This message usually indicates that your phone has been hacked/modified or jailbroken.
Was your phone ever locked to a different phone carrier? IF it was how did you unlock it?

Did you try the things listed here? Error 3194, Error 17, or "This device isn't eligible for the requested build" - Apple Support Is your device jailbroken? If you are using a USB hub, switch to a USB port directly on the iMac.

Plugin can be loaded from the link below. This is getting installed on the firefox 3 version but each time I install it on Firefox 4 version it shows the compatibilty error. I have disabled the compatibilty check for firefox in default:config setting but still getting the same error. Please resolve asap.

The messages are saying you have a 2G iPOd. Those canonly go to 4.2.1. Apple only made 32 and 64 GB 3G iPOd. A 32 can be either. To further identify yours:

Try my script FindTracks. Select a few of the missing files to start with then run the script. Choose No at the first prompt so that you can check how it works track by track, then confirm or edit the location of the media folder where your files are. I also tried it on my laptop (windows 8.1) and none of the above worked. My error code on my laptop was 02. The phone is through Verizon and it has absolutely no damage. It was working fine up until this and I have been trying to fix it for 2 days. Please help! I am unsure of what version the phone was currently running on before this because I have another iphone that's my primary phone and have not used this one in about a month. I do not believe it was updated to IOS 7.

Your iPhone is in recoverty mode at the moment so to possibly get it back up and running you would need to do a restore as you have been trying. External: WD 500 GB recently reformatted (no files on it currently)

The iPhoto library must only be on a volume formatted Mac OS extended (journaled) - it can not be on any other format drive

This happens if the file is no longer where iTunes expects to find it. Possible causes are that you or some third party tool has moved, renamed or deleted the file, or that the drive it lives on has had a change of drive letter. It is also possible that iTunes has changed from expecting the files to be in the pre-iTunes 9 layout to post-iTunes 9 layout,or vice-versa, and so is looking in slightly the wrong place.
Select a track with an exclamation mark, use Ctrl-I to get info, then cancel when asked to try to locate the track. Look on the summary tab for the location that iTunes thinks the file should be. Now take a look around your hard drive(s). Hopefully you can locate the track in question. If a section of your library has simply been moved, or a drive letter has changed, it should be possible to reverse the actions.
Alternatively, as long as you can find a location holding the missing files, then you should be able to use my FindTracks script to reconnect them to iTunes .
