seperate program and although it is included as part of every new Mac it is not a free program and never has been sinve version 1 or 2 (I forget when it changes)

Apple doesn't sell insurance. Talk to your insurance company. The warranty does not cover accidental damage or abuse.
If you purchased AppleCare+, you can get up to 2 discounted (US$49) replacements over the course of 2 years for user inflicted damage. Sounds like that's not what you have.
As I said, talk to your insurance company.
