I have had your Firefox browser before. However, I don't have it now. I recently tried to download it but it did not install correctly. Nothing appears on the screen when I open it. What seems to be the Problem?

Certain Firefox problems can be solved by performing a ''Clean reinstall''. This means you remove Firefox and any leftover program files and then reinstall Firefox. Please follow these steps one by one:
#Download the latest Desktop version of Firefox from http://www.mozilla.org and save the setup file to your computer.
#After the download finishes, close all Firefox windows (click Exit from the Firefox or File menu) and confirm all upcoming messages.
#Now, uninstall Firefox by following the steps mentioned in the [[Uninstall Firefox from your computer#w_uninstall-firefox|Uninstall Firefox]] article.

I had the same problem after I gave my old iPad to my parents and tried to install Netflix. This is what you have to do: Open iTunes on your computer, the one you sync your iPad to. Then go to iTunes Store and search for and download Netflix app. After you download it, if your iPad is set to download new purchases it may start downloading on your iPad. If so, tap and hold to delete the app (because it is trying to install the new version on the iPad) Next step, go to the App Store on your iPad and find Netflix and it should say install since you already purchased it on the computer. Tap to install, and it will say the version is not compatible, tap to download a previous version. Click that and it will install the older version! One more thing, if and when you sync to your computer again it will say something like " Unable to install Netflix on your iPad" Just click the box to never remind you again, because it's trying to sync the newer Netflix app to your iPad, but it doesn't work so it displays the message. The old app will remain on the ipad. Hope this helps, good luck

I am on Windows XP. Updated to latest iTunes but it would not install. Tried again and the system hung. I did a restart and iTunes had completely vanished from my system. Tried to do a new install but it won't finalise. Can anyone offer any suggestions?
OK, lets do a complete overhaul to make sure it's working ok.
First to check your Windows system file for any corruption:
Go to command prompt (START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES right mouse click "command prompt" and choose "Run as Administrator"
type in
sfc /scannow
let Windows fix any system files that need to be repaired.
Restart the computer.
Start iTunes and see if it is ok.
If it doesn't, will have to go through the whole process of uninstalling and installing acccording to the following steps:
1. Go to Microsoft website to fix install and Unistall problems. Click "Run now" from Fix it to remove all iTunes & related installer files:

Be aware that Windows Installer CleanUp Utility will not remove the actual program from your computer. However, it will remove the installation files so that you can start the installation, upgrade, or uninstall over.
2. You should remove all instances of iTunes and the rest of the components listed below:
it may be necessary to remove all traces of iTunes, QuickTime, and related software components from your computer before reinstalling iTunes.
Use the Control Panel to uninstall iTunes and related software components in the following order:
iTunes
QuickTime
Apple Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support
Bonjour
Apple Application Support (iTunes 9 or later)

3. Reboot your computer. Next, download iTunes from here:http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/ and install from scratch -

I'm currently using Internet Explorer and it is SO slow. I went to this site and tried to download Mozilla Firefox. It begins to download and then is interrupted by a window that pops up and says the file is corrupted and it shuts down the entire download. This has happened about five times. Please help!

I'm becoming EXTREMELY irritated with Internet Explorer and haven't even been able to really use the internet on my own laptop because of how many problems I have with IE. I've tried NUMEROUS times a day to download Mozilla Firefox and the SAME thing keeps happening. It'll get to about 3% loaded and say it's an Unknown Publisher and I tell it to run anyway and then immediately after that, it says "Extraction Failed: File Corrupt" and the download stops. Airport express was blinking yellow. Tried to update, but my computer said update is not supported (yellow exclamation points). I have a mac pro with Lion and latest updates. So I reset express, yes that was a mistake because it was at least functioning on my stereo, now it does not function at all and shows on my wifi as "airport express", used to be labled "stereo". So it asks for an update, I download the update, but computer will not allow update to be installed. I will buy a newer one if I have to because I enjoy it's function, but I will be extremely disgusted with Apple to have to do so.
If you are using Lion...as you indicate...is it possible that you mistakenly downloaded the incorrect version of AirPort Utility?

I have tried downloading (successfully) addons and themes however Windows 7 tells me that there is an error and it does not recognise the software and cannot open it. Therefore am unable to change or add to Firefox. Am also using Word 2010 sxo am not sure whether or not this is causing the problem.
If you didn't install those addons directly into Firefox, use File > Open File... in Firefox to install them.
