The folder on your internal drive, as viewed in LR, should read zero photos.
The new folder on your external drive, as viewed in LR, should contain the proper number of photos.
I don't know why the internal drive doesn't have extra space now

Tried to combine several pdf that were created by different version of acrobat (i.e. 9, 10 & x). Keep getting missing letter on random pages. anyway to avoid that issue?
If it's a Mac font and you're on Windows, you can't. If you are also on a Mac, you'll need to purchase the fonts (fonts are generally non-transferable, like software. One of the reasons pdf exists), install them and try your edits.
But it's best to edit the original document and create a new pdf when finished. -
What happened to items that were listed on my calendar prior to 2012?
Had many items listed in my calendar going back years in iOS 6. The only ones now listed are from 2013 forward. What happened to those old dates that were listed? Can those items ever be retrieved?
It's set to " all events." That's not the problem. I am trying to have the calendar list go back before 2013 without going month by month and date by date through old calendars to search for items. I can go back to an old calendar and see a grey dot on a particular date, June 3, 2008, for example, and if I open that date I can see that date's hourly calendar, plus the item I had listed for that date. But it's not in the master list. The master list only lists events from 2013. Older items haven't been deleted on the calendar, just from the list.

Have several books that were recently purchased. This week these books have multiplied into at least 20 or more copies within my library. How can I delete them because it will not let me use the edit tab?
Do they have the cloud icon on them ? When I had Settings > iBooks > Show All Purchases 'on' I was getting multiple copies of books that were only in the cloud showing on the bookshelf in the app - turning that setting 'off' stopped them showing (you can see what books are available for redownloading, and redownload them, via the Purchased tab in the ibookstore in the app)

You can't delete it from your purchased list, as that is permanently maintained by the iTunes store. You can, however, prevent it from appearing in your song list by going to Settings>iTunes & App Store and turning off Music under Show All.

I just purchase an IPhone5C to upgrade from my IPhone4, but I do not know how to get all of my photos that were on ICloud on my Photo Stream (875 photos), on to my new phone. Photostream in the cloud only keeps photos from the last 30 days (subject to a 1,000 photo limit). When photostream syncs the photos to your device they will stay there (subject to a 1,000 photo limit) until deleted, which means you may well have more photos in your photostream album on your device than there are in photostream in the cloud.
The consequence of this is that if you turn photostream off and on again on your device (or enable it for the first time), it will only be populated with photos from the last 30 days, which may not be all the photos that were previously in the photostream album on that device. -

I have tried to changed my Apple ID and every time I try to use the new Apple ID it won't let me because when i try to update an app the old ID comes up to sign in. I deleted that account so it will not let me use my new one.

Content is forever tied to the Apple ID that bought it. Apple does not transfer content from one Apple Id to another. Apple does not merge Apple IDs. You will never be able to access your content bought with another Apple ID with a new ID. -

ThanksGo to the iPhoto library (by default in your pictures folder) and right click on it - show package contents - find a folder names import or importing and drag it to the desktop (do not make any other changes of any sort) - close the package and launch iPhoto - you should be find - check the import(ing) folder on the desktop and if it has any photos in it you want import them then trash the fokder

Boot to the Recovery HD:
Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the COMMAND and R keys until the menu screen appears. Alternatively, restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the OPTION key until the boot manager screen appears. Select the Recovery HD and click on the downward pointing arrow button.
When the menubar appears select Terminal from the Utilities menu. Enter resetpassword at the prompt and press RETURN. Follow instructions in the dialog window that will appear.

Be sure to open Keychain Access and repair the keychain:

My hard drive was replaced last week on my macbook pro. The geek squad from Best Buy backed up all my information prior to replacing the hard drive. They reinstalled everything on the new hard drive including iTunes. When I opened I tunes, i had some but not all my songs listed. All my playlists and purchases were missing. I attempted to sync my iPod so my playlist and information would be reinstalled but iTunes does not recognize the iPod to allow it to sync.

In order to see your device in iTunes you may just need to select the option to have the Sidebar shown, something that by default is not displayed. This is where Devices and other items are displayed that you may be trying to locate.
