I Trigue 5600 Speaker System RMA

Hi, would be grateful for some help please. A couple of days ago my speaker system stopped working. It is within warranty and I contacted the support centre. I was sent a troubleshooting guide which I followed through and still the speaker system isn't working. What I did discover however, is that the power supply unit that plugs directly into the subwoofer is actually working as I could hear it buzzing when I put it next to my ear. Also, it does get a bit warm when it's on.Anyway, I tried to explain that to customer support, and they have sent me an RMA no for the power supply !Phoned up this morning and I'm not getting anywhere. The problem could be either with the subwoofer, or the volume control unit, or failing that the power supply unit. The volume control produces a blue light normally when its turned on, but that isn't also happening anymore. I am from the UK btw and if anyone could help, I would be very grateful. I have also sent numerous emails trying to explain the above. Thanks

Well i think i have the same problem as you with these exact speakers (i-trigue 5600). I found out it was the volume control not that long ago, so im guessing this is the same problem as you! Try lifting the black turner thing on the volume control away from it and turn it and see if the blue light comes on, mine came on for a second, but the volume control is definitely faulty. If you know of any way to get a volume control this would also help me :-) Peace outChris

  • Creative I-Trigue L3450 Speaker System

    Hi.
I am interested in the above product but was just wondeirng if anybody could answer some questions for me.
Is it possible to plug a USB MP3 player into the controller of this system and have the music played? The following link seems to suggest that a USB MP3 player can be plugged in:
    http://www.boysstuff.co.uk/product.a...id=&src=Search (st picture)
    Can Anybody confirm this?
Also, must this system be connected to a PC or can it simple be plugged into the mains and have MP3 players etc run off it's
    Any help would be brilliant!
    Thanks!

    badboyuk,
The USB port on the volume control is what we call a M-PORT. Basically, it does what you mention by it's only compatible with M-PORT compatible player and as far as I know, only the Creative MuVo NX is supported. The speaker doesn't need to be connected to the computer only. You can connect to any audio source that's using a 3.5mm stereo minijack output.
You can also download the user guide for this speaker from the Product Documentation page for more information regarding the speaker system.

  • Trouble with I-Trigue 5600

    Hi,
I have bought an I-Trigue 5600 sound system 3 days ago to connect to my onboard CMI 8738 6CH sound card, but i have notested since i installed it that the Center Speaker doesnt work well and only produces noise. Verifyed cables/connections and its all ok. I have also notested that Center and Subwoofer share the same channel, but the subwoofer seems to be working fine. Then i decided to try this speaker somewhere else and it was working as well.
If i enable the CMSS included on I-Trigue 5600 the Center speaker starts working and the system works perfectly. However, as far as i could get from the short manual creative sent me CMSS should only be used when listening to external devices such as TV sets, game consoles, etc.
I was just wondering if someone could give me a hint on this problem to help me solve this or to point me if a new sound card would kill the problem.
Note: I can't find this audio system?s on the listed support devices, what makes me impossible to get in touch with Creative support directly...

    Lovepeaceguru,
If your TV is using RCA connector, you need to get a dual RCA to stereo minijack(3.5mm) cable. Have the RCA end connected to your TV and stereo minijack end to the subwoofer audio input(FRONT). Next, have the switch behind the subwoofer slide to 2CH->5.1 upmix.

  • I-Trigue 2.0 speaker system

Does this speaker system need to be plugged into a computer to work? Or can it be used anywhere just by itself?

