I tried to remove a role from one of my 2012R2 DC's and now I basically can't do anything to that DC. Attempting pretty much anything on it tells me that it can't do it because it needs a reboot, and a reboot fixes nothing. The role I wanted
to delete is removed (print services), but I can't re-add it, or change any other role or feature. There is a 'pending.xml' file, and it is rather large. I can't delete, or rename the 'pending.xml' file, as it is owned by 'TrustedInstaller'. This
is the FSMO DC and there are some other services on it that I would rather not have to re-install and reconfigure. I've looked for other things that could prohibit installs and more, but there are no 'Pending Renames' in the registry.
At least getting server manager to stop complaining would be a good start.

Chkdsk command to check the status of the disk in the current drive. any find?

Just a confirmation, did you mean that had un-install
print services successfully? No error occurred? Please check relevant log file (such as event log file and so on) if find some errors. In addition, I noticed that you attempt to re-install the role. Did you get any error message when failed to re-install?
Did you use Install-WindowsFeature PowerShell command to install? Any difference?

Hi All,
My requirement is to remove a role from the user so the resources assigned to that role has to be deleted once the role is removed from the user. But I am having some trouble to remove the role in the workflow.
I am checking out the view of type User and removing the role from waveset.roles and then checking in the view. I don't see any errors but the role is not getting removed from the user and in turn the end resource is not getting deleted.
Can anybody post some points like what is the correct way to remove the role from the user in the workflow itself.

Nevermind, actually I managed to solve the issue, there was mistake in the express code.
I have one question, can you help me? I am removing a role from a user and for example there are 2 resources (A and B) assigned to the role, while removing the role from the user it is deleting the account in both resources A and B but I don't want to delete the account in resource B. Is there a way to do this?
I am the checking out and checking in the user view and I am using the following code but it is not working. It is deleting the account from both the resources.

Then stop trying to use HomeShare and use one of the other options listed in the document from which your question was posted.

Read the steps carefully as the order in which you follow them is critical. Note that you can do this only when creating a new Apple ID. You cannot use an existing ID.
You will of course not be able to get anything other than the free apps without entering in some sort of payment method (credit card, prepaid iTunes card, gift certificate, etc.)

Iam not able to push back that char. from my operating concern. In help it is given you have to delete the data contents in the table before pushing back. Please let me know if any other option available.

Trying to move a users from one database to another gives error

When I try moving a user from one database to another I get an error, but one some PC's installed with EMC, gives no problems. So what could the the issue here, I tried googling, but came out without any solution. Exchange 2010 sp3, EMC on Windows 7 pc.
The error message is:
The move request for user is invalid. The user's Active Directory identity doesn't match the mailbox identity in the
move request. It was running command "Get-MoveRequestStatistics -identity.....

Is this 1 specific mailbox or any mailbox? Things to consider:
Make sure that your Exchange management tools are running the same build as your Exchange server (2010 SP3 RUx).
Try using the Exchange Management Shell and typing Set-ADServerSettings -ViewEntireForest $True
You might need to use the RUN AS ADMINISTRATOR when open Exchange tools
Try running Clean-MailboxDatabase against each DB -

You need an external editor for that kind of work.
In order of price here are some suggestions:
Seashore (free)
Graphic Coverter ($45 approx)
Acorn ($50 approx)
Photoshop Elements ($75 approx)
There are many, many other options. Search on MacUpdate.
You can set Photoshop (or any image editor) as an external editor in iPhoto. (Preferences -> General -> Edit Photo: Choose from the Drop Down Menu.) This way, when you double click a pic to edit in iPhoto it will open automatically in Photoshop or your Image Editor, and when you save it it's sent back to iPhoto automatically. This is the only way that edits made in another application will be displayed in iPhoto.

How to copy a role from one client to another in a system using the CUA?

I have a question about transporting roles. We have CUA configured on our SAP system. Our development environment contains several clients. Recently I created a role by using PFCG in the development environment named E1D-100. Later there was a need to affect a user by this role but on another client of the development environment named E1D-200.
How can I transport a role from a client of the development environment to another client of the same environment.
While I use SU01 to assign the role, after clicking on "user comparing", I can see that the new created role exists on E1D-100 (the client of the development environment where the role was created), but I see that the role doesn't exist on the other client E1D-200.
How should I proceed?

How do I remove a picture from one album, but keep it in another?

I have created an aditional album along with the default "Camera Roll" and I have moved certain pictures from "Camera Roll" into the new album. I no longer have the need for the picture to be in "Camera Roll" but when I tried to delete it, I got this message: "This photo is used in an album. Do you want to delete it everywhere?" The only options are "Delete Everywhere" and "Cancel". How can I (If I can) remove ceratain images from the "Camera Roll" while still keeping them in a different album?

Yeah, i got the idea of the photostream, cameraroll (finally)...
Putting a photo in new album in iphone is just "tagging" or adding "pointers" to a photo. a photo in camera roll can "appear" in many albums. Sounds like gmail label...
And,
Put a photo in the camera roll, it will sync to photostream (iphone). Photostream will sync to photostream (macbook) . If i delete the photo from camera roll, it will not sync back from photostream (iphone, macbook) and the photo in my macbook is left untouch. leaving only the photo at photostream (iphone and macbook) only.

Yes, you should not have any trouble.
In Editor, go to the expert tab.
Open picture B, the one you wish to select something from (the dog) to add to another picture.
Use one of the selection tools, e.g. selection brush, lasso tool, to select the object. You will see an outline ("marching ants") once the selection is complete
Go to Edit menu>copy to copy the selection to the clipboard
Open picture A, then go to Edit>paste
Use the move tool to position object from picture B.
In the layers palette you should see picture A as the background layer, and object B on a separate layer.
