After restoring to factory settings/new iPod you will then have to restore from backup
To restore from backup see:
iOS: Back up and restore your iOS device with iCloud or iTunes
If you restore from iCloud backup the apps will be automatically downloaded. If you restore from iTunes backup the apps and music have to be in the iTunes library since synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup of the iOS device that iTunes makes.
You can redownload most iTunes purchases by:
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store

You are in recovery mode, you need to restore it through iTunes on your computer then reload your most recent backup.

If by "iTunes logo" you mean the image below, you need to connect your phone to iTunes and follow that directions that appear (which will probably tell you that you need to restore your phone).

I take it you tried using the "right click" menu? That doesn't seem to work, as you noted, but, you should be able to paste text by pressing your CTRL key and while holding it down, press the "V" letter key.
CTRL + C = COPY
CTRL + X = CUT
CTRL + V = PASTE

Hold the Power button and Home button at the same time, keep holding, when you see the white apple logo appear and then let both go. Let it start. -
I recently uninstalled itunes to work on other computer issues. I was told I would be able to reinstall itunes, and through my apple account retrieve all of my music. I just don't know how to do that. Can someone please help me? Thanks!
okay, I figured it out. But for anyone else with this same issue. Open up your itunes. On the panel, on the left hand side, click downloads. It won't show your old stuff, but on the botttom right hand side, there will be a button you can left click that reads "download previously purchased" and everything shows. You just select all and confirm download. YAY! Glad I got my music back :-) Hope this helps

I have looked back through several of the crash reports and this is what it says is the problem. I am really getting irritated. I can't find anywhere to get help and I would love to continue using Firefox but not if it is gonna crash every 5 minutes literally. Can some one please help me fix this.

You should be able to uninstall it by using the Windows control panel. Open the Windows Control Panel and select the "Programs and features" option. In the list of installed programs click on "My Web Search" and it should give you the option to uninstall it. It may also be known as "My Way Speedbar" or "Search Assistant - My Way".

This is so frustrating.
I downloaded the latest iTunes and iOS 8.1 for my iPod Touch 5th Gen., and now it only displays a message on it with a charger with an arrow pointing to a red iTunes logo. I've tried doing just that, but for one reason or another my iPod will not connect to iTunes. I cannot do anything on my iPod but turn it off and back on, with the same message in tow. I know my iPod is connecting to my computer, since I hear the same notification tone whenever it is plugged in or pulled out, but it will not connect to iTunes. It was still functioning last night and before I close the firefox window, the problem started. The problem persist until now.
1. Bookmark - tried to check the "help" list for lost bookmark but none of them seems to suit the problem i'm facing. The menu tab is there, but when i click on "Bookmarks", my previous bookmark list is not there. When I try to bookmark a new page, there is no window popping up (usually there is a small window pop-up to ask for the label of the website to be bookmarked).
2. The website address tab - usually we have a list of website that we usually visit so we just need to click on the arrow and click on the webpage that we want to visit. But now, I have to type the website address every single time. There is no drop down when i click on the arrow.
Can someone tell me what is wrong with it and please help me to solve this problem. THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!!This can be a problem with the file places.sqlite that stores the bookmarks and the history.

As with all clickwheel iPods, you can reset this iPod by first toggling the hold switch on and off and then simultaneously pressing the select (center) and menu buttons for approximately 5-10 seconds. This is a common fix should your iPod behave unexpectedly or lock up. Once reset, the iPod should display an Apple logo for a few seconds before showing the main menu. This procedure is similar to rebooting a computer and damages none of your music or data.