Really!?! Thanks! Sorry, the model was the I-Trigue 2300. That's great, thanks for replying! :smileyvery-happy:

  • Problem with I-trigue 5600 . Please help!

    hi,
My I-trigue 5600 worked perfectly for over 4 years. Buy recently, my rear right channel stoped working I 've tried everything : all satellites work poperly, drivers are ok, I tested it on 2 computers. There is still the same problem. Unfortunately Creative dosn't have after-guarantee service.. So, I tried to open subwoofer, but the inerity is too complicated with many areas flooded with glue or isolation. I tried also to buy another subwoofer / i believe it must have small damage , but the rest of speakers work great and the voice of subwoofer is good as well/ but there is problem with buying a subwoofer separately. Becouse there are only auctions on net.
So , what I supposed to do? Does Creative have separated spare parts to my subwoofer? Can I buy another subwoofer anywhere?
Can I replace my sub to similar from another speakers system and which one would be suitable.
I don't want to change my speakers. They are the best for me, but defect of one chanell is annoying. Really.
I wanted to buy x-fi elite pro ,but now it's pointless.
    Please help me
    Despere Makary

Hey! I've got the same problem with the same kind of speakers! When im listening to something volume is coming down and after a some time its coming back to its previous level! Coming back to its normal level can be forced by turning the speakers on and off! thats all i've discovered...
i also heard that some of creative speakers have kind of (f**k i dont know the word in english :P ) which works like that: when subwoofer is hot it automatially turns the volume lower to save your speakers from burning form hot :P or something like this :P
hmm... what i discovered that is no matter what i connect as source of music! effect of volume is the same
or maby you discovered the reason of this?
    ps.
sory for my very unperfect english...

  • DDTS-100 + i-Trigue 5600 + CH-DVD 462 center channel issue? Please help...

    Hi there,
I'm having some problems with this setup.
My DVD player is set to RAW output.
All cables are connected properly (checked, double checked)
When playing most 5.1 content (Dolby Digital track from DVDs) surround works perfectly except for the center channel. It's completely deaf. If I set the decoder to Stereo output, it works, so I know it's not the speakers. I tried some tests (7.1 THX Optimizer tests present on some SW DVDs) and the center channel works here (but the other ones are sort of messed up), so I assume it's not the decoder either.
I tried the center/sub switching cable that came with my last speaker set, and though it does switch the channels (I can hear mumbling dialogs in the sub channel) the center channel remains deaf.
So I know that the sound actually makes it out of the DVD (RAW is RAW) to DDTS-100 and from DDTS-100 to the speaker set (yep, the signal's here but I can't hear).
I should mention that I used competetive speakers before and had a similiar issue with the subwoofer channel - it made sound only for the LFE DVD channel as those speakers were not doing subwoofer channel computing (AFAIK Creatives do (bad bad bad bad)), but I assume DDTS and i-Trigue 5600 are supposed to be compatible...
    I'm completely puzzled. Any suggestions?

    shin8,
Are you getting proper output if you use the "TEST" button on the remote control?

  • I-Trigue 5600 5.1 sound from my DVD player

    Hi all,
I've got a JVC DVD player which includes DTS/Dolby decoder etc and has Optical and Coaxial Digital outputs. Is there any way to connect this to my I-Trigue speakers to get proper 5.1 surround sound or do I have to stick with just connecting the Audio Out L/R to the speakers and having it set on UpMix to get pseudo (sp?) 5.1
    Thanks for the help folks.
    Regards,
    Tim.

    Tim,
Does your DVD player have 6 RCA audio output that's normally meant for connect a 5.1 speaker system or does it only have optical and coaxial output?
If the player have 6 RCA output, you can get a stereo minijack to dual RCA cable. Plug the minijack end to the subwoofer audio input and RCA end to the player.
If not, you can look at options like the DDTS-100 decoder that spots optical/coaxial input.

  • Can I use a  new ipod touch in an old dock/speaker system

I will be in the states soon and thinking of getting and I pod touch the 5th edition. However I have an older dock/speaker system and wonder will it work in it. I have heard that you have to buy an adaptor. Is this true and are they easy to get and how expensive are they. Also is there any issue with buying one in the states and using it in Europe

    http://store.apple.com/us/product/MD823ZM/A/lightning-to-30-pin-adapter?fnode=72
is the lightning to 30 pin adapter. There are some third party ones out there, but not a ton. If you go for a third party one go for a name brand not a no name generic.
If you want to buy one, look for a retailer with a good return policy so if it doesn't work you can take it back.
As to world wide use, shouldn't be a problem. The only thing you need to worry about is making sure you have a plug adapter if your charger is rated for world wide voltage, or making sure you have a charger that can handle the world wide variances in power. (Usually rated 100-240V in the specs)

i wanted to know, how can i play the songs from my Iphone on a amplified speaker system without any Computer. I can use a airport express.

