Basically, clicking my bookmark tab or the star as NO affect, and I cannot bookmark. I am about ready to just ditch firefox all together. Can someone help? I want to keep it, cuz it's the fastest, but I want my normal funcitons to work, or it's pointless.

I have just tried to update my ipod touch and the update failed but it has locked my ipod. All I get is a picture of the itunes logo and the usb lead. I am unable to get the ipod to move and I don't know what to do. I think I should be recompenced by Apple if I have to pay to get it fixed!
The logo is saying connect it to your computer with iTunes installed on the computer. I assume when yo do this that the iPod is not seen in iTunes. to make iTunes appear try:
- Resetting the iPod:
Press and hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button and the Home
button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Place the iPod in recovery mode. See:

If the iPod appears in iTunes restore the iPOd. If not I would make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store. -

I had to reinstall Win 7 and PS CS5, and the updates fail even when opened using 'run-as-admin'. Why?If you are using Help 》updates, it is outdated. You can however go to Product Updates on the Adobe.com website and download your updates there. I am not at my desk b<t when I get back, I'll get the links unless someone else can do that sooner.

In trying to download application in Creative Cloud I am getting an error "Download Error please retry again or contact customer support" Any ideas?
Among many other possibilities: Signing out might help if the app is not communicating correctly with severs, etc. Restarting might help if another program is preventing the CC app from installing (also why I mentioned not opening any other programs). Running as administrator should help with any permission issues, as Gene mentioned.
What I posted is usually the first recommendation for CC download issues.
One more thing I should add...Although you are downloading Photoshop, the best place to get help is the forum which correlates to the program you are having trouble with. In this case, the Adobe Creative Cloud forum.

You may be able to restore from backup, if you have backups on your computer.

I receive a random message about a software update and the update failed.
The message specifically says: "Something is trying to trick Firefox into accepting an insecure update. Please contact your network provider and seek help." I am not sure what this is about. Any help would be appreciated. thank you. I believe that is all the details.
This issue can be caused by the presence of leftover files in the Firefox program folder (defaults\pref) like a file firefox.js that overrides the update URL with a wrong link.
Do a clean reinstall and be sure to remove the Firefox program folder to remove the file(s) that cause the problem.

Syncronizing my 3gs with itunes the sync does not finish because itunes always crash and stuck and i can not sync my device, i dont no whats wrong because the itunes even can not acess itunes store, still loading waiting for itunes store and nothing.I tryed reinstall itunes but just waste of time.

You asked what I meant about saving the installer on your PC.
When you go to the iTunes download page:
http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/
And click on download, you should be offered the choice of running the installer or saving it. You need to click on save and then choose a folder on you PC where you want it saved. But I think you already did that.
After the installer file - iTunessetup.exe - is save on your computer, you double click on it to run it.
It's very odd that the installer fails at different stages. usually when the installation fails, it is at a specific stage and usually generates an error message.
I am afraid I am mystified. Have you had any other problems with your PC which might suggest a general problem not specific to iTunes?
The only other suggestion I have is to download a fresh copy of the installer - in case it got corrupted. You could also try using "run as administrator" to run the installer. It should be an option if you right click on the installer file.
The other thing it might be worth trying is to install it from another account, but you would need to create another administrator account if you don't a;ready have one. Or if you have another account that is not an admin account, you can temporarily promote it from the control panel>>User accounts. -

I literally just downloaded Creative Cloud and PS so there shouldn't be anything on my computer conflicting with the download.

You could try using the Windows Installer Cleanup Utility to remove all traces of any existing versions of Reader prior to installing the version you want and updating it as required. My computer (MACBOOKPRO) is not and has not for a year saved yet alone showing history. I need to back track 15 or so pages and nope, can't do; even with visiting settings and prefernces and making sure its all set up to what appears to be correctly? Computer is a 2yrs almost. i have used my MAC after extr. beam radiation, I know thats not "ideal" for it. Safari saves my history just fine yet i prefer Firefox but i cant view anything if I need to go backwards or look it up in the bookmarks menuNot saving History (Tools -> options -> Privacy), make sure you are not clearing in "Settings for Clearing History"

You are rather far behind on Firefox updates with Firefox 3.0.4 the current ones are Firefox 3.6.17; and if you have an Intel chip in your Mac OS X 10.5 you can go to Firefox 5

I receive message the CC desktop needs to upgrade and the upgrade fails to complete
I have tried many times and the upgrade fails at the same place, almost to the far right end of the progress bar. I have downloaded to my PC and tried from there as well as the automatic upgrade the happens when I try to acces CC desktop. I'm running Win 8.1

Why does genius sync every time?
I have full updated iTunes on Windows, and iOS 6.1 on an iPhone4s, and iPad. Every time I sync the Genius data is re-synced... all 6000+ songs. How do I stop this other than disabling Genius enirely?
