I tried to down load the iTunes update to my computer n it read error so I canceled it now it seems I tunes is not on my computer at all!

I need help!!! Tried to download the upgrade that prompted for iTunes and it did for a while but the then an error message came up. It read debug or cancel , I pressed debug and shortly after another. Error came up so I canceled.. Now it seems that iTunes is no longer on my computer at all!! What do I do and where is all my stuff that was on iTunes ???

(1) Download the Windows Installer CleanUp utility installer file (msicuu2.exe) from the following Major Geeks page (use one of the links under the "DOWNLOAD LOCATIONS" thingy on the Major Geeks page):

(2) Doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file and follow the prompts to install the Windows Installer CleanUp utility. (If you're on a Windows Vista or Windows 7 system and you get a Code 800A0046 error message when doubleclicking the msicuu2.exe file, try instead right-clicking on the msicuu2.exe file and selecting "Run as administrator".)
(3) In your Start menu click All Programs and then click Windows Install Clean Up. The Windows Installer CleanUp utility window appears, listing software that is currently installed on your computer.
(4) In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any Bonjour entries and click "Remove", as per the following screenshot:

The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down the page in case one of them applies.
Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there is backup and recovery advice elsewhere in the user tip.
The error hints at a similar pattern to those discussed in the first and third boxes of the user tip, suggesting that you've got an outdated .dll file that needs replacing. You should find AirTrafficHost.dll in the one of the following folders:
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support
C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support
Delete it and then repair Apple Mobile Device Support from the Programs and Features control panel. If that doesn't work go for the full tear down and rebuild.

Additional things to try.
Try this first. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.

Another thing to try - Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.

I had about 6000 songs on my old computer in Itunes. 1000 I bought from Itunes, the rest I downloaded from CD's I owned. I was able to down load the Itunes songs but not my library of cd music. How do I download those songs into my new computer?

I have 6000 songs in itunes (in my Ipod and old laptop).
I was able to download the songs I purchased directly from itunes to my new laptop but the 5000 songs I loaded into itunes from my old laptop using my own CD's won't transfer... or I don't know how.
When I plug in my Ipod to my new laptop, I get a message that says the Ipod library is linked to my old laptop and the library can only be linked to one computer at a time.
Any ideas how to resolve this situation?

Copy them from your old computer, or your backuo copy of your old computer. to your new one.
The music sync is one way - computer to ipod. the exception is itunes purchases.
