I tried to update my ipod to iOS 6.0.1 software but it froze of a while so i attempted to restart it, now it wont even turn on! The screen changes colors everytime. I held down the lock and the home botton to try to restart it but nothing works!
I have absolutly no acess at all and the only thing that does anything is the lock and home button if i hold them down together but it seems to repeat the process with no progress but a color change. I just want to fix this problem without ruining anything on my ipod.

You need to restore your iPod to factory defaults/new iPod. That is the only choise.
Warning: If you encrypt an iPhone backup in iTunes and then forget your password, you will not be able to restore from backup and your data will be unrecoverable. If you forget the password, you can continue to back up and use the device, however you will not be able to restore the encrypted backup to any device without the password. You do not need to enter the password for your backup each time you back up or sync.
If you cannot remember the password and want to start again, you must perform a full software restore and when iTunes prompts you to select the backup from which to restore, choose set up as a new device.

I did update on phone and now it wont even turn on... It shows the charger being plugged into I tunes.... At this point I am not sure if I need to just do a factory reboot or what....AT this point I cant do anything through phone... It has to be done by my computer ... Anyone know how... After I tried to update my iPod 4 to iOS 5, my screen turned to the USB cord pointing to the iTunes symbol. When I try to restore it, it says that the 3014 error has occured. I went to check for support on iTunes and I did download the latest version of iTunes (11.1.1). I tried to restore it again and the same error occured. I dont understand half of the instructions for the resolution of the 3014 error code so I did the instructions that I understood and nothing has changed. Please tell me how I can fix it.

The "device may need service" means a hardware problem. In that case make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store.

I Need assistance repairing my browser "Safari" on my MacBook Pro. The only thing that happens when I select it is that the Icon does bounce up and down. This procedure is a diagnostic test. It’s unlikely to solve your problem. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
The purpose of the test is to determine whether the problem is caused by third-party software that loads automatically at startup or login, by a peripheral device, by a font conflict, or by corruption of the file system or of certain system caches.
Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards, if applicable. Start up in safe mode and log in to the account with the problem. You must hold down the shift key twice: once when you turn on the computer, and again when you log in.
Note: If FileVault is enabled, or if a firmware password is set, or if the startup volume is a Fusion Drive or a software RAID, you can’t do this. Ask for further instructions.
Safe mode is much slower to start up and run than normal, with limited graphics performance, and some things won’t work at all, including sound output and Wi-Fi on certain models. The next normal startup may also be somewhat slow.
The login screen appears even if you usually login automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin.
Test while in safe mode. Same problem?
After testing, restart as usual (not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of the test. -

Ipod 5th generation started loosing its battery really fast and now it wont even turn on.
My iPod 5th generation is just over a year old and its screen is a bit cracked. a couple of months ago it started to keep its battery less and less and it would go to 100% battery after a couple of minutes and then when unplugged it would die just as quickly. For the past week or so I've had to use it plugged in as it was barely keeping any charge (1 minute) at the most.Last night I was using it and i unplugged it and put it on the shelf i presumed it would be okay through the night as i wasn't using it. But when i woke up it wasn't turning on at all and so i plugged it into the charger. The apple symbol came up for about a minute and then the screen went blank. I thought I'd leave it plugged in to see what would happen but it kept repeating the symbol to blankscreen process. If anyone knows whats wrong with it or how to fix it please tell me. as it took me a long time to save up for it and its a big loss of money for me.

I have been trying to update my ipod touch iOS
I get error message saying it has "timed out" even after it actually says the correct amount of data has been downloaded. I have already turned my firewall off, and my antivirus as well.
What else is happening?? This is frustrating when the file size is so large and on a limited amount of data for the month.this is happening to me as well, Windows 7; i'm currently trying to download w/firewall turned off, is this a 15-18 minute download?

I tried to update my iPod touch with the new 3.0 software and nothing!!
I downloaded and *PAID FOR* the new update on iTunes
BUT
after downloading it and followed everything it still says error
it keeps saying to 'restore and update' but that still doesnt work and now my iPod wont even turn on without coming up with a picture of a USB import and the iTunes symbol!! does this mean i now CANNOT USE MY IPOD?! i reeeeeeeeeally need help guys and _simpliying things is a good idea for me since im not entirely technical ^^;_I've got the latest iTunes version so i dont think it has anything to do with that. Shall i just take it into an Apple store and get them to have a look? would someone come round to fix it? _CAN ANYONE HELP ME HERE?!?!!_

Hey guys. Lately every time I've woken up my Macbook the screen changes colors. It will go through all of the primary colors and then some gray horizontal and diagnoal stripes, and sometimes the screen will flash in and out. Usually if I close the lid and reopen a couple seconds later, it's fine. But, is there any way of fixing this? I don't want it to turn into a bigger problem.
You may be having a problem with your screen, your integrated GPU or your connection cable between the logic board and the screen. The only way to ferret out which problem you have would be to take your machine into your local Apple Store or an AASP and have them run diagnostics on the unit. They can give you an idea of what's up with the machine and an estimate on what it would cost to fix it.
