I-Trigue 3400 (No Sound Problem)

I was listening to music through winamp. Not loud at all. Suddenly the sound just stop coming out for no reason. My winamp is still playing though. First thing I do is check all the connections. Everything is in place. After trying to go from my ipod to my speaker system, I still go no sound. I plug in my headphones to my computer and I get sound. So I know it is the speakers now. I ordered a new wired remote control (my 3rd one) since I have had this problem before and it was that the remote was bugged. Well now with a brand new remote I still get no sound. The speakers power up. My connections are good. Not sure what else to do.

i've isolated the problem to the subwoofer or the cable connecting sub and the soundcard. although i suspect its the sub which means i probably have to think of buying new speakers.
P.S. i can hear the short 'hum-click' sound when i switch the speakers on/off. just no sound whatsoever after this happens

Subwoofer on I-Trigue 3400 no sound

Hi,
Have purchased the above speaker system but on testing get no sound from Sub have Audigy soundcard and running WinXP. On speaker settings shows speaker volume to be off but cannot move slider to adjust volume, any ideas would be helpful.

i've isolated the problem to the subwoofer or the cable connecting sub and the soundcard. although i suspect its the sub which means i probably have to think of buying new speakers.

I-TRIGUE 3400 problems

Hello , i am spanish and i try to explain my problem in english... I have bought the I-TRIGUE 3400 speaker, but when i connect the I-TRIGUE to the pc, it doesnt detect it, and i cant listen nothing, do i have to download something? i need a cd? thank you for the answers

Your speakers will not require any type of drivers, software, or cd. You will need to verify that your soundcard in your computer is working and outputting sound properly. You can also test the speakers by plugging them into an alternati've audio source such as a portable CD player or portable radio.

I-Trigue 3400 static problem..

It's been only 4 months max since I've been using these speakers, and all of a sudden
starting yesterday, static sounds appeared.
I've tried plugging it out and waiting.. It was ok for a while.. but static returned.
It is NOT my computer, since when I use my head phones or another speaker, no static can be heard.
Also, if I turn the volume way- higher than my usual (almost to the max) the static disappears.
What is wrong with my speakers? It is in warrenty so there is no problem getting an exchange, but
I'd like to know if there's any way to fix it. If not, I'll get an exchange.

I plugged in my new Sennheiser HD590 (my 2nd Pair) into the Remote Control of the I-Trigue 3400. And i wondered of hearing these (static?) anoying tickling in the phones.
I thought it could may be my Sennheiser Headphones, but i wondered cause I got the I-Trigue 3400 since January and until yet it worked fine.
So I tried my old Sennheiser HD590 - same prob. I tried the Sennheiser MX500 (In-Ear-Phones) - same prob. I tried my Plantronics Audio .90 - same prob.
Then I plugged in the Headphones directly into my Audigy 2 ZS - no (static?) tickling sounds anymore. I tried and experimented until yet 3 days now - un-/installing drivers - unplugging etc. - nothing worked.
Please Support and tell me what is happening to my I-Trigue 3400 - I am using Creative Products for right over 8 Years now and i haven't got disappointed until yet. Go ahead!

I-trigue 3400 channel problem

I've recently got a 2.1 i-trigue 3400 and audigy 2 ZX and i'm having trouble with them. The problem i'm having is that the channels don't seem to work. I can't pan between the left and right speakers, when i pan to the right channel, all i hear is the subwoofer and when i pan to the left channel all i hear is the left and right speakers playing at the same time. When i plug headphones into the wired remote, it works fine and i can pan between the left and right speakers on the headphones.
Surely this shouldn't be happening though? The fact that the speakers can't pan from left to right renders EAX in games useless (which is why i upgraded in the first place). My old 2.1 system didn't have this problem, can anyone offer any assistance? I hope this makes sense to someone and that i havn't worded it all wrong!

Problem with I-Trigue 3400 (static)! Please help!

Alright, I bought my first set of I-Trigue 3400s about 2 weeks ago. Less than a few hours after using them, static started to come through the right speaker. This would happen intermittently for the next 2 days before I decided to exchange them. I was told it must of been a manufacturing defect and not to worry.
Well, I got a 2nd set of the I-Trigues to replace my first set. Everything has been swell for the past 2 weeks until last night. Last night and today I am once again getting static over my speakers. I tried fiddeling with the wires thinking it might be a loose connection and I also tried shutting off my computer and any nearby electronic devices. Unfortunately, none of my attempts have resolved the issue. This time the static is coming out of both speakers, although it is really bad and loud with the right speaker. I tried switching the left/right plugs around for the speakers, and this just made the louder static come out of the left speaker instead of the right one..
PLEASE HELP! My speakers haven't even lasted me two weeks!! And this is the 2nd set of 3400s I buy!!!!
btw, I've already sent for my rebate, so I don't think I can exchange my speakers for the THIRD time!

Hey! I've got the same problem with the same kind of speakers! When im listening to something volume is coming down and after a some time its coming back to its previous level! Coming back to its normal level can be forced by turning the speakers on and off! thats all i've discovered...
i also heard that some of creative speakers have kind of (f**k i dont know the word in english :P ) which works like that: when subwoofer is hot it automatially turns the volume lower to save your speakers from burning form hot :P or something like this :P
hmm... what i discovered that is no matter what i connect as source of music! effect of volume is the same
or maby you discovered the reason of this?

