I tried to download CS master collection 5.5 and it freezes in download assitant

I have tried to download cs5.5 and and in the downloader freezes ** stops downlaoding at 5148mb - about 4 hours to go.** it just stops and wont continue no error messages no nothing.
1. i have stoped downloading and restarted it and same freezes at same point ..
2. Help

Do you receive any error messages? Which operating system are you using? Where did you choose to download the install files too?

AppleWorks is not legally available for download. You would need to buy a copy. HardcoreMac.com still lists AppleWorks 6 on their website. You could also try eBay but you would need to make sure it is AppleWorks 6.2 or newer to install on OS X.

After downloading everything and preparing to run the installer, after clicking "install" I get a " We've encountered the following issues. Installer failed to initialize. Please download Adobe Support Advisor to detect the problem. I try and go that route and get lost in the thousands of dead end links. Can anyone please help?

you shouldn't need to uninstall anything (and do not delete any files).
just run the master collection installer and tick/select the programs you want to install.

Trying to install CS5 Master Collection onto a macbook pro with no disk drive.

I would like to install my cs5 master collection onto my macbook pro, however it does not have a disk drive...instead, it's an air drive. Does anyone know if there is any way to download these applications without the disks? I attempted to contact customer service, but apparently adobe does not offer customer support for versions below CS6 (which is unbelievable to me). Thanks.

CS4 Master Collection PN 65023349 and 65023345

According to google, this has been discussed here before, but my forum searches come up empty. I am trying to understand the difference between CS4 Master Collection part numbers 65023349 and 65023345 . Except for the stickers on the bottom, the packages are identical. And even those stickers are quite similar, except for the part and UPC numbers and a line that reads "001 DV" on one box and "001 DV RET" on the other.
If someone can explain the difference, I'd appreciate it very much.

There is no option to upgrade your CS4 license except to subscribe to the Creative Cloud's special first year discount plan for CS owners (Adobe: Creative, marketing, and document management solutions).
Platform swaps are only allowed for the most recent released CS software (CS6). You cannot get a Mac version license of CS4 thru Adobe since Adobe does not sell older versions and the only CS version for sale is CS6... CS4 does not qualify to get CS6 at an upgrade price.

Install CS5 Master Collection using AAMEE and Casper Suite

We have purchased Adobe CS5 Master Collection for Mac with a site license and I would like to use Casper Suite to distribute it. We downloaded the MasterCollection_CS5_LS1.dmg from our account but the AAMEE packager will not recognize the .dmg as a valid installer. Can anyone point me in the right direction as to how to create a distribution for Casper? I have read the "Simplifying Adobe CS5 Administration with the Casper Suite" guide and the AAMEE version 2.0.242.0 guide. Do I need to obtain a .pkg file to use with the AAMEE package creator?

Problem solved. I finally realized I needed to extract/drag the Adobe CS5 Master Collection applications from the downloaded .dmg to a folder. Then AAMEE packager program was able to recognize the applications.

I have the master collection CS3.2. The current master collection upgrade includes a path to Acrobat Pro 9.0 but not to the Acrobat Pro 9.0 Extended version. The upgrade pricing of 299 to the extended version should be available to holders of the master collection.
The master collection should include an upgrade path to the extended version to any product within the grouping. What is the point of the master collection if it does not enable you to maintain a consolidated licensing. Both sales and support do not answer the question or provide any feedback other than contact the other. I am hoping that someone who is not following a script will read this and provide a resolution.

I work for a college and we have 15 Mac Pros, but we use both Windows and Mac OS as they are Intel.
Students are using all of the CS2 suite and then we have Maya for 3D modelling. I really want to be able to teach students to author PDFs as interactive media and want them to be able to showcase their 3D models in an interactive form.
Showing videos of animations is fine, but I really like the features from Acrobat 3D (I tried the older trial).
We are hoping to upgrade from CS2 Design Premium to CS4 Master collection in order to get After Affects and Encore and the rest but sadly we still wouldn't have Acrobat Pro Extended.
Is there no way to get Acrobat Pro Extended via an upgrade. Naturally we have Educational Licensing and we are on a Volume contract (or whatever it's called). We are UK based so perhaps the licenses are different in different regions. So many questions!

Adobe CS5.5 Master Collection not installing and @AdobeCare don't help!

This is WHY Adobe is the biggest RIP OFF ever.
I bought a copy of CS5.5 Master Collection at an auction (Bought for just over 2k) everything sealed and fine, got it home installed it on my iMac and everything was gravy.
Used for around year and half, then I moved from Alberta to Ontario, so everything was packed and then unpacked and reset up, as I did a clean of my Mac when I got here and went to install all my software and applications again, and sure enough BAM!!! That's when it happened.
It would not install.
Now I have contacted Adobe "Don't" Care about a previous issue I had with another piece of software that they messed me around on that software was only $200 and after becoming very pissed of at them for giving me the run around having to go on live chat 4 times and then resulting to twitting the sh*t out them stating how crappy they were I all of a sudden had someone contact me and finally contact me assisted on getting that software working again.
However this more expensive piece of software they haven't give two craps about.
I would love any so called "smart" Adobe worker fill me in on this.
If something works perfect for a year and half or 3 months because you guys are "so" on top of things right is shouldn't matter about the time frame, when you get either a system crash, reinstall, new computer or sell the system and when loading the software back on the somputer and it's not working...ready simple question WHY NOT!
Clearly people have stated that bootleg copies of the serials are out on the internet for anyone to get right, but when a person has spent a F load of cash on a NON Stolen or Copied version with proof of purchase with pictures of receipt and evidence that they have been using the same F'ing serial this whole time, how can you not HELP!
Oh wait I think I know and by my sarcasm you guessed it, it's cause you already got my cash right!
So when do I get compensation for being messed around by Adobe? because the run around I have had by Adobe staff, for a product that is legit and been in use for a year and half and then flat out not working..will Adobe care? In a market where there is so many more choices I will always refer people to those, like Sony Vegas Pro, Coral ect.

ranting is all people are left to do Ned, because getting help from Adobe clearly takes so much effort. Are you an Adobe worker? Are you a specialist? because that is why its a rant because after explaining my problem so many times to so many people via different methods THAT IS WHY IT IS A RANT! because all that is asked is can you please let us know your problem, then that person who clearly doesn't make notes decides to put you on hold via Live chat and then the chat goes dead you have to explain it ALL OVER AGAIN!!!
So I will explain it in simple terms for you.
1) That disc is what was bought
2) When I went to reinstall the product when I moved and after doing a clean up of my Mac it asks for the serial
3) I entered the serial
4) The serial worked fine (You know the green tick)
5) After the hour or so wait to finalize I waited and opened Photoshop
6) That was the message you see that I got
7) I the tested another app and I got the same thing.
After this I contacted Adobe and was on a chat case number 0214839318 which may I ad HAS ALL OF THIS IN DETAIL.
this of course was NOT the end, I was asked to show proof which is what you can see!
Oh and Ned guess what....NO HELP!

one at work.
If you need to then put a copy on say, a laptop, you can do
this as well
- but you'd need to uninstall/unregister one of the previous
installs.