  • Can I use my new iphone 5 with the old iHome iD9SVC Speaker System if I get an apadter? or should i just buy new speaker system made specifically for the iphone5

can I use my new iphone 5 with my old iHome iD9SVC speaker system if I get an adapter? or should i just buy a new speaker system made specifically for the iphone 5?

Look iTunes>Preferences>Devices...is a backup listed for your iPhone 5 dated BEFORE you restored your iPhone 4 backup to your iPhone 5? If not, your data is gone. If there is a backup, on your iPhone 5: Settings>General>Reset>Erase All Content & Settings. You should now be able to restore that backup, if it exists, to your iPhone 5.

  • A solution to the S750 speaker system problem

Well my s750 died just like everybody elses. But after creative wanted me to pay 75% of my purchase price, I found a better solution. Nope, I am not fixing the unit like you guy's. I do not see the need to fix a poorly design system! I am not sure if creative or indigo/bash/blade audio is to be blamed. But if I had to pick, I would say "indigo/bash/blade audio". Years ago before blade audio became indigo, I had a chance to visit their location in ontario Canada. This was just when they stop making the blade audio car amps.
While I was there, I happened to see this long list of brand names they had started to make amp modules for. Names like Harman International, Klipsch and so on. Anyway I cast the blame on indigo for this reason: Some years ago I had purchased a set of "harman international" infinity IL series speakers. Like our creative s750, the infinity shares a bash powered subwoofer system. And just like the s750 the infinity subwoofer like to blow up too! In the case of the infinity, the power supply was the weak link. The amp module in the infinity at that time, was built just like the blade audio car amps before. Which in my opinion is a much better design than what is being used in the s750. I remember one of the sale guy at circuit city at the time saying, "I wish we would drop this model". He went on to tell me the failure on the powered units were very high. You know there is a problem when the mid level Creative Inspire T7700 7.1, out last the flagship s750. Now, whats my better solution you guy's want to know? Two words , Simplifi Digital! The 7075a 7.1 amplifier along with Definitive Technology Pro Sub1000 and the remaing surround speakers from my s750 system. Yes, it did cost me more to go this route. But what I now have is a much more reliable system. And a sound that the s750 can only dream about. My s750 died while I was listening to Dave Bruebeck quartet "take five" at mid volume. With my current setup, I can listen mid volume all day long with no hiccups.
For those who my have the cash to spend. I recommend looking at my direction!? Keep this in mind, make sure whatever powered subwoofer you choose, is adjustable up to 50hz. The creative surround speakers dont play very well below 20hz. Also make sure whatever powered sub you choose don't use a BASH amplifier. For those looking at the s750 as a purchase, good luck. Or go over to partsexpress.com and get the Dayton Part Number 300-670, surround speakers. Then get the simplifi digital 7075 7.1 amplifier and power subwoofer of your choice and make a better/best system. Sorry Creative Labs! This post is NOT intended to cast negativity. I use and like the products you offer. I just do not like the s750, and the reasons are all over this forum and elsewhere on the net. I currently own 3 audigy 2zs sound cards, three Inspire t7700 speaker system, three sound blasters modems and yes, one defective/dead s750 speaker system. If anything use this post as a positive to what Creative Labs could offer in the future. A system like I now have, sure would be nice with the Creative name all over it.

My system specs below. What I have now simply blows the S750 away. And this is mated to my Audigy 2zs card. I am tempted to try my Terratec Aueron 7.1 universe which does sound better than my 2zs. The Simlifi Digital amplifier is one serious unit. This amp has one HUGE toroidal transformer inside of it! I was able to see it thru the vents on top of the cover. Definitive Technology ProSub 1000 Subwoofer Specifications:Complement: One 10" woofer with polymer cone coupled to one 10" infrasonic radiator
