i tried upgrading my ipod touch to 1os 6, then it got stuck on recovery mode, saying there was an error 3194, i went on youtube to search for all the support, i was told to change my hosts file to boot from cydia or something like that, i tried more than 10 times it didnt wor, my itouch is pratically useless now. what can i do?

My iPhone 4 started to update but got stuck in recovery mode. I've tried everything anyone on the website has told me to do, but nothing has worked. When you go to turn it on, it shows the Apple symbol, then it goes to the connect to iTunes screen. When I do that, it just says error with the code 9006. I've followed what the Apple site has said to do for it, but the phone is still is the same state. Is there anything I can do? I need my phone back as soon as possible.

I was trying to update sofwatare for my iphone 4s, i got stuck with recovery mode and only option i see is to restore from factory setting. Do i lose all the the datas ? i did't had any backup. What is a solution?
If you didn't back it up, your data is gone. There is no "solution" after the fact.

Tried to update iPhone 4 to iOS 6 and my phone got stuck in recovery mode. My only option now is to restore my iPhone and lose media. However, I then tried to restore my iPhone and error 1603 occurred. My iPhone is now not working!?!?!
if your computer is not recognizing it, try using a different USB port or different usb cable. if that doesnt work you will need to uninstall and reinstall itunes.

I have an iPod Touch stuck in recovery mode. It has a picture of a usb cord pointing to the iTunes symbol. When I plug it into a computer it says "iTunes has detected an iPod in recovery mode. My iPod touch (5th Gen) is in what seems to be recovery mode.
1) Ok so this has happened earlier today and I've been trying everything. My iPod's screen was blinking the Apple logo and wouldn't boot up normally. I pressed the power button and the home button and it told me to connect to itunes. Well as soon as I unplugged my iPod to plug it into the computer, it just shut off and wouldn't turn back on again. I plug it in but it doesn't respond and the computer doesn't even realize that it's just been plugged in. This is the first time it's done that. iTunes is also not opening, nor is the device charging in the computer. I plug it back into the wall and it starts working again with the blinking and telling me to plug it in to iTunes, but it's just not working. What can I do?
2) I also have second problem, but I'd rather the first one be dealt with, well, first. Anyways before this all happened, I had gotten the screen fixed about a week prior. After I got it back, I had network issues. The iPod searches for available networks, but never displays any. Only on occasion does it show two networks. Mine and a neighbor's, but it doesn't connect to mine and in a matter of seconds they both disappear. The weird thin is that when I place the iPod on top of my router, the WiFi begins to work again, but only when I place it on top. I've tried resetting the settings, but nothing's changing. However, I would take it back to who fixed the screen. The wifi problem is likely due to the antenna not be connected internally because of improper scree replacement. Apple will not help if someone other than Apple worked on the iPod -
I have a 3gs, and I haven't updated it for a long time because I always have issues when I do. I tried to update the ios today, and it decided to update it to 6.1.3 instead of 7, I didn't think there would be a problem, so I clicked ok. When I came to check on my phone, itunes said there was an error with the update, and my phone was in recovery mode (plug-in sign on the screen). I looked up multiple things to try, I tried putting it in DFU mode, still itunes doesn't see it. The computer also doesn't list it under devices, however when it is plugged in the Apple Mobile Support USB Driver shows up in device manager. I have tried uninstalling itunes and reinstalling, still nothing. I just want to know if there is anything else I can try. Thanks.
No, it is my phone that I've had since 2009. I just hate updating it because every time I do something goes wrong. So I put it off as long as possible. I am getting a new iphone, but I read that to have your backup transfer to the new phone, it must be a backup from the current ios.

Trying to upgrade to ios5 software but my phone update failed - now STUCK in recovery mode

The warranty only last 12 months, I've had my phone 16 months so the phone line help isn't available to me anyway as my warranty's expired.
I don't actually know what "jail breaking" is, I've just seen it mentioned as a solution when googling my problem.
I previously synced my phone on itunes, if i restore it, do you think there's a way itunes may remember the information(photos) & back it up on to the restored phone?
I don't know if it makes a difference, but itunes on my laptop has updated itself, and i synced my phone on the previous version before it did so

What exactly happens when you restore? Error message? -

Error 1604
This error is often related to USB timing. Try changing USB ports, using a different dock connector to USB cable, and other available USB troubleshooting steps (troubleshooting USB connections. If you are using a dock, bypass it and connect directly to the white Apple USB dock connector cable. If the issue persists on a known-good computer, the device may need service.
If the issue is not resolved by USB isolation troubleshooting, and another computer is not available, try these steps to resolve the issue:
Connect the device to iTunes, confirm that the device is in Recovery Mode. If it's not in Recovery Mode,put it into Recovery Mode.
Restore and wait for the error.
When prompted, click OK.
Close and reopen iTunes while the device remains connected.
The device should now be recognized in Recovery Mode again.
Try to restore again.
If the steps above do not resolve the issue, try restoring using a known-good USB cable, computer, and network connection.
