I tried to open my HP laptop. Is warranty still valid?
I tried to open my laptop and clean it. But apart from openeing the board locks, I couldn't do anything else. I put it back again. But anyone can tell it was opened.Fast foreward 2 months.My laptop isn't turning on. It might be a power issue or some say it might be a faulty motherboard.When I took this for repair in authorised serice center, they say your warranty is not valid. Is it true?Nothing in the laptop's inner circuit has been touched. Please help!

I have paid full membership 3 days ago but when i tried to open AI, PS and ID it still prompt me to enter serial no. I will tell you honestly. I have tried almost everything to fix the issues. I even tried to call Adobe Technical Support so I can fix the activation issue but no answer after waiting for about an hour on the line. I ask the chat but they just kept saying wait for another 24 hrs it should be updated now it has been about 4 days and no changes. I am extremely frustrated to cause I need to work on my computer. So where can I get help? they prompt me to here btw, many many times.

I am trying to open my iTunes on a Windows XP laptop and get the error message 42404 "iTunes application could not be opened. Please repair or reinstall QuickTime". I did that and it did not help. Any ideas?

I just bought an HD movie on iTunes. Yesterday, I watched all but twenty minutes of it on my Dell laptop. Today, I tried to open it on the same laptop, and it told me my computer can't play HD movies, that I have to view it in SD. The error message said that my computer didn't have the capabilities, but I have several other HD movies that I have always and can still watch without issue. Just this one doesn't work. Why, and do you know how to fix this?
Apparently the display is required to be HDCP compatible to view HD movies in iTunes. My display isn't so this is my problem. I contacted Apple support and they have agreed to credit me for the HD movie and I have now downloaded the SD version.

i have a system error when trying to open my itunes on my laptop. Should I unistall and reinstall itunes?

Changed battery in laptop and now when trying to open dreamweaver cs3, I get "licensing for this product has stopped working"... contact customer support (thats a laugh). So what now?
it says: You cannot use this product at this time. You must repair the problem by uninstalling and then reinstalling this product or contacting your IT admin or Adobe customer support for help.
Well it seems I am only able to install this on a maximum of 3 computers so if I uninstall and reinstall I may have used up all three. What caused this in the first place?And most licenses extend to 2 machines; not 3. Your computer's clock probably reset when you changed batteries. Is your computer's clock set to the correct date and time now?

Out of no where my laptop is trying to open everything in adobe reader and i want it to stop.
Every sinle icon is runed by adobe reader now and i want it to stop because adobe reader cant open the internet it cant open anything on my laptop. I tryed to open something in adobe reader and then every single thing changed. I thought it was just something that would go away but instead of all the icons just looking like it, now they are runned by it too. so it got worse when i turned it off. Can anyone please help.

I am not able to open any app on my iphone. While i'm trying to open an app it just shake the screen and it does not open and remains in the same screen. It worked fine until I charged the phone this evening. After that suddenly I'm facing this. Please can anyone help me to recover this issue? pls!

A restore does. If you are using the iphone as designed, then everything should be on your computer. -

From the Start menu, click Computer.
In the Organize menu, click Folder and Search Options.
Click the View tab.
In the "Advanced settings" pane under "Hidden files and folders" make sure that the "Show hidden files and folders" option is selected.
Click OK.
Navigate to the following location by either typing it into the address bar, copying and pasting it into the address bar, or clicking through the folder hierarchy listed: C:\Program Data\Apple Computer\iTunes\SC Info
Right-click the SC Info.sidb file shown and on the shortcut menu, click Delete.
Right-click the SC Info.sidd file shown and on the shortcut menu, click Delete.
Restart the computer and open iTunes. -
I am trying to open photoshop elements 11 which I purchased and downloaded but it is telling me I need an app to do so. What do I need in order to open photoshop elelements 11 and where to I find it?
From where did you purchase Elements? If you didn't get it from the Mac App Store, from where did you get it and what is the file format, or just the full name of the file?

I was updating Firefox to the newest version 7.0.1 from version 6.0.2 I think it was, I clicked the restart Firefox button that always comes up after updating. It started updating and then Firefox never restarted like it was supposed to after it was done updating. I then tried to open Firefox and it told me "This application has failed to start because xul.dll was not found." I did have Firefox crash on maybe about 30 minutes or so earlier which bothered me because I have been using Firefox for years and never had it crash on me before but I didn't think much of it at the time it happened because I was able to go back onto Firefox and finish what I had been working on. A while later I checked for updates and updated. The first time I tried to update it didn't work though so I had to shutdown Firefox and reopen Firefox and start the update a second time. It was after the second time that when I tried to open Firefox I got that message about failing to start because xul.dll can't be found. I filed a crash report when my Firefox crashed. This would have been around 1am-2am in the morning that Firefox first crashed and then wouldn't allow me to open it after updating. I have a DELL laptop running the Windows XP operating system but the laptop is probably at least 6 or 7 years old. The laptop will no longer charge so I always have to have it plugged into an outlet. Both my laptop hard drive and my external hard drive give me messages that I am running out of disk space on my hard drive. I bought this laptop 6 or 7 years ago second hand so it could be even older. In short it's a piece of crap and it gives me all kinds of issues but I currently can't afford a new one, but I have never had any problems with Firefox and I use Firefox more than any other aspect of my laptop so it's really really bothering me. May you please help me fix it?
Unfortunately I tried that and it didn't work. Thanks for the help though. I tried to uninstall and it said I couldn't because the file is corrupt or something, but I think I finally got it uninstalled and/or deleted or whatever, but now I try to reinstall/download it again from the beginning and I can't. No matter what I do I can not get Firefox working again. No matter how many times I try to redownload it. Any other suggestions?

I programmed a set of quizzes in Director 8.0 for one of my courses about ten years ago and have been updating them since. And, yes, I did purchased 11.5, but can't use it because I can't use printing w POM or a number of other extras anymore. My semester is about to start and Adobe has updated the Shockwave player in Windows over the summer (I think?) causing my quizzes to not work in a web browser. I am getting this message and can't figure out what is causing it:

I have been working on this for a day and a half and am stumped. I made two apps in 11.5 for WIndows .exe and Mac .app that partially work, but can't get the quizzes to work in Firefox 13 or IE 9. I searched the web and could not find anything useful. I found a message in this forum from back in 2009 where someone had a similar problem and Sean WIlson said to add a parameter that specifed Player version =11, but that was back in 2009. I tried that PARAM and still get the error. I tried updating the quiz menu .dcr on the web to 11.5, but that didn't work. With all of the updates lately to browsers, the Shockwave plug-in, and Director 11.5, I don't know what is generating the error. I am assuming its Shockwave player doesn't like something, but have no idea what this movie reference to an incorrect version of Shockwave player is referring to. We're up to player 11.6 now. Do we have to include this in the embed statement or is there something else that is causing this error? Please help, thanks!
Edit: Oddly, the quizzes are still working on a MacBook Pro using Firefox 13.0.1. I don't know what the Shockwave Player version is. On the Windows 7 side of this MacBook running bootcamp, it was running Shockwave Player 11.6.4. I thought maybe I should uninstall it and install the latest 11.6.6, which I did. The latest version of Shockwave made no difference on Windows 7. I also tried to run the quizzes on an HP laptop running Windows Vista, Firefox 14.0.1 and Shockwave Player 11.6 installed back Jan 2012 accoridng to the Control Panel. Same error message. Tried it using IE 8, which just seemed to do a Shockwave update - no problem the quizzes run.Send me a Private Message and I'll provide an email address where you could send your DCR and HTML and I'll see if I can help.
