The RC helicopter's directions say its available in the App store for Apple and here it is in the iTunes store:

So,there was no necessity of creating DNS.How your app communicates with db shouldn't matter for the end user. Still, you may want to use a functional network name also for the thin client driver connection string.
So,is there any other way to solve this problem.What is the problem really? Do you not use dns for network naming? Maybe you have to manage the hosts file on every client then.

App Store featured and top chart items are blank

When i go to the App Store I can see purchased items, can update current apps and see Genius items but when i go to Featured tab and Top Chart these are both blank?

I would suggest logging out of the iTunes store on your iPhone, closing all apps, and restarting the iPhone to address this issue.
Sign Out of App Store
Settings > iTunes & App Stores
Tap on your Apple ID
Tap Sign Out
Close All Apps
iOS: Force an app to close
From the Home screen, click the Home button twice.
Tap and hold on the app.
When it starts to jiggle, tap the red dot with the minus sign to close it.
Double-click the Home button and try opening the app again.

* It's typically unnecessary to force an application to close. You can access all recently used apps by double-clicking the Home button, but these apps are not necessarily open.

When I open the App store the Featured and Top Charts screens are blank on my iphone 4. I have tried restarting the phone and logging in and out of iTunes. Does anyone know how to correct this problem?

I have checked everywhere in the iPhone 4 and without look I have not found anything. I have read other post regarding this and have tried to look for them or type them to search. But nothing appears.

I had this same problem. Tried everything the internet said including a full restore. Which was terrible. Nothing worked until.....go to general...reset....reset all settings.
You had to go back in and reset anything you customized afterwards, however it does not allow the store to load. Thanks!

Try a Reset [Hold the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons down together for 10 seconds or so (until the Apple logo appears) and then release. The screen will go blank and then power ON again in the normal way.] It is 'appsolutely' safe!

Thanks Demo. i had turned on restrictions but I had totally forgotten about it. I think I had turned it on more just to see what it was, and I had never seen any app be restricted from downloading big before. I would have never figured this out as there is absolutely no indication in the App Store as to why the button is missing. Thanks!!

That message indicates that a read timeout occured. This usually suggests either a cabling problem (the RS-485 pin-out is in the NI-Serial manual pdf), a port settings problem (baud rate, etc.), a COM port number problem (using COM3 instead of COM4, etc.), or a communication protocol problem (incorrect command sent to the device, etc.). I suggest double checking your cabling and port settings, then run your vi with NI-SPY open to see what type of port activity is occuring.

Saw this on another post.
Applecare Senior Advisor (I have his contact info in an email he just sent) just confirmed with me that the problem people are having with the App Store not loading is an apple issue with there servers, ITS NOT YOUR IPAD so don't go restoring it! It's not happening to everyone however but they are looking into it, its really hit or miss.

Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
This works for some users. Not sure why.
Go to Settings>General>Date and Time> Set Automatically>Off. Set the date ahead by about a year.Then see if you can connect to the store.

Error while trying to search in advanced table with hide/show region

Hi
I have search region and a results table with a hide.show in it.I did a search initially and got the results.I clicked on the hide/show region to see the details.
I put another search criteria in the search region and tried to do a search.
I am getting the following error
The search cannot be executed because the table has pending changes that would be lost...
Can anybody help me on this please....

Any setter/getter method being used on hide/show action? How are you enabling the details? Is there a transient column in your VO?

Ipad mini crashes, goes black, apple logo comes up then back to the home screen. it happens at random times with random apps

my ipad has been crashing. it will happen at random times with random apps. it will turn black, apple logo appears, then back to the home screen. i have reset it. ive sent it to apple and they couldnt reproduce the problem and they sent it back. it was fine then it happen twice this morning.

Make Sure iOS is updated to the latest version
Reboot the device by pressing and holding down the home and sleep/wake buttons (power) at the same time until the apple logo appears on the screen, then let go.
If that doesn't work then reset the device by going to settings/general/reset/reset all settings
