I tried to update itunes on my pc and received the following error messages:
1st error message
ITunesHelper.exe -Unable to locate component
This application has failed to start because MSVCR80.ddl was not found.
Re-installing the application may fix the problem.
2nd error message
APSDaemon.exe - Unable to Locate Component.
Same
3rd -6th message
HelperMsgListenerWnd: iTunesHelper.exe Unable to Locate Component
Same
I have tried reinstallingitunes several times with the same result.

Head back into Windows Update and attempt to get updates again. If they still fail, this time with an 8000FFFF error code, try the following Microsoft document:
Windows Update error 8000FFFF
If you get Windows Updates flowing again, stock up on any you're behind on (restarting the PC when requested to do so). This may take some time and may have to be done in several batches, depending on how far you've fallen behind. Basically, keep going back to Windows Update until it stops offering you new updates.
After the updates have been installed, restart the PC one more time (in order to ensure that any pending installs requiring a restart have been resolved).
Now try another iTunes install. Does it go through without the 0x80070424 this time? -
While making a backup copy in Itunes of my Iphone I receive the following error message: While making a backup copy of this iPhone (-35) an error has occurred. Do you want to continue with altering this Iphone? When you continue al the material on this Iphone will be lost.
I reinstalled iTunes but that dit not help. After synching iTunes with my iPhone it also asks to authorize my pc and when i Click on ok, it says it is already authorized.
Please can somebody help me, so I can make backup.

DerkIt's likely that your backup is corrupt. Try deleting the backup, then right click on the name of the phone in iTunes and choose "back up". To delete go to iTunes Preferences, Devices tab. Highlight and delete the most recent backup. Note that sometimes deleting this way leaves some garbage around that can still interfere with a new backup, so you should verify that the backup folder is empty.

The folder where your backup data are stored varies depending on the computer's operating system. Make sure the backup folder is included in your periodic data-backup routine.

Help. I tried to open my Illustrator CS6 today and got the following error message, "To open Adobe Illustrator CS6 you need to install the legacy Java SE runtime". Some have found that the page may turn up blank to start with, so it may be necessary to reload the page.

If you do not have a local copy of a song which you have purchased (i.e. it is available via iTunes in the Cloud), you may need to redownload it before you can transfer it to your device. You may find the following article helpful:

I had Itunes on my PC (Windows Vista, 64-bit) and it worked fine with my Ipod. I purchased an Ipod nano, and it was not recognized by Itunes and I was instructed to un-install and re-install. After un-installing Itunes, I am unable to reinstall. I bought a mac companion for my desktop mac running os x but received the following error message when I tried to install the quikprotect software download: "power pc no longer supported." I did not read that anywhere when investigating. What gives?
PPC, also known as PowerPC has not existed on Macs since the beginning of 2006. Apple made a bridge software and included it with Mac OSes until 10.6.8 known as Rosetta that would allow you to run software written for the PowerPC Macs. 10.7 and later can't run that bridge software. You have one of several options:
Install 10.6 retail on a USB Flash drive, and run that application while booted from there.
Find an update designed for 10.7 or later of the software.
Find a combination of Virtualbox or Paralllels that can legally run a version of 10.6 side by side with your 10.7 software.
Run Windows on your Mac with Virtualbox or use CrossOver that requires no Windows to run a Windows version of your application.
Your Mac is an iMac Intel. I will ask a moderator redirect your thread to the 10.7 forum, and no action is needed on your part. -
