i backed up my iphone to itunes and tried restoring the info on to a new iphone and for some reason it used an old back up from last may. I know that the recent back up worked as I used it to set up another phone a week ago (a phone whihc also had problems and hence I needed to use that same back up again on my second new phone. I got most of it done but now it is not letting me delete my C:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple

I am getting an error message on my itunes when trying to back up my iphone 4s, itunes could not back up iphone because an error occurred.

Please help me!!!! I have tried all of the steps that I have found listed for this issue. I am not sure if I should try to contact my phone provider or not. I am getting an error message without an error code. That says: Itunes could not back up Iphone because an error occurred. Please if anyone one knows any steps I should take please let me know. Firefox was working just fine on my 2004 ibook G4 computer with a Mac 10.39 browser. Then, I got an email message that I needed to upgrade my browser in order to see the new Yahoo email. So I clicked on the link and it took me Firefox 4. I downloaded it and then it asked if I wanted to replace my old Firefox and I said 'Yes". BIG mistake because when I tried to open firefox 4 - I got the error message: Firefox won't open because it is incomplete or damaged. Then, I couldn't get my old firefox back and I lost all of my hundreds of bookmarks. Please advise and help me! I have been searching for hours for an old version of Firefox to download that is compatible with my iBook and to no avail. Please tell me where to go to download a new Firefox please.

After reformatting my pc. I reinstalled iTunes and was going to back up my iPhone from iCloud (I had backed up to iCloud before reformatting). I did not get that option. How can I back up my phone to the backup I saved on ICloud ?

Tried to update iphone via itunes and now all stopped working

So, after some issues with drivers over the weekend, I decided today to finally update iphone.
Attached phone to laptop, started upgrade.
Now it has completely frozen with the itunes icon on the screen alongwith a usb cable.
According to itunes the phone is in recovery mode and needs to be restored prior to anything else.
But it simply won't do anything. It has lost and since found the driver again, itunes is working, phone is frozen.
Apparently the best driver is installed.
Going to work now, so will check in later.

You will have to restore. If the option is there or available forst back up your device to itunes. After the backup is complete you may backup from restore. This will restore your device whilst at the same time keepin all of your previous data. nothing will be wiped off.

I recently updated my friends iphone to ios5 and he lost everything. How can I get it back?

My friend's computer is too slow for him to update his iphone himself and asked me to do it. I did it and once ios5 downloaded it couldnt find his back up and he lost it all. I was hoping there is something i can do to help him. There has to be some way to get it back that i can understand without using back up.

This is a perfect example of why to only do updates on the computer that the device is synced with.
Plug the device into the computer it normally syncs with and restore it.
If you really wanted to help, you would have bought him a newer comptuer.
