I tried to update my phone to ios 6.x and when i updated my screen tells me to connect to itunes to allow my phone to open. ive connected it to itunes but it still isnt working
When i updated my phones iOS to 6.1.1 i got screen when i looked at my phone after the update finished and it's teling me to connect to itunes.
Even when i connect to itunes its still showing the screen. i use my phone for everything can someone please help me fix my problem.
The connect to itunes is the picture that takes up my screen with the USB cord below the itunes symbol.

Im having this exact problem. I updated my Iphone yesterday and now nothing will come on but connect to itunes. I have also tried several times to connect to itunes but every time I do nothing happens.

You could try syncing the contacts with yahoo or google contacts, then sync them to the iPhone. Or, export the contacts and then import them into one of the aforementioned servicse, or iCloud, then sync to the phone.

Go to settings, messages, turn iMessage off then back on. Make sure your phone number is selected for send and receive

Probably because the previous owner had the phone hacked to unlock it, and when you updated it locked back to the original carrier.
Only the carrier that the phone is locked to is authorized to unlock it.
If the previous owner had the carrier unlock it, you wouldn't have any issues. -

Start with removing iTunes in the order of the first article states, which is iTunes, Apple Software Update, Apple Mobile Device Support, Bonjour, Apple Application Support (iTunes 9 or later). Once that is done, then download iTunes 64 bit version from the second link below and run that installer.

Applecare Senior Advisor Txx Bxxx (I have his contact info in an email he just sent) just confirmed with me that the problem people are having with the App Store not loading is an apple issue with there servers, ITS NOT YOUR IPAD so don't go restoring it! It's not happening to everyone however but they are looking into it, its really hit or miss.

Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
This works for some users. Not sure why.
Go to Settings>General>Date and Time> Set Automatically>Off. Set the date ahead by about a year.Then see if you can connect to the store.
