I tried to give feedback & I was told I was not using the latest version of Firefox. I upgraded, restarted my computer, then I got the same response. Therefore, I can't give feedback.
Here's my feedback: Make it easier to make Firefox your default browser. I shouldn't have to use a help menu to figure this out.
@sjpierce - I don't believe that this is a Firefox-specific issue, but it does sound like you have some sort of malware on your machine. What was this innocuous link that you clicked on? A lot of viruses and malware make their rounds on Facebook.
Regardless, what I would do is this ( I assume you're running Windows):
* Download the Free and awesome Microsoft Security Essentials (MSE) via [http://www.microsoft.com/security_essentials/ http://www.microsoft.com/security_essentials/]
* Next update MSE and do a full system scan to ensure you don't have any existing malware on your machine. If so, clean it off and reboot. Keep doing this until you come up clean.
* Refer to this article on SUMO [[Profiles|Profiles]]
* Delete your old Firefox profile, create a new one and launch Firefox 4 again using the new profile
You should be back to normal at this point.
If you are running an OS like Mac OS X or Linux, it's unlikely that you have malware and you should probably clean your Firefox profile and start over again.

I was going to say either that or to remove the email from your email account settings(on ipad) and put it back on. Happens everytime im forced to change my work email password. I need to delete the account and add it again for it to accept the new password.

When I turned in my iTunes account b/c fraud activity had been detected while my iPhone was not working so they disenabled my iTunes account but I got my new apple id back to download free games but I can't use my debit card anymore and want to use the same card as that is the only access I have as a form of payment
You can give feed back to Apple from the iTunes drop-down menu in the iTunes menu bar..

Where exactly did you get this message? Are you trying to set up iCloud, iTunes & App Stores, just an email account?

Word opens fine in other browsers.
The web link, ending in doc, appears at the bottom of the page - but Firefox just stays on the original page.Ok, when you go to the Content menu, you see a list of files which are set to open with a particular program by default.
To change the application, click the one which is assigned to it already and then from the dropdown menu which appears, click the bottom option called "Use Other".
This will open a menu where you'll see another set of apps you can use to open the file with. If Microsoft Word is not in the list, click the "Browse" button and then navigate to the folder containing Word.exe. I don't have it on my system, but I believe you'll find it in C:\Program Files\Microsoft\Word -

Transfer them to your computer using File>Transfer Purchases in iTunes, then sync them to the new phone. You can not re-download ringtones like you can music.

I tried downloading iTunes to my computer. It gives me an error where it says can not find iTunes Helper. I uninstalled all iTunes, restarted my computer, and then tried again. I keep getting the same error everyime. What can I do?

With the Error 2, let's try a standalone Apple Application Support install. It still might not install, but fingers crossed any error messages will give us a better idea of the underlying cause of the issue.
Download and save a copy of the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64setup.exe) installer file to your hard drive:

I have a brand new HP dv8t laptop that is straight from the manufacturer 2 days ago.
Last night, I attempted to download and installed the latest version of Firefox. After installing, it worked great for an hour or so (3.4 different sessions).
Then, this morning when I came back to the computer, Firefox crashes at startup and gives me the option of finding a solution online or quitting the program.
How aggravating!
I have installed this same version on 2 other computers that I own, without any issue.
I have attempted to uninstall Firefox from the dv8 and reinstalling, to no avail.

In most cases you can simply "upgrade" (meaning downgrade) directly from the installation. It would be a good idea to save your passwords & bookmarks just to be on the safe side. -

My iMessage stopped working when I did the latest update on my phone. I have literally tried everything to reset it. I am currently not in the US, but my iMessage has always worked when I was in wifi and my phone is still activated. I have tried to reset my network settings, my location, and even the reset all settings. When I click on my settings and iMessage it says that it is still waiting for activation... and my phone number is grayed out. I am able to recieve an iMessage to my email and that could work for right now but i'm not sure how to start a conversation the defaults to being sent from my email and not my cell phone number. please help!

Really strange problem you have there. I have a few questions though.
Please try again and try to make the phone as a new without restoringen with you iCloud-data or backup-data from iTunes. Maybe it is something wrong with the data (strange).
Anyway, i think you should call Apple Support or visit an Apple Store, don't forgot to make a Genius Bar reservation.
