I tried to upgrade to iOS 6 and now iPod has a green screen
I tried to upgrade my daughter's iPod. During the upgrade process it was frozen, so I turned the iPod off and when it came back on it just had a green screen. Would not turn off, home button did nothing. I tried plugging it into computer, iTunes doesn't even recognize that I plugged something in.
HELP!
Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iPod fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- If still not successful that indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

If it's an iPad 2, it's old enough to be out of warranty. Courcoul's suggestion to trade it in for a new one is ok if you are in the market. If not and you want to take a risk - and possibly a big one at that - others have reported a pretty extreme solution to this problem. Slap it on the back.
I know, I know. It's sounds crazy, but there are several threads here claiming it works.

No, I'm sorry. If you're seeing that Connect to iTunes screen that means the phone is in recovery mode and needs to be restored.
If you can't borrow a friend's computer, you can go to the Apple Store and they will restore it for you. -

Have you tried Deleting the Mail Account and then Re-adding it...
Delete the affected email account from your device.
Tap Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars.
Choose the affected email account, then tap Delete Account.
Add your account again.

No SIM card, tried to upgrade to iOS 8, now I can't use device at all
I decided not to use AT&T any longer a while back and got rid of the SIM card. I did not know I needed it! Now I have used iTunes to upgrade to iOS 8 and it won't let me use it. Is there anything I can do?

Thanks for the question. When using an iPhone without a wireless service plan, you will need to insert a SIM card from a new activated phone before restoring or updating it:

I just upgraded my iPhone and now it has no sound. Why?

I have just connected my ipod touch to my pc to sync when itunes said there were updates. I accepted but when they were running I got an error message saying if I continued all my data would be lost - I clicked cancel and now my ipod is completely unresponsive. I have a black screen, it won't switch on, I tried putting it in its dock and nothing! I tried holding wake & on button and nothing! When I connect to pc it is as if it isn't there! The living issue is complex in my case. Legally speaking, I have no personal residence globally. I just live wherever my father goes, which is everywhere. I'm an expat and it seems that these sites aren't really expat-friendly. They seem to be built for localization and assume everyone stays in the same place.
I don't know what I'd be considered. I'm a US passport holder and live in China, but I only speak some Chinese and I can't read it (it using non-latin characters is just too much for my mind's memory to handle). Besides that, I'm not interested in popular Chinese apps. They tend to just be annoying and kooky and generic and put together badly, often full adware and spyware (speaking for most Chinese software, in fact). In fact, a lot of apps I want are illegal in China (YouTube, Facebook, etc) and I use a VPN to use the services. I assume I wouldn't find these apps on the Chinese store. In fact, last I checked, there wasn't many English apps on the Chinese app store. This is probably due to their strict moderation or something.
I've been going to international schools since I got here and college would be in English too. I can speak some Chinese, but not read it.
Well, I guess the answer is that I can't use the App Store in English. So I guess I'll just sign out everything on my phone involving my Apple account and just start using third-party tools to do my business. -

When the 4S was first introduced, two flavors of AppleCare were offered: Regular & AppleCare Plus. AppleCare Plus permits an out of warranty exchange for US $49, twice during the life of the contract. Regular AppleCare has no such provision & an out of warranty exchange will be US $199. Regular AppleCare is no longer sold in the US.

My husband(less technologically inclined than I am), decided to delete programs from our iMac, he turned it off and now it has a grey screen and won't get past it. It won't start in safe mode and when I If I insert the Application Install DVD, to repair the disk, will I loose all my pictures and music?
With a corrupt disk, the install procedure is most likely going to fail.
How old it the disk?
You might be able to reformat it to fix the problem. Of course that means you lose all of your data.
The other alternative is to get a new disk drive and put that in your Mac and install OS X
Then put the old disk drive in an enclosure and see what can be recovered from it.

I have a n IPhone 4S. I upgraded to IOS7 and then tried tp go back to my prevous IOS and now my phone will not turn on at all.
I tried to do the same, but couldn't find ios 6. I even tried the APPstore, to download the last IOS6 version.
The most problem is the running out of the battery.
I've checked each app who is "eating" the most power.
The battery stoped runaway, when I closed the weather service....
So for now, I will use regular internet service, and probbaly will do to more app.
Until, finaly, I will find my self with all the applications closed....:-)
That will be the sign, to replace my phone to anderoid....:-)
Till now, there is no any sign from Apple to have a glance to our complanes.
