I tried creating a startup backup via Disk Utility. There wasn't enough space and now I have no internal disk space. How do I fix this?
I used DIsk Utility to create a startup backup clone for the first time yesterday. I cloned it to my internal drive on my Mac. I let it run all night and when I woke up this morning it showed it as failed (not enough disk space). Now when I boot up my Mac, it showed a warning at the login screen (not enough disk space at startup). I do not have an external hard drive (which is why I chose to backup internally). Do I need to purchase one?
It still allows me to log in. When I open Finder and look at my internal drive, it shows less than 100.00 MB space available. I tried deleting a bunch of old files and stripped needless apps. However, it keeps showing my computer as having less than 100 MB of storage.
Is there a way to find the failed clone backup and delete it? I tried looking in Spotlight for the backup clone (I named it 4-21-14.dmg). I cannot find the file. I was hoping to backup my files so I can install OS Mavericks on my computer (mid-2010 Macbook Pro), but I do not have enough free space.
I solved the problem by deleting over 100 gb of files and apps. I would have rather not gone that route, but having less than 100 MB of storage is an unacceptable headache to deal with. Now I have to decide on whether to try again with the backup internally route or risk it and download/install Mavericks.

I was going to update my software for the IPad and I connected it to Itunes it synced up and brought up the ipad but didn't have the name, serial number or anything else but a question mark. After being synced and trying to doa software update of about 15-20 mins it suddenly brought up a dialog box and said it couldn't update the ipad until it was restored. I then hit the restore button and after a couple of minutes it didn't do anything and it disconnected me from itunes and now the only thing on the screen is the apple. I can not get it to do anything. I have tried to sync to itunes but nothing. If you push the button on the screen and the top button at the same time it will shut down. I had the same problem. In the end I downloaded it manually. Here's the steps assuming you are on a Mac and have an iPad Air (Wifi). If not you can find other restore links here.
In the terminal (it kept failing to download in Safari):
curl http://appldnld.apple.com/iOS7.1/031-4521.20140310.D2Ydl/iPad4,1_7.1_11D167_Rest ore.ipsw >>~/Desktop/iPad4,1_7.1_11D167_Restore.ipsw
Once the file has downloaded, move it to ~/Library/iTunes/iPad Software Updates/
Quit and relaunch iTunes.

I was updating my computer and after the restart my computer had a complete black and blank page. I know that it is on because I was able to take a CD out but I just cannot see anything. PLEASE HELP!
What were you upgrading? I mean was this a new OS like Mavericks or just some application upgrade?
Try restarting the machine and holding down the Command and R keys. Does it boot to the Recovery partition and can you see it? That at least tells if this is a hardware problem. -

I have a new IPhone 5c, and an old iTunes acct. I changed my password because I forgot it. I guess I tried it too many times and now my apple iTunes is disabled. How do I fix that?
You might be able to re-enable it via this page : http://appleid.apple.com, then 'reset your password'
You might then need to log out of your account on your phone by tapping on your id in Settings > iTunes & App Store and then log back in so as to 'refresh' the account on it.
If that doesn't fix it then you might need to contact iTunes Support : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page

The reason the alphabetical sections aren't showing is because you don't have enough songs. In order for them to show, you have to have a certain number of songs. ( I think it's 40 ).

I created a document in Pages on my ipad and now it won't open up. How can I fix this?
I created a document on my Ipad and when I finished it, I closed Pages. When I went to re-open Pages and see the document it wouldn't open. I click on the document and it shows the processing symbol but then the entire program closes. All of the other documents within pages open up fine, just not this one. Any help?
Try resetting your iPad. Hold the on/off and home buttons together for 7 or 8 seconds till the Apple logo appears.
I'm assuming your default is to save Pages documents to iCloud, and that you had a good WiFi connection when you closed Pages the last time you tried to save the document. -

Just for clarity, music redownload is part of iCloud which is presenlty only available in the USA as a beta when you are using the latesest iTunes.

So I have been creating a logo for my company and it came out great. The problem is, when I format it for PNG or when I want to use it on fresh books or my webpage, the image becomes blurred and the text is not as clear. How do I fix this? Is it because the text get shrunk?

If you plan to share or work with people who regulary use MS Excel you should not try to use this in Numbers. You will have constant problems with how each program translates the formatting.
If you want to use Numbers, use it exclusively. If it is for your job use the tool your company uses. -

I just upgraded to OS X 10.9.1. When I started the Mail program, I was told that the mail database was being upgraded. Now I can no longer drag and drop e-mail messages between Mail folders like I could before. Is anyone else experiencing this same i
