I tried to recover my apple ID by reseting my password, but it still says my Apple ID is disabled.

I solved that particular problem for myself (although I am running iTunes 11 under Snow Leopard on an iMac) by deselecting one of my Users Admin. privs. You see, I had two users w/admin privs & iTunes now plays nicely when there is only one admin.
Otherwise, I would keep getting stuck in an "infinite loop" of resetting passwords over & over and still iTunes was a mess - albeit on an intermittent basis which was absolutely driving me nuts!
I also think that firing up Safari and signing into my account @ apple first seems to help; providing that an apple cookie gets placed in my machine before I go to the iTunes store and enjoy surfing around there.

The usual reasons for an Apple ID getting disabled are either unauthorized activity or violations of the Terms & Conditions.
Submit your request to iTunes Customer Service and if appropriate, they will re-enable it. -
When trying to update my apps on my phone, after logging in it says my account has been disabled for security reasons. I've updated my password but it still says its disabled. Any thoughts?!

I need to free up space in my storage, and I can do that if I can figure out how to delete my saved text messages. Anyone out there know how in the world I can accomplish this?
I have tried to delete them one by one, but it still says that I have 2.3 GB of saved messages!
I am not the saviest when it comes to operating this phone. Any help would be appreciated!
THANKS SO MUCH!There's no way to delete all message threads at one go. You can however do one contact thread at a time.
In Messages app where you see a list of messages from different contacts, tap Edit (top left), tap the red (on the left), then tap the red Delete button on the right. -
I tried to update my iphone 4 apps, but it said the password i was entering was wrong - it wasn't. I reset my password anyway on my computer and then tried again. It still said my password was wrong and said I could update my apps on the apple store (I haven't had any luck doing this). I just want my phone to recognise my password and not keep telling me that it is wrong when it isn't!
Apps bought using one AppleID cannot be changed. They are forever tied to that AppleID. You can change the email associated with the AppleID but not the AppleID itsellf.

Did you try downloading a song or a book, or anything other than an app? There is free content available in all of the stores, so try to download anything else and see if that works.
You you can also try refreshing your ID by signing put in iTunes>App Store>Apple ID. Tap the ID and sign out, restart your iPad and then go back to the settings and sign in again.
IF that fails, seek help from Apple here.

And in case you need to know what the "time-out" error means, it means that either (1) your internet connection is not strong enough to allow your computer to load the page within the browser's time-out time-limit or (2) the server on which the website is located is too bogged down to send the necessary info to your computer within the browser's set time-out time-limit.
I just thought I would share in case the context helps solve the same problem in other scenarios.

If you mean that t's disabled then you might be able to re-enable it via this page : http://appleid.apple.com, then 'reset your password'
Or you might need to contact Apple : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page
If it then works on your computer's iTunes but not your iPad / iPhone / iPod Touch then try logging out of your account on the device by tapping on your id in Settings > Store (Settings > iTunes & App Stores on iOS 6) and then log back in and see if that 'refreshes' the account on it -
