I tried to open Photoshop CS5 but I get an error 6: 'Please install and reinstall the product', I don't have the software for mac anymore, any solutions?

I was wondering if someone else had the same problem, do I have to uninstall my photoshop or there is a better solution?
I'm guessing a plugin is missing?

The order varies depending on your individual needs:
1. Maybe you have to activate/deactivate, so please have a look there:

3. Did you already try "uninstalling and re-installing"? Be careful with (de)installing aso. by (de)installing by your own resources. In this case you should CC completely delete and reinstall by help of Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool. (A try to uninstall by own resources is not enough!)

I have two versions of Pr, one is the latest 2014 and when trying to open a Pr2014 session, I get an error message saying the project was saved in a newer version and cannot be opened. Could there be an issue with an older Pr application on the computer? Please help!
You need to be very careful which project you open in which version.
For 2014 make sure its on 2014.1 build 81. -
trying to log into firefox but keep getting firefox is in offline mode and can't browse the web, I've unchecked the work offline in the file menu but still get error message...
The work offline option can be found from Firefox button -> Web developer or from the menubar toolbar -> Work offline (Or at least thats what happens in Windows).
Have you any other reason for being offline; router off, firefox not dialing up or whatever. Or is security software or a firewall blocking firefox, or a network connection, or firefox setting etc set wrongly.

Right. If you are using delegated privs and sudo, make sure that sudo is configured to pass on the PERL5LIB and ORACLE_HOME environment variables at least.

I'm trying to compress a file but I get an error that "I don't have permission to access dovecot." How do I get this permission?
I ended up doing just as you said and downloading the program seperately. However, I'd like to point out that after I downloaded the server.app to my MBA it did allow me to compress it. For some reason it wouldn't let me do it from the server so I could airdrop it over. I'd only get the error previously mentioned. Must be a server thing eh?

I have win7, outlook 2007 tried to sync with icloud but I get an error message and my calendar is blank. I do not see my outlook calendar, on the left pane under all calandar I see my me account checked and all others are unchecked. I looked at icloud and all the data is in and the iphones syncl with ipad but something is not right with my PC Outlook. I cannot get back to the good old mobileme. Thanks APPLE? When did Apple turn into piece of ****? It prompted me to update itunes and install icloud. I did. It crashed saying it was not properly installed and reinstall it. Since then I have been trying. I worry if my thousands of dollars worth of music is lost
I had a very similar problem, error 4251. (look in your log you will see that error) Since I finally fixed my problem, I thought I would see if I can help someone else.
What I found is that I lost burn ability in both iTunes AND Windows. Like you did. I did some digging and found that this wasn't hardware related at all. In fact, this boils down to a registry key getting messed up. (sigh) Yeah. It causes the system to get a bad 'handle'.
OK, here's what to try. Go to this Microsoft KB article. Scroll down and find the *manual* instructions for Vista. Delete the registry key that it specifies. Reboot. Now verify that you can burn in Windows. (If you have a RW disc, do a disc erase, or just try and burn from Windows Media Player.) If that is working now, you're on the right track.
Now the issue is that iTunes will still be broken. Go and install the latest Gear driver. (I know you may have done it, but do it again.) Now follow the intructions in this Apple KB article to verify the "GEARAspiWDM" info is back there in the registry. Now reboot. Try and burn in iTunes.

I have a m-audio producer usb microphone and since the update on Dec. 22, 2013 Logic hasn't been allowing me to record with it. Logic is reading the microphone as the input but the audio tracks don't have the record enable button and won't let me select an input for the audio track on the inspector panel. What are some possible solutions.
Certain M-Audio USB devices (along with some other USB2 class compliant devices that don't use drivers) no longer work with Logic Pro X 10.0.5
At this time it is unknown as to why this has happened. Nor is it known if Apple will need to fix it or if it is up to the Developers of said USB2 devices to remedy the problem.
In the mean time, assuming you made/could make backups prior to updating to 10.0.5.... the solution is to roll back to LPX 10.0.4... -

From where did you purchase Elements? If you didn't get it from the Mac App Store, from where did you get it and what is the file format, or just the full name of the file?
