I set up my iPad mini without a computer and have been using it for months. Now, when trying to connect it to my mac it asks if I want to set up as new iPad or restore from back up (Which I don't have).
Is there a way I can connect to my computer and itunes without losing everything I've done on it for the past months?Go ahead and set it up as new. It's just new as far as iTunes is concerned. Shouldn't result in the loss of anything.

i have set up my wifes ipad mini wirelesly, i am now connecting for first time to itunes it asks if i want to set up as new ipad or restore from previous backup (my iphone not ipad), i have backed ipad up to icloud when i connect back to itunes will it give me an option to restore from icloud, i dont want to lose the apps and data my wife has already installed through her account... any thoughts

2. transfer you wife's purchases.
3. Just in case create one computer back up manually.

The program was working fine..now nothing. I have un-installed it several times...re-installed it several times. Will not even open in safe mode.

If the new profile does work, you can transfer selected data such as bookmarks and passwords to the new profile. I would not copy preferences or extensions, instead re-install the extensions. Be grateful for your help with Photoshop Elements which I have been using for several years. Does Elements need to have access to ‘My Pictures’ on Windows as when I remove Photos from ‘My Pictures’, Elements later, when backing up, gives a message that it is unable to ‘reconnect’ to the same picture on elements. On other occasions when removing a photo from Elements catalogue I also get a similar message when backing up saying ‘unable to reconnect’. 1. Is there a relationship between Elements and My Pictures and is Elements dependant on the Windows ‘My Pictures’? 2. Why does some photos in Elements in some cases cause them to multiply e.g. double; triple; quadruple; and on occasions even more? Is there something I need to do to stop this or an easy way I can remove the multiples without spending hours doing it manually one by one? Am I doing something wrong? My O/S is Windows XP SP2 and windows Vista on my Laptop. I have been using Elements 5 and have just purchased Photoshop Elements 8.0. (Upgrade) and about to install it. Be grateful for any advice as I do enjoy using the program if only I can resolve this issue. I am not a PC wiz and mainly use Elements to catalogue photos from which I compile collections and from them slide shows with music. The organizer doesn't care where you send your photos when you download them via the downloader or where they happen to be when you first bring them in if you use the Get Photos command, but once your pics are in the Organizer, you *must* move them from within organizer or it can't find them. You don't have to use My Pictures at all if you don't want to, but regardless of the folder where you put your photos, if you want them someplace else, you use organizer to do it.

I have used Firefox on my computer for several years. Today, after upgrading to the new version, I was not able to open Firefox. I have tried several times uninstalling and re-downloading Firefox. It still will not open! Is the new version not compatible with Windows Vista?

You will have to close firefox.exe with the Windows Task Manager from the "Processes" tab of the WTM since you don't have a widow to close.
The best way to close Firefox is through File > Exit, for those who stuck with the "Firefox" button click on the Firefox button then Exit. It is not perfect but it is a lot better than just closing the window with the "X" in the upper right corner -
I have a problem with the synchronisation of my iPhone and iPad with Outlook 2007 on my 64-bit Windows 7 PC. For several years,
I have had no problems with the synchronisation by cord connection and iTunes between these programmes. However, a few months ago I decided to use Mobile Me. However, there were problems with duplication of calendars and then “rogue events” – which could not be deleted – even if deleted on Outlook and on the iPhone (or both at the same time) – they would just reappear after the next synchronisation. All other synchronisation areas (eg Contacts, Notes etc) work fine.
I have looked for help through the Apple Support Community and tried many things. I have repaired my Outlook. I have repaired my .pst file in Windows. I have re-installed the latest version of iTunes on my PC. I have re-installed the firmware on my iPhone. I have tried many permutations on my iPhone. I have closed down all Mobile Me functions on the iPhone. I have spent upwards of 24 hours trying to solve this problem.
What am I left with? Outlook works seamlessly on my PC. My iPhone calendar now has no events from my calendar, but does not synchronise through iTunes. Nor does it send events initiated on the iPhone to the Outlook. I am at the point of abandoning iPhones and iPads altogether. I need to have a properly synchronising calendar on my phone. Do you have any suggestions?In the control panel goto the "Lenovo - Power Manager" and click the battery tab, there is a maintenance button in there that will let you change the charging profile for your battery. (from memory, so exact wording may be off)
The lower the numbers you use there, the longer the battery *should* last. These batteries degrade faster at higher charge levels, however storing them at too low of levels is also not good for them... I've read that 40% is optimal, but just not realistic if you use your computer.

Have been using an iPhone and sysncing with Outlook through iTunes for several years. Downloaded the recent update to iTunes and now sycing of contacts & calendars is not occuring. I did see that i had to recheck to sync contacts and calendars again and have done this, but still no syncing is occuring. Any suggestions?

I have Photoshop Eleent 12 and use a Windows PC. I hae been using a Canon EOS 50D for several years, which uses a Compact Flash Card. I have always downloaded pictures by using a card reader wich I connect to my computer. I Go to the Organizer, click on "Import" and select "From camera or card reader". Once on the Photo Downloader, I select the pictures, chose the folder and click on "Get Media" and all the photos get downloaded. Today I folled the same procedure as always, but ZI'm gettig an error message that reads"Import Failed" followed by another message that reads "Nothing was imported. The file(s) or folder(s) selected to import did not contain any supported file types, or the files are already in this Catalog." I'm puzzled by this message and don't know what to do o get my photos. Any suggestions?

I am using a Canon 640 printer and my MPNavigator will not remain open. It pops open then quickly closes. I've used it for several years but it just started doing this. What can I do to fix this problem?
I had a similar problem with a Canon MP800R under Mac OS X 10.9.2 Mavericks.
In my case, the MP Navigator app in the dock was linking to the wrong file.
It linked to Applications > MP Navigator 2.1.app > Contents > Resources > MP Navigator.app, but it should link to the "main" app, probably under Applications > MP Navigator 2.1.app.
After pulling the correct MP Navigator app file to the dock, I can start MP Navigator again by clicking on it in the dock. However, when clicking on it, a second MP Navigator icon will show up in the dock and stay there until the app is closed. By the way, the MP800R scanner also works (although officially not supported by Canon). -
Since updating to LR5.5 it crashes about every 5-10 images while working in the development module. Computer is PC Windows 7 Home Premium. I have been using this computer for several years with zero problems. Is this related to the updating? What is the fix?

I have asked why there is no LTE coverage at my home for several years now and Verizon has failed to get back to me every time.
So forgive me, I'll ask again now since it is the end of the year.
The LTE icon never appears when I'm at home. Same for my MiFi gadget.
Your online coverage map shows that there should be coverage for me.
Any ideas?
