I tried to put my ipod in dfu mode and now it wont turn back on?
my ipod was diabled and it said i had to connect it to itunes. then i was told to put it into dfu mode. i tried to do that but now my ipod wont turn back on. HELP?
Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode
How to put iPod touch / iPhone into DFU mode « Karthik's scribblings
- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

Hey lattifahfromny,
Thanks for the question. Based on the information you have provided, the following resource may assist you:
iPhone: Hardware troubleshooting
http://support.apple.com/kb/TS2802
Will not turn on, will not turn on unless connected to power, or unexpected power off
1. Verify that the Sleep/Wake button functions. If it does not function, inspect it for signs of damage. If the button is damaged or is not functioning when pressed, seek service.

I put my iPod Touch into DFU mode and now it wont turn on
I put my iPod touch into DFU mode (i dont even know what that is!) after spending 6 hours trying to restore it-long story the IOS 6 download- and now I need to turn it on. I need it for tommarow.
Help Please????No, ive only tried the one.
When I connect my iPod and click restore 15 minuetes later i get a response saying it wont restore. -
i have tried to install new update on iphone 5 and now it wont turn on when i plug it in the charger it just shows i need to connect to itunes.
Given the state your device is in you have already erased your old stuff. You have an image on the screen that says, "Connect to iTunes." That's what the image means. So you will need iTunes on your computer.
Upgrading iOS
1. How to update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch
2. iPhone Support
3. iPod Touch Support

a. Updating Your iOS from iOS 5 or Later
Tap Settings > General > Software Update
If an update is available there will be an active Update button. If you are current,
then you will see a gray screen with a message saying your are up to date.

Try reseting. You may lose everything on phone though
To reset
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
'Home Button' is the Black depression in the Iphone that you can press
'Sleep/Wake Button' is the black raised area at the top of the Iphone -

Hello Cooper,
Thank you for the details of the issue you are experiencing with your iPhone 5. I would be concerned too if my iPhone was not powering on. I found an article with steps you can take when you encounter an issue like this. I recommend following the steps below:
Will not turn on, will not turn on unless connected to power, or unexpected power off
Verify that the Sleep/Wake button functions. If it does not function, inspect it for signs of damage. If the button is damaged or is not functioning when pressed, seek service.
Check if a Liquid Contact Indicator (LCI) is activated or there are signs of corrosion. Learn about LCIsand corrosion.
Connect the iPhone to the iPhone's USB power adapter and let it charge for at least ten minutes.
After at least 30 minutes, if:
The home screen appears: The iPhone should be working. Update to the latest version of iOS if necessary. Continue charging it until it is completely charged and you see this battery icon in the upper-right corner of the screen . Then unplug the phone from power. If it immediately turns off, seek service.
The low-battery image appears, even after the phone has charged for at least 20 minutes: See "iPhone displays the low-battery image and is unresponsive" symptom in this article.
Something other than the Home screen or Low Battery image appears, continue with this article for further troubleshooting steps.
If the iPhone did not turn on, reset it while connected to the iPhone USB power adapter.
If the display turns on, go to step 4.
If the display remains black, go to next step.
Connect the iPhone to a computer and open iTunes. If iTunes recognizes the iPhone and indicates that it is in recovery mode, attempt to restore the iPhone. If the iPhone doesn't appear in iTunes or if you have difficulties in restoring the iPhone, see this article for further assistance.
If restoring the iPhone resolved the issue, go to step 4. If restoring the iPhone did not solve the issue, seek service.
My issue is still not resolved. What do I do next?

Today i plugged my ipod in to charge and now it wont turn on!
Today i plugged my iPod touch 2g in to charge and when i came back 1 hr later i was unable to turn it on, charge it, and even my computer didn't recognise it. The screen is completely black and im worried about what to do. I tried a manual reboot, and putting it into DFU mode but to no effect. The iPod is quite old and i'm pretty sure it it out of warranty so i can only hope the problem is fixable. Any help would be much appreciated, thanks in advance.

I updated my 20G iPod with click wheel and now it wont turn on all the way
Ok so I updated my 20G iPod with click wheel with the latest version (three point something), and now when i try to turn it on, it shows the apple logo and then has a pic of an ipod being plugged into a power adapter being plugged into a wall socket. i have reset it about 40 times and it always does the same thing. i have tried to charge the ipod with my computer but it does absolutely nothing (i dont have a power adapter). Also, when i reset my ipod WHEN IT IS PLUGGED INTO THE COMPUTER, it shows the "Very low battery" picture. Also, my computer does not see the iPod in "my computer" or iTunes. I have another iPod, which works perfectly on my computer. I thank anyone who tries to help me.
Windows XPYou must have a charge of your iPod with an ac charger, in order to complete the Restore process.
You can also charge your iPod with
1. iPod car charger
2. iPod speaker dock system e.g. iPod HiFi or Bose soundstage
