I tried to install CS4. It installed with errors. How do I reinstall it so it does not have errors

Please help. I am unable to move to Creative Cloud as we have tremendously slow internet service in the area. The CS4 program offers most of the features I require so I haven't upgraded.

What errors are you getting? Be as detailed as possible - use screenshots if you cannot describe what you see.

If you really do not have enough space on your HDD for a backup of your iPad, you do not have enough space at all. Free up at least 15% of your HDD, in any case more than 0.8GB for the iPad update.
Make backups on an external disk.
After freeing up enough space, try again.

Look on one of your bank statements and be sure to enter the billing address exactly as it shows on the statement. Some folks forget where they actually get the statement. They put their home address in iTunes/Mac App Store and they actually get the statement at their place of employment or vice versa.

First thing to try is emptying the trash to get more space.
Go to the Finder -> File Menu -> Empty Trash.
This will free up some space.
Next look at your Download folder. Click on "Size" to sort by largest to smallest. This is where you have downloaded files over time and you should be able to delete a good amount of them, if you don't need them any more, to clear up space. Select the files you want to get rid of and hit "Command-Delete". This will move them to the Trash. You will then need to Empty the Trash again.
You can also look through your documents for large files. Do the same think, click on "Size" in the finder window to sort by largest to smallest.
Lastly, look at your applications folder. Unlike a PC, you can just Delete applications. Now certain data will still remain, but the bulky items will go away by doing the same "Command-Delete" on the applications you don't want.
Don't forget, after you have deleted things, you need to Empty the Trash.

The only way to close the x-less tabs is to right click and select Close tab. How do I tweak it so there are always X's? Like Rob I'm a Windows user, and - like him - I thought "uninstalling" on Macs was simply a case of trashing the application. Google would seem to concur.