Problems with my I-Trigue 3400

My bass has been acting funny as of late. It just randomly fades away occasionally. I've fiddled with all the connections and also with the bass and volume dials on the control remote, to no avail. I tried hooking up my speaker system to my CD player when it cuts out, but the sound problems persisted. I normally have my bass setting at around 5 on the remote. If the bass cuts out, and I turn it up to max (10) I get some bass, but not as much as even my original 5 gave. The first time this happened, it lasted for a few minutes, but the next time it happened, I couldn't get the bass back for a while. I hear around the Internet that there seem to be a lot of problems with the remote. Could this be the problem here?
As a side note, it may just be me, but sometimes the blue light on the remote doesn't seem to come on right away. It doesn't look like it affects the sound, though.

I-trigue 3400

Hi,I've just bought the i-trigue 3400 speaker set. However I am having a few problems playing it through windows and the subwoofer.When the pc is playing directly to the speakers without the speakers it plays well.When my mp3 player is connected to the dock that in turn is connected to the subwoofer it plays well.However when it plays through windows to the subwoofer tospeakers, the left speaker is the dominant one and the right speaker barely plays. I have swapped the connections over and discovered it is the red hole on the subwoofer that has the problem. The right hand speaker plays very quietly. I have to push it against my ear to be able to hear anything. I have checked on volume control to see the allocation of sound to the speaker and they are central. Does anybody know what the problem could be?

Weird i-trigue 3400

Hello everyone,
I had purchased the i-trigue 3400 but exchanged it because it had a volume fluctuation problem.
(It would go up and down by itself... tested with multiple sources to make sure it wasn't a
sound card issue)
The new set I've got is different than the original one, and any other I've seen pictures of. The
hole for the subwoofer is on the top circle not bottom. The power cable doesn't have the power
supply at the end where it plugs into the wall. It's just a small plug. Anyone know what this is
all about? It's the first one I've seen this way, and am concerned.
Was this an earlier revision that creative pulled off the shelves and I somehow got a freak one left
over at circuit city?

my subsystem i-trigue 3400 don't play anything when connected to my PC. i strictly refer to the technical support leaflet to install it. using it with the zen micro is a gorgeous play. may help me?

If the speaker works with the MP3 player but not with the computer, then the most likely problem should be with the computer sound card. You could try updating the sound card driver.

I-trigue 3400 soundwoofer not working / right speaker low output compare with left speaker

Hi, basically i have 3 sets of creative i-trigue 3400 purchase as second hand. All these 3 sets have some minor problem. I trust my ability i able to repair it as iam a professional electronic engineer. Just need some advance information or guidance from creative big brother and sister.
i do check with the controller everything, because i have 3 sets so i able to verified the problem.
1)subwoofer not output----Is it problem with amplifier or any transistor damage? How do i start checking and verified it?
2)right speaker low output compare with left speaker----I already analysis it and would like to know is it the transistor prolem? Please let me know so i can start with my repairing.
From what i know, this model seem like going to discord soon, so is it possible send me a partial schematic on the 3400 so i can repair. Please let me know and reply me, i am waiting your answer. Thank you

Creative Labs is based in Singapore, so I don't think there is a problem. I am not aware of any knock-off's of this particular product. If you are still concerned, I would recommend contact support to register your product and serial number. If there is any problem with it, they can notify you.

Any solution to resurrect the audio I-Trigue 3400

Hello friends, for those who know the creative teams of 2.1, I have come to the terrible conclusion that I can not do anything to buy or fix the remote control of my sound system 2.1 I-Trigue 3400. For a long time it broke. But I think it's a shame to throw away the subwoofer and two speakers given the short time of use they have.
I wanted to know if anyone can advise me with any alternative to make sound again.
I've thought about the possibility of canceling the system remote control... some cable splicing inside the subwoofer or using a cable that closes the circuit to jump utilities remote control (on / off, volume, bass)So just control the volume from the computer and turn on or off just by disconnecting the plug from the wall. Is this possible?. Has anyone done something similar?
I hope you can help me. It's a shame to waste a stereo that cost money saved while.

I have no personal experience on tinkering the volume control pod but if you really want to, you may want to consider bringing the speaker to an electronic shop or if you have knowledge in electronics, you can do it yourself. You can try searching spares on ebay or other third party stores for the volume control pod. I tried googling Itrigue 3400 control pod and found one in ebay (you may want to check it out yourself).
By the way, is your pod: a.) literally broken, b.) no volume at all or c.) volume is erratic? If it's the case of b or c, I was thinking just maybe, it could be a "dirt" issue on the control pod. Overtime, dust gets accumulated on this part (rotating controller) which most of the time is the cause of erratic volume or no volume. You can try opening the control pod's back cover and put some alcohol on it and slowly slide the resistor up and down. See if this helps.

Creative I-Trigue 3400 or L3500?

I recently bought a Mac Mini which has a built in 2.1 sound card so i'm looking at getting either the Creative I-Trigue 3400 or L3500, at first i was leaning towards the L3500 since they have more power but then it sounds like the 3400 has better sound?
I will be mostly using these speakers to listen to Music, maybe watch some videos now and then and some very little gaming, so what would you all reccomend?

I have the same question. I compare the 3500 to several other systems and found it to be superior. I did not test against the 3400, which is a different design concept. I tested against the 3300 which I did not like at all.

i bought the creative I-Trigue 3400 in italy but i seen "made in china" written in the box near the serial code. It would not have to be written "made in usa"? How can i check the authenticity of the product?
